3 - Skill-Build Information:

This Guide is Based on TB Hybird, so Staff People can really just ignore this. I’m just going to Post what Skills you Should HAVE at least and what what levels.

NOTE: I Leave 4 Points Left Over after Level 97+ because Fishing is an IMPORTANT SKILL to Have, but for some people who don’t want it they can put those 4 in what ever you want, but I’ll explain detail off them later.

NOTE 2: O yea, Just so uno this Skill Build is ASSUMING you are willing to Reskill a few times like I did (if not try to set up your own skill order based on on certain major level Skills, either Major Reskill at 87 or 97, I recommend the 97 but eh? U need to Reskill a Few times to Maximize the Used of some Skills while they are still useful).

Level 15: FIRST PET!

Explanation:

Pretty Much the Basic Setup for when you start out and what to Pump as you level to get your first summon. Pretty much the reasoning behind this is clear. Pump Twin Mastery as soon as you can to do the most damage you can at your level. and Maxing Blade Spin helps to help kill monsters faster, and don’t level Evolt Shot/Cross Hack, because they have a low out put damage, even at max not really great for TBs, but it is useful to lure monsters to you/poison them.

I also said to get Tarantual because its easier to level with him. He does poison damage which not only is ranged, but it poisons the monster, making them die faster. And in General Libido is better than Beast.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Between Level 15 and Level 43, pretty much pump Tarantual and Alde for Pets, and Pump Twin Mastery, Blade Spin, Devil Swing, and Blood Bats and Skin of Foreign Realm, after learning Spirit Dagger, Blood Bats and Skin of Foreign Realm.

Alternative:

An Alternative to this Skill build for those who can’t reskill more than once, I’d keep Blade Spin at level 1 and save points later for around 52 to go hybird or so (if you don’t want to reskill but instead save skill points).

Level 43: Check UP

Explanation:

Ok, by now Maxing Blade Spin will help for killing monsters, and with a combination of Devil Swing with that they should be dying fast. Max Tarantual, be cause at times he is more useful than Alde. Though Alde can Stun and hit harder, at times its easier to use the Tarantual to help tank mobs off of you, because unlike Alde who has to run back and forth to hit monsters that just hit you, Tarantual uses ranged attack to hit them form a distance and helps keep mobs off of you, and still can poison monsters. Also, Start Pumping Blood Bats as its your first “aoe” sortof, and the HP buff from it you can use at times to save on pots.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Between Level 43 and Level 52, before you reskill Pump Alde for Pets, and for skills, Pump Twin Mastery, Devil Swing, Blood Bats, and Skin of Foreigen Realm.

Alternative:

For those who can’t reskill more than once or alot, I’d keep Blood Bats at Level 1, and Keep Tarantual at Level 1 instead of leveling them, and as stated in the last Alternative, keep Blade Spin at Level 1 aswell.

Level 52: RE-SKILL TO HYBIRD

Explanation:

Ok, here is either where you Reskill to become a TB Hybird Summoner, or if you don’t want to reskill and saved up points, this is what you should be going for. At 52 I’s Reskill and Learn some Staff Skills. At level 52, your almost level 55, and having a Tarantual Level 5 at this point isn’t as helpful as Alde, so your going to remove the skill points from Tarantual and back to 1, but at the same time still pump Alde. You are going to learn Vicious Mastery and make it Level 10 to do as much Damage with Staff Skills as you can being a TB Hybird. I’d recommend that you keep Vicious Thorn at level 1, because the damage is pretty low and useless for a TB Hybird, but at least you get to learn Summon Ghost which is a new AOE you get, and is a Staff Skill. At the same time, Blade Spin has lost its use, and the Damage Out Put is kinda low, and not as useful compared to Devil Swing considering both are Single Target Skills. Though you are taking outs out of Blade Spin, at least you learn your first TB AOE being Blade Dance. I’d recommend Pumping Blood Bats still, because it still is an AOE sortof, and the HP Buff is still useful in Crespo/Crespo Dungeons. With these 3 Skills (Blood Bats, Summon Ghost, and Blade Dance), it gives you more AOEs so you can dish out some more damage in Crespo PTs or Crespo DP PTs.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Between Level 52 and Level 60, for Pets Pump Alde, and get the New Summon, Tentator. Continue to Pump Devil Swing, Blade Dance, Summon Ghost, Blood Bats, and Skin of Foreign Realm.

Alternative:

For those of you who do not want to Reskill now, and instead were saving up Skill Points, this is what you should be looking towards when it comes to Making a Final Build. Though I’d keep Blood Bats at Level 1 for those who still want to save Skill Points and Reskill at a Higher Level.

Level 60: For Crespo PTs

Explanation:

Ok, by now you’ve reach level 60 which is a major level to reach in game because it opens the option for you to start joining Parties for Crespo A, B, and C Dungeon Runs. Now at this stage having level 5 Alde still is useful even with the nerf, because of his chance of still stunning the Boss at the end (most likely your not going to be getting that far in the low 60s, but later on its useful). By now you also have your first AOE Pet being Tent, one of the best and useful Pets to have for PvE and PvP. Now most of the time people don’t like summoners using pets in Crespo Dungeon Runs because they are big and get in the way, SO when it comes down to AOEs you only have 3 really. So again continue to pump Summon Ghost, Blade Spin, and Blood Bats. Blood Bats not only is technically an AOE to help kill the mobs, but at times the HP gained can save you. And Clearly Pump Devil Swing and Skin until they are Maxed.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Continue to Pump Devil Swing, Skin of Foreign Relm, Tent, Summon Ghost, Blade Dance, and Blood Bats.

Alternative:

Again if you don’t intend on reskilling alot, I’d recommend leaving Blood Bats at Level 1 and save your skill points.

Level 74: RE-SKILL TIME

Explanation:

At level 74 you get 2 more AOEs now being Poison Sword and Infected Earth. Now you can reskilling now if you want since Blood Bats really at this point is now no longer useful. Poison Sword is a linear AOE and the Buff g iven to you is extremely useful for PvE and PvP. Infected Earth is a good one Strong Hit AOE as well which will come in handy.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Continue to Pump Tent, Summon Ghost, Infected Earth, Blade Dance, Poison Sword, and Skin of Foreign Relm.

Alternative:

Again you don’t NEED to reskill now, but instead just keep Blood Bats again at Level 1 to save Skill Points.

Level 83: NEW PETS!

Explanation:

Congratz. You know have hit level 83 and you now have your new 83 Pets, unfortunately they kinda suck. Now at 83 you should have enough skill points to Get all the Beast Pets (Level 1) allowing you to get Bregon as well as Anathema. When it comes down to PvE Anathema is better than Bregon which is why I’d suggest getting its AOE Skill (in which case later on it is very useful still). Anathema is also useful later on in the 90 DPs. Anathema has a linear AOE, and lowers all Res of the Monster by a certain %, and unlike Tent it isn’t as big so sometimes people don’t mind if u use this pet for that Dungeon.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Continue to pump Summon Ghost, Infected Earth, Blade Dance, and Poison Sword.

Alternative:

Again Keep Blood Bats at Level 1 if you are trying to save points.

Level 87: RE-SKILL COSMOS!

Explanation:

WOOT! Your First Set of Cosmos. By now I really recommend Re-Skilling now OR at level 97 at LEAST if you only intend on reskilling once or a few times, as this is a major jump in skills and a change in game play. Now you reskill at this point in the game to take points out of Summon Ghost because it is pretty week for a TB Hybird Skill, and you have 2 new aoe cosmos to make up for that aoe. The Cast Time on Summon Ghost not only makes it a bad skill, but being as weak as it is with a low level staff, using it would just a waste (because correctly you can cycle through your other aoe skills).

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

There really is no need to explain as I posted a Picture for this.

Alternative:

Now if you don’t want to reskill now I’d Keep Blood Bats at Level 1 Again, BUT by now you probably have pumped Summon Ghost so you will just have to keep it and see what happens until you reskill. Now Summon Ghost Can still be useful as an AOE if you need one at least for the 90 DP coming up so this isn’t a major bad thing if you still have it, though I wouldn’t recommend leaving it at Level 1 when you were a low level because back then it was actually useful.

NOTE: If you reskill now I STILL Recommend Reskilling at Level 97 because it is very Important Level to Reskill, IF you can’t afford to make both Re-Skills Go with the Alternative.

Level 96: What You SHOULD Pump for 90 DP

Explanation:

Being already 90+ you most likely (if not idk wth you’ve been doing for the last 6 levels) have done a few Crevice 90 DP Runs. Now by level 96 this is what I’d recommend that you pump based on how it can benefit you for the 90 DPs. Again Anathema Level because you can actually use (most likely) this pet for 90 DP and -% all res of monster not only helps you but other ppl in the party. Now Infected Earth and Poison Sword and the Cosmos are mostly what you should be cycling through, and now and then a Summon Ghost if you really need to (though I don’t really think its useful at all).

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Its one level soo Ignore this really.

Alternative:

Now if you didn’t reskill at Level 87 and you still have Points in Summon Ghost, its not a major problem, but I’d keep Anathema at Level 1 and Pump Poison Sword, and Cosmos and Skin of Foreign Relm and then lastly w/e points you have left can go into Infected Earth.

Level 97: RE-SKILL NEW COSMOS!

Explanation:

FINALLY! You reached Level 97 and got yourself some Kick Ass Cosmos. Now I really recommend by now if you haven’t Re-skilled at Level 87 that you Re-Skill NOW as by now its important to effectively have the most important skills you will need for later on. These are your Ideal Skill Set-Up for Level 97, SO if you were pressed for Skill Points and saving them, this is when you reskill or put those saved skill points to use. Now I removed the ENTIRE Staff Skills from the skills to have (except the Staff Cosmos), because by now Having a Level 10 Infected Earth + 2 Points for Summon Ghost and Thorns is a waste of 12 Skill Points that can be used else where. The Rest should be pretty clear as of why I put skill points into them.

NOTE: I recommend getting the Fishing Skill because its useful, but I’ll go into some details about that later, but for more information on why I did that you can check Page 3 or 4 where I explain it there since I haven’t Posted it here yet.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

There is no Need for this since I posted the Picture.

Alternative:

The ONLY Alternative really at this point is to not learn the Fishing Skill and instead use those points later to get a Level 5 Bregon (if you want), or if you want you don’t need to have Bregon’s AOE. For fun you can just pump 1 point in each staff skill just to have all the staff skills for all I care. Also I made a Mistake and had it so that Alde was at Level 1, WHICH is another alternative you can take, but by mistake I think I ment to have him at Level 5.

NOTE: You Don’t NEED to Re-Skill at Level 108, BUT instead you will have to Keep Alde, Tent and Bregon at Level 1 so that by Level 108 you have that ideal Skill Build Set Up.

Level 107: BEFORE RE-SKILL

Explanation:

Now for the most part this is pretty clear why I have this skill set up. Pump Anathema because yes it is useful at Higher Levels, but if you want you can also Pump Bregon for fun (people say he is good for PvP but I haven’t seen that at all personally), BUT the only Reason you might pump Bregon really before you get Level 108 Pets is because his one hit can do some nasty damage and can be good for KSing for DF.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

Its only One Level soooo Ignore this.

Alternative:

Now You DON’T NEED to Re-Skill at Level 108, SO if you want after Level 97 Reskill Make sure you have Alde and Bregon Still at Level One so that by Level 108 you have that skill set up.

Level 108: FINAL RE-SKILL–FINAL PETS!

Explanation:

YEA! Final Pets! You Don’t need to reskill here, BUT if you’ve made any mistakes or w/e this would be the time to reskill as from here on its pretty clean and easy for Skill Points. By Level 108 You want to have these Skill Build as your Ideal Skills and Set Up. For the most part this is clear why I have this Build by Level 108.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

You are going to want to Pump the Cosmos, Skin of Foreign Relm and Both the 108 Pets.

Alternative:

There really isn’t much? But you could not have pumped those Fishing Skills and instead got a Level 5 Bregon or instead of Fishing and Bregon’s AOE Skill you could put those 5 kill points in Beast Mastery or w/e.

Level 132: FROM HERE ON ALL SET!

Explanation:

From here on you are pretty much set. Skills are up to you as by now you have the most important Skills Needed for higher Levels. I’d Suggest Getting Tent cause he was always fun, or Pumping Beast Mastery or Blood Bats. Really it doesn’t matter past this point so you can do w/e you want.

What to Pump in Between Posted Skills:

No Further Posted Skills SO do w/e you want.

Alternative:

I’d recommend at least learning the Fishing Mastery at least by now if you haven’t already, but again all up to you.

Personally I didn’t do these EXACT Skills, but very similar, I had to take into consideration you guys have new skills and pet aoes and skin at 10 which I didn’t have when I was leveling…..

4 - Information On FISHING and WHY Its Recommended and Important:

Fishing is a very important and really needed skill at higher levels, especially if u have a cash amu for auto fishing. Now just cause its auto fishing doesn’t mean u can afk fish. BUT with this, you can watch tv, or a movie, or actually study/do homework etc. while auto fishing (just as long as u can reply to a GM/Mod if they ask u to, ur not really afking and u can do w/e while u fish).

Fishing is important for a few reasons, especially at higher levels. One thing thats important, if u want u can use some of the fish, or just sell it and if u sell most of the fish to the npc u can get full bags worth about 200-300k+ Gold from just selling fish (full bags and even more if u have more cash bags for inventory).

Also, one important thing u can get from fishing is Kamin and Parahnas (sorry spelling). Kamin give the MOST HP than any pot in the game since the new npc pots haven’t been put in yet. They give 2840 HP which is way more than the store max pots of 1600. Parahnas also give 3000 HP worth of HP, BUT over time (in other words its ur personal Fast Heal without a seg if u want, though it only lasts for a very short while and giving a total of 3000 HP by the end of the time).

Lastly, the most important reason for Fishing is Argates. With the prices of argates now etc. its a good way to save money and fish for argates urself, or to make even more money by fishing and selling argates u find. In Draco (main fishing area) you can get Coppers, Silvers, and Gold Argates (as well as the other 2 fish I mentioned before can be only found so far in Draco, argates maybe able to get in other fishing spots but I’m not sure).

Now YOU DON’T have to get the fishing skill, especially without the cash amu, manually fishing probably sux. BUT when you think about it, looking at my skills if I removed the 4 fishing skill points, and the Bregon AOE Skill (useless but I just have for fun), that only leaves me with 5 skill points. Really what can you put those 5 skill points into something useful? Maybe with new skills later etc it could be useful, but I mean all you really COULD Put them in is Blood Bats or maybe a Pet Mastery? (either way if the skill you are going to put those 4-5 skill points isn’t going to be maxed –ex. Blood Bats now at 5-6 then— then its really useless).

This just some notes on why fishing is important/useful (especially effective if u get the Crespo Golden Fishing Rod).
–btw I just copied and pasted what I typed earlier cause I’m lazy and I’ll clean it up later I guess.

5 - Pet Information BOTH Libido and Beast:

Libido Summons:

Name: Tarantula
Type: Libido
Level Req: 15
Attack: Range
AoE: NO
Extra: Has Poison Res %, Has Poison Damage De-Buff (-HP)
Good: It is good for PvE because he can poison them and make them lose HP to help kill them
Bad: He has low HP/DEF compared to high level pets (will need to resummon)
Max: YES/NO - If you plan on Restating a few times in the future I would Max him, but if you can only Restat One and you are trying to save skill points leave him at Level 1.

Name: Alderbaran
Type: Libido
Level Req: 36
Attack: Physical
AoE: NO
Extra: Has Physical Res %, Can Stun Enemy
Good: For Staff Very Useful the Stun for Kiting, or IN GENRAL Stun is very using against Bosses
Bad: At high levels His Stun is only useful, and Attack Power is alot less/next to nothing
Max: YES/NO - I recommended MAX for Staff/TB/Hybird, but once at a lot higher Levels you don’t need him as much so if you are trying to save as many skill points as you can then keep him at Level 1 if you can’t reskill a few times.

Name: Tentator
Type: Libido
Level Req: 58
Attack: Range
AoE: YES
Extra: Has Poison Res %, Poison Damage De-Buff (-HP), -% Poison Restistance
Good: Excellent for PvE and PvP and a GREAT Pet to Have
Bad: It is very Big and sometimes is annoying when trying to target enemies (can cause problems if in a Party)
Max: YES - For TB its Essential, Staffs can use Tentator in PVPs also, but Aldebaran is more perferable probably. Tent is a Good Pet to have Maxed and not a Mistake if you have it maxed towards the high end Levels when you need to restat. Then is a time I’d recommend making it Level 1, but I highly don’t recommend Leaving it at Level 1 to save Skill Points but eventually when you Re-Skill only then keep it at Level 1.

Name: Anathema
Type: Libido
Level Req: 83
Attack: Range
AoE: YES (Linear/Splash)
AoE 2: YES (Sword Vigor - Linear AOE)
Extra: Has Curse Res %, can do De-Buff -% All Elemental Resistances
Good: Great HP/DEF and is useful to Tank, and At High Level Useful for Party PvPs and Bosses
Bad: Its AOE is Linear/Splash (straight line and splash hits once it hits something)
Max: YES (At High Level Anathema’s -All Resistance is useful for Party PvPs and I will go into other details Later)

Name: Muspel
Type: Libido
Level Req: 108
Attack: Physical
AoE: YES (2/3 Attacks are AOE)
AoE 2: YES (Force Wave - A Pet Buff that Increases Def and Taunts Mobs for a Short Time)
Extra: Has Physical Res % and Curse Res %, and can -% Monster’s Def and can Stun (1/3 Attacks).
Good: An Excellent Tank especially with the Most HP and Def out of any of the Summons. Great for PvE as well with the Taunt AOE Skill and His AOE Stun on Mobs.
Bad: He is BIG so clicking may be a problem, and he Moves/Attacks Slower than Agares.
Max: YES - He is clearly one of the Last Summons and is Very Important to have for various Situations.

Beast Summons:

Name: Grewpain
Type: Beast
Level Req: 15
Attack: Range
AoE: NO
Extra: Has Ice Res %, and Ice De-Buff (Lowers Emenies Attack Speed by X%)
Good: It can Lower Ememy’s Attack Speed
Bad: Not Very Useful in general, and Tarantula is Better
Max: NO - IN GENERAL its not really useful at all compared to the rest of the pets, one of the few things most people agree on is don’t max.

Name: Regulus
Type: Beast
Level Req: 36
Attack: Phyisical
AoE: No
Extra: Has Lightning Res %, Does -X% of Enemy’s Attack and Move Speed
Good: Has a Similar Stun to Aldebaran’s
Bad: Though Similar, Aldebaran’s Bind Stun is alot better/useful
Max: YES/NO - If you are Pure Beast I’ve seen a lot of people Max him, BUT if you are Hybird Pets, NO Don’t Max him as Aldebaran > Regulus.

Name: Selaime
Type: Beast
Level Req: 58
Attack: Range
AoE: NO
Extra: Has Fire Res %, and Does Fire Damage De-Buff (-HP)
Good: It has higher attack than Tent, and is useful for Soloing PvE (sortof?)
Bad: Not Really Useful for PvPs or PvEs with Parties (Etc.)
Max: YES/NO - Similar to Regulus, if you are Pure Beast Yes, IF NOT NO Don’t max as Tentator is ALOT Better)

Name: Bregon
Type: Beast
Level Req: 83
Attack: Physical/Range (Very Small)
AoE: YES/NO (kinda?)
AoE 2: YES (Boomerang - Linear AOE)
Extra: Has Fire % Res, Does -X DEF and Low -X% Defence
Good: He has some good Damage and Better Suited for PvPs > PvEs
Bad: He Doesn’t have an AOE(?), and is only useful for PvPs/Trying to KS in Earl Dead Fronts.
Max: NO - Bregon is ok for PvP but thats all. Its not worth the skill points to Max him when he becomes completely useless once you get 108. But from 83->108 the only Major Use is for PvP/KSing DFs.

Name: Agares
Type: Beast
Level Req: 108
Attack: Range
AoE: YES (3/3 Attacks are AOE)
AoE 2: YES (Meteor - Big Range AOE and Allows 3x Poison Damage to Monsters In Poisoned Gas)
Extra: Has Ice, Curse, and Poison % Res and can -% Monster’s Max HP.
Good: Excellent Damage, Attacks Fast, and Great for PvP and PvE.
Bad: Like Muspel he is BIG so clicking may be a problem, and he dies a lot faster and more often than Muspel for PvE/Bosses.
Max: YES - He is a High Level Summon and One of the Best Summons to Have Maxed because of his various uses he can have for Dead Fronts, Siege, PvPs, Parties, and PvE.

6 - Information on the “Great Skill”:

With the recent Addition of the BMR Patch, The Level 83 and Level 108 Summons were Given their “Great Skill”. Bregon’s Great Skill is Called “Boomerang”, Anathema’s is called “Sword Vigor”, Muspel’s is called “Force Wave”, and Agares’ is called “Meteor”. Now to use each Summons’ Great Skill, First you need to Learn the Skill which Requires One Point, but unlike other Skills these Great Skills cannot be Leveled. You Can’t Use the Great Skills when ever you want, but instead you have to Build Up a Bar first because it is required to use the Summons’s Great Skill. You can fill up the Bar by Various Ways.

Some of the Ways to Fill Up this Bar to 100% is by (need to confirm some to make sure):

-Doing Damage On Monsters From Your Summoner
-Doing Damage On Monsters From Your Summon
-Taking Damage From Monsters On Your Summoner—Not Sure?
-Taking Damage From Monsters On You Summon—Not Sure?

In Order to have the Bar Filled Up fast I recommend Summoning the Summon that you want to use it on as soon as you can because it can take a while to Build up, but doing damage is especially the Best Way to quickly fill up the Bar. Unless this Bug was Fixed, or will be fixed, I have noticed at times the Great Skill Bar will stop at 99% and won’t go any further. If you experience this Bug is may take a while before it actually gets 100% so you can use the Skill, but usually when I come across this Bug and I know it I just Resummon my Summon. To use the Great Skill Attack you Need to have a Targeted Monster and Click the 0 Key (or Number Pad 0 can’t remember if you can do both). Personally I use the Number Pad 0 because its easier to Hit. Once You have used the Great Skill the Bar Resets back to 0% and you need to Build it Back Up Again. SO you can either use the AOE Skill right away so you can build it up again and Re-Cast it as soon as you can, OR I’d recommend at least Timing it Correctly for when you use it (ex. in a 90 DP when the Numbers are Getting Really High and A LOT of Damage is Needed to Help Kill some monsters).

7 - Comparison Between Libido and Beast Summons:

In General the major Difference between Libido and Beast is that Libido Summons have more HP and Def but don’t do a lot of damage. Beast Summons on the other Hand have more Attack but have Less HP and Def.

Tarantula vs. Grewpain:

For the most part this is a pretty easy comparison. Most people find Tarantula better than Grewpain, and I think so as well. At Lower Levels the fact that Tarantula can not only Poison Monsters (making it easier to kill at lower Levels), but he can also survive a lot longer. Grewpain just generally sucks.

Aldebaran vs. Regulus:

Regulus may hit harder, but Aldebaran’s Stun is what makes him very important and useful. Though both Summons technically do slow down the monster or w/e in a sense, but when it comes to higher Level Bosses where you may still use these Summons (mainly refering to Crespo Boss) the damage between both Summons are both so Low it doesn’t even matter, but what does matter is the HP and Def. Because that will determine which Summon out of the 2 will last longer, and Aldebaran can tank alot longer than a Regulus can on a Crespo C Boss (as an example). I know Aldebaran has been Nerfed with recent Patches to kind of suck now, BUT either way if I were a high level bringing some noobs along for Free Crespo C or w/e idk I’d want them to have an Aldebaran over a Regulus.

Tentator vs. Selaime:

This is a major problem people always have arguments over. Selaime does hit harder than Tentator, but really isn’t an AOE no matter what people are going to say (even if people say o PVP AOE its still soo small and useless at higher levels it doesn’t matter). Selaime is alot smaller though and probably best for someone who wants to solo 1-2 monsters at a time slowly but effectively to gain exp. Tentator is a lot bigger than Selaime, which at times can cause problems in Parties. Tentator on the other hand is one of the best AOE Summons you can get. With it’s splash AOE attack, and good HP and Def it makes training a lot easier for summoners as well as tanking mobs at times if you need to catch your breathe. In general Tentator’s great AOE and the fact that it lowers Poison Res % makes it extremely useful for PvP and PvE because by using Poison % Damage Gems it means you do even more damage.

Anathema vs. Bregon:

Bregon has some important uses, but not many. Unfortunately Bregon does not have an AOE (kinda-don’t wanna go into that) beside his AOE Skill. Bregon does hit pretty hard and can lower the monster’s Def. Bregon can be useful for Earl Dead Front before Level 108. He may only hit one monster, but having a high amount of damage being done makes him useful for KSing, rather than hitting more but doing less damage. Another good use for Bregon is in PvP mainly against Bagis and maybe Aks before Level 108. Before Levle 108 Bregon is real useful against Bagis. Bagis have a Buff that makes it so Tentator and Anathema’s -% Res Debuffs won’t work. This being said makes Tentator and Anathema real useless for PvPing Bagis. Bregon can’t Debuff Bagis either, BUT before Level 108 Bregon hits the hardest making him useful in a PvP against Bagis. Aks have a lot of Def, so the -Def Debuff can help, but Bregon really Needs to be Level 5 for it to be useful in both situations, if not Tentator most likely is a better choice.

Anathema in general has a lot of more things going for it than Bregon though. Anathema at least has an AOE attack, though its pretty bad, but either way its an AOE. Unlike Bregon, Anathema was more HP and Def. At Level 5 it is the only ideal pet really recommended to use for training in Doomed/Cursed Maze from Levels 105-108. In addition to that Anathema is very useful for Bosses, including Dead Front. Anathema at Level 5 has the ability to Lower a Monster’s Res by 11%. This makes it a lot easier for people in the part who use different elemental gems for their weapons, or for Mages (etc.) so that they can dish out more damage. This is why I recommend keeping Anathema in the higher Levels. I still use Anathema at times in Dead Fronts in Duke. It sounds weird, but with other Summoners using Muspel to Tank, one less won’t make a major difference, so I use Anathema for his De-Buff to help everyone out when I can. This same idea can be used for other Bosses. Anathema is especially useful when it comes to Abyss Parties as well. Sometimes various types of damage is needed to kill Bosses in Abyss. Lowering the Elemental Res on certain High Res Bosses makes it easier for the Party to Kill (not needed for all but for some Bosses).

8 - Information on Muspel and Agares:

Muspel is the Highest Level Summon for the Libido Tree. Agares is the Highest Level Summon for the Beast Tree. Both Summons have 3 Different Attacks and an AOE Skill. Whether you are a Die Hard Libido or Beast Fan I would Highly Recommend you have Both Pets when you get to Level 108. Both Pets have various uses depending on the situation at hand based on there differences in stats and attacks.

Muspel:

Muspel has a large amount of Def and HP making him great for tanking. One of the best uses for him is to tank major Bosses. This can be for Dead Fronts, Abyss, or just any other Bosses in game. Muspel has 3 types of attacks; One is a single hitting attack, and the other Two are AOE Attacks. Muspel’s single hit attacks is where he just smashes his Right Hammer into the Monster (fast and used often). The 2nd Attack Muspel has is when he slams both hammers into the ground (causing a cracked earth/ground looking effect) which is an AOE. Muspel’s 3rd and Most Powerful/Useful AOE is when he Jumps High into the Air and Slams both Hammers Down into the Ground causing Chunks of the Earth/Ground to Scatter. This is one of Muspel’s Most important and useful AOEs because it not only does the most damage, but it AOE Stuns the Monster(s) and Lowers the Monster(s) Def by -%. Now though Muspel only has 2 AOE Skills, in general he is very slow when he actually tries to perform these AOE attacks. Being slow as he attacks can be very bad at times because it means less damage on the Monsters, and if you are in Maze it means possibly being Knocked Back.

Muspel as has a AOE Skill, or also known as Great Skill. Muspel’s Great Skill is called Force Wave. Now unless its a bug in the game (though I don’t think so) this AOE Skill does NOT cast an AOE Attack on Monsters. Instead it causes Muspel to go into Berserk Mode in which case his Def Increases a Good Amount and he “Taunts” the Monsters to attack him. This can mean if you are soloing and have a Mob of 6 Monsters on you, and if you Go into an Area with 3/4 Monsters with you Mob of 6, if you use his Skill it will cause the other 3/4 to be lured to Muspel as well, causing you mob to get even Bigger. The Only Problem with Muspel’s Force Wave is that it’s range is very small, and does not last very long.

Muspel’s Force Wave Skill makes him ideal for PvE for Summoners that Solo or those in a Party with one or two People. Muspel does use Physical Damage, so he would be good for PvP, BUT unfortunately people don’t realize that for Muspel to Stun and - Def % of the other Person you need to have a High Level Muspel, because if not his chance of using the AOE is very low, and just having a Monster that doesn’t hit pretty hard in a PvP isn’t idea. Unless Muspel is Level 5 he really is more ideal for PvE.

Agares:

Agares has a High Attack and can Dish out a lot of Damage making him great for KSing, or Dungeons. Agares, unlike Muspel, has attacks that does a lot of damage making him the idea Pet for High Level Dead Fronts. Agares may hit hard, making it easier to kill mobs, but unless you have a Larger Party, Agares will get hit a good amount and may die pretty fast. Agares isn’t ideal for High Level Maps if you intend on Soloing, but rather Larger Parties. Agares has 3 Attacks and all are AOEs. The First Attack is a Poison Ball type attack. The AOE of this attack is very similar to Anathema’s Attack being a Range and then Slash Attack on 2 Monsters usually. The Second Attack is the Green Spear. This attack is an AOE as it hits the monsters, and has a chance of De-Buffing the Monsters which causes them to lower their Max HP by a -%. The Third and Most Powerful AOE Attack is the Mini-Summon Ghost attack which is an AOE and hits 2-3 times and does a lot of Damage. Though all the Attacks are AOE, the range for them is pretty small.

Agares has an AOE Skill called Meteor. Meteor is a Very Powerful and useful skill with correct combination of other Summoner Skills. Meteor is a AOE Skill that does a lot of damage to the monsters it hits. The Range its fairly ok for the size of the AOE, and the monsters that are hit get poisoned (need to confirm). But what makes Meteor so important and useful is the fact that any monster within the Green Smoky Gases of the Attack will take 3x Poison Damage. So Timed Correctly with a Palpus + Posion Sword + Meteor + 15% Poison Damage = ALOT of Damage being done to the Monster(s). This skill can also make PvPing a lot easier to win, but unfortunately you need to being up the Skill Bar before being able to use the Great Skill.

Agares’s Meteor and High Damage Attacks makes him ideal for Large Parties, Dead Fronts, and Dungeons Runs where Lots of Damage is needed. He isn’t exactly Great for Bosses unless there are lots of Tankers, but even so he can die pretty fast in a Boss Fight. Agares isn’t recomended for Summoners who Solo at High Level Maps as after a few Mobs Agares usually dies, meaning you need to Resummon. Instead Agares is best in Large Parties so that most of the damage taken isn’t mostly all done to Agares. Because of Agares’ High Attack he is best suited for PvP rather than PvE, but as long as its a Large Party Agares can be very useful, but not for Soloing PvE.

9 - Types of Stat Builds:

People are Always Wondering what Stats they should Pump on a Summoner. First thing that I will say and pretty much all Summoners can Agree with, is that you don’t NEED Dex, so Don’t waste Stat Points Pumping Dex. Now to get on more specifically what you can Pump.

Generally there are 3 Broad Types of Stat Builds to go with, which is a Heal Build, a Strength Build, and a Balanced Build.

Heal Build:

This is a Very Common and Considered Most Effective Build by many Summoners. This Build is very simple as it is simply Add the Minimum Required Strength and Spirit for your Next Twin Blade and Put the Rest of your Points into Heal. This Build consists of Mostly Def and HP so you Stay Alive Longer, and the Damage is fairly okay.

Strength Build:

This is not as Common as a Heal Build, but provides High Out Put of Damage, at the cost of Def and HP. Most Strength Builds Consist of Pumping Stats of a 4:1 Ratio meaning Each Level Pump 4 Strength and 1 Heal. Though you will be able to do a good amount of Damage, you risk Dying Very Fast at Higher Level Maps With this Build because of the Lack of Def and HP will cause you to easily get Knocked Back and Lose HP Fast resulting in dying. If anything this Build is only good for Low Levels where the Damage isn’t as bad, but I wouldn’t Recommend using this Build when you are at Higher Levels.

Balanced Build:

This Build I will Later Go more into Detail on as I use this Build, and find it to be the most Effective Build. Balanced Build means you Have the Required Spirit for you next Twin Blades. But your Strength and Heal don’t Differ to much. Unlike the Last 2 Builds where either Heal is all you care about, or Strength is, in a Balanced Build you focus on the Situation you have at hand and determine how Much Heal or Strength you Feel is Fit to be Successful in Leveling. This doesn’t mean you need to put Directly the Equal Number of Stat Points in Strength as in Heal (though some people literally do this), but instead you Pump Both Stats fairly equally so they aren’t to far off.

10 - Using a Balanced Stat Build:

As previously Stated, when using this type of Build people tend to do what they want based on the Situation they have at hand to determine how much Heal or Strength they want. A major note that is important though, is that I would Recommend is that even with using this Build I would Cap your Strength at 200-220 Range. It may seem I go over that in the following Explanation, but sorry thats just cause I didn’t do the actual math out for what it will look like since I typed it just thinking logically. I recommend Capping your Strength around 200-220 because anything more than that isn’t really effective/useful as you do fairly good Damage, but those extra points will not really help you with Def, but will significantly give you More HP which means you can take more hits. For people who want to know what I did, where is roughly about what I did and what I would Recommend.

Levels 1-34:

Mostly At these Levels you are going to want to pump a 3:2 and 4:1 Ratio of Strength:Heal for Stat Points, but occasionally throw in a few 2:3 Strengths:Heal if you want.

Levels 35-54:

From here you are mostly Going to switch Back and Forth between a 3:2 and a 2:3 Ratio Stat Build. I recommend 2:3 at first so you survive Longer in the 34 Dungeon to Gain more Levels, and then maybe start Pumping 3:2 Ratio.

Levels 55-64:

These Levels are when you first get into Crespo and the Monsters can hit Pretty Hard when you first go there. I mostly Recommend using a 2:3 Ratio Stat Build for this Area just until you fully get going and feel you are comfortable, but feel free to randomly throw in a 3:2 if you want.

Levels 65-79:

From here you can go back to Alternating Between 3:2 and 2:3 Ratio Stat Builds because Crespo Dungeons Should be getting easier for you, but if you want focus on 2:3 first if it helps, but Draco shouldn’t be to bad and some good damage is always nice.

Levels 80-95:

Here is where you first go into Python and Avalon when you get to 85. A lot of your Leveling will be done mostly in Python, Crespo A, or Avalon from the 80s to 90s. At this Level Range I would Recommend Alternating Pumping a 2:3 Ratio Stat Build and a 3:2 Ratio Stat Build. If you want more of the 3:2 Ratio Stat Builds around Levels 90-95s so that the extra Damage may help you in the 90 DPs.

Levels 95-104:

At this Level Range most of your Leveling will be done in Avalon, Earl Dead Fronts, or 90 DPs. I recommend using a 3:2 Ratio Stat Build, but occasionally a 2:3 Ratio Stat Build if you feel you need some more Def and HP to survive. The Extra Damage will help in Killing Monsters in both the 90 DP faster as well as KSing in Dead Fronts.

Levels 105-114:

At This Point in the Game you are going to be training mostly in 90 DP As, and the Cursed/Doomed Maze. Maze Monsters Hit REALLY Hard Compared to any other Mobs you may have fought against, though the closest would be Monsters in Oread. These Monsters not only Hit Hard, but they Knock Back meaning it can be even Harder for you to Kill them if you get your Skills Interrupted. At this Level Range I recommend Using a 1:4 Ratio Stat Build and Occasionally a 2:3 Ratio Stat Build if you haven’t Capped you Strength at 200-220 yet. Maze and Duke Dead Fronts will Require a lot of Def and HP to stay alive. Trust me, dying in Maze without a Seg can suck because it Sucks having to run all the way back there.

Levels 115-129:

Once you finally get to 115, you are going to be in for a surprise as Aqua has monsters that can hit just as Hard as Maze Monsters, and some Even Harder. Hp and Def is Very Important at this Level Range. I mostly Recommend a Ratio Build of a 0:5 Ratio Stat Build in the Start because you will need all the help you can get, or occasionally a 1:4 if somehow by now you haven’t Capped your Strength at 200-220. Occasionally towards the later Levels in this Level Range you can alternate between the 1:4 and 0:5 Ratio Stat Build, and occasionally you can randomly throw in a few 2:3 Ratio Stat Build if you think you are Surviving and Leveling Fine and don’t think you need all that Def/HP.

Levels 131-X:

I really Haven’t gotten this far to know from experience what things will be like for Ark Dead Front or the 130+ Maps so I’m Sorry but I can’t comment Much about this Situation, BUT I’ve heard the Monsters there tend to hit Really Hard so I’d probably would just stick with a 0:5 Ratio Stat Build and maybe a few 1:4 Ratio Stat Build Depending on when I finally can Level there without taking to much damage.

11 - Information on Armor:

For the most Part this Section is Pretty Simple. Use the Armor you can when you get to the Required Level to Wear the Armor. The Higher Level Armor, the more Def meaning you can survive Longer. For the Best Armor, get a Helm and Armor that are Fully Slotted with 4 Slots. Gems you use in them can help you Survive even more. When it comes to what Level Gear Should be +’ed thats really up to you. Personally around Level 6x Armor and Up you can Start to + a few of your Gears, but Nothing Past +3. For the Level 9x and the 10x Armor Set I really Recommend having At Least a +4 or Higher Armor Set. At the 115 Armor Set I would have at least a +5/6 if you can. Really I would Recommend a full +7 Set but that is pretty hard to get, SO at least a +6 if you can, because even with a +7 Set you are Still Going to Take A LOT of Damage From Higher Level Monsters (trust me I know). Sorry I can’t Comment Much about the 130 Set, but I’d Recommend at least a +6 or +7 or Higher Set. If you are going to use a Balanced Build take into consideration both your Upgraded Armor and Weapons into the equation to help you figure out what you feel is best for your Stats (whether it maybe more Strength or more Heal).

12 - Information on Legendary Armor:

Each Class has 3 Sets of Armor that Each Piece Gives a good amount of Stat Bonuses. These sets are Known as Legendary Armor Sets. Legendary Armor unfortunately can’t be slotted for the Helm and Armor (unless that is changed in later patches). This being said the only major Legendary Armor that is useful is the Pants, Boots, and Gloves. I personally Never used L1 or L2 Armor because I never wanted to bother to find them or waste money Buying them. Instead the only Legendary Armor worth Getting is L3 Armor. Now out of the L3 Armor the L3 Pants, Gloves, and Boots are all Great to Have. Personally I Used +6 L3 Gloves and Pants. I still use my L3 Gloves as they really are End Game Gloved based on the Damage they Give. But with +6 L3 Pants I was able to keep and use them ALL the way to Level 114 until I got my 114 Pants (just so you know thats Almost 30 Levels with those Pants I think?). The Def of a L3 Pants isn’t that much less than the 100 Pants +6. Normally I would use L3 Boots as well, but I find that 102 Boots at +7 Give More Def than +7 L3 Boots. Yes they may have Less other Stats/Block Rate (this small change btw is kinda useless for Summoners) than L3 Boots at +7, but if you aren’t Buying +7 L3 Boots (expensive btw) its a lot cheaper to TRY to +7 your own 102 Boots than it is to +7 a L3 Boots, and if you fail at those you lose A LOT more money on those L3 Boots (possibly from buying at high price or ur possibility of selling them) than you would for 102 Boots. L3 Gloves really are End Game Gear Based on the Amount of Damage (amazing the large amount given to Summoners of all Classes) that they Give and out of any L3 that you really ever should really have is L3 Gloves.

13 - Information on Resistance Armor Sets:

When it comes to Elemental Resistances, they are all important at some point in the game, just deciding when and how they are used is important. Most of the Elemental Resistance Sets will be made using the Level 90 Armor/Helmet Pieces (so stock up on Full Slotted Level 9x Armors/Helms). To start you need to have Dark Eye. A KEY and important Necklace that gives 15% Elemental Resistance to all Elements (or even 17% if you get the upgrade). I recommend having +6 Pants at least at Higher Levels so thats 5% more right there. So for normal PvE you already have 20% Resistance in all Elements (even more if you have Magical/Noble/Divine Gear).

When it comes to Resistance Sets, if I recommend using a Level 92 Helmet, that would mean 4×9% being 36% and then that + the 20% and thats right there is just 56% Elemental Resistance for that one Element. The Max you can have is 75%. So just by using 2 Level 100 Res Necklace of the same Element, and you will have the 75% Resistance, if not 70-75% is still good range.

Curse Resistance Armor Set:

This is Probably the First Elemental Resistance Armor Set that you will make. Once you hit Level 90 you can do the Level 90 Crevice Dungeon. If you want to to even get in a Party you will need a Curse Resistance Set for Round 10. At Level 90 I wasn’t able to use the Helm/Armor parts from the Level 90 Armor Set. So what I did was use a Level 70 helm and just Put 8/9% Curse Res Gems in that Helm. Then at Level 91 I used a Curse Res Level 91 Armor Piece so I have the full 75% Curse Resistance. Until Level 91 just use some Curse Res Necklaces + that Curse Res Helm to do your best to Survive Level 90 DP B if u get in a Party.

Poison Resistance Armor Set

This is probably the second Elemental Resistance Armor Set you are going to make. I made this using 8/9% Poison Resistance Gems in a Level 91 Armor and a Level 92 Helmet. I used and made these Armor Sets mostly for the Dead Front Boss, Allowing me to Tank, since its only Curse Attack is the one that Stops Skills (in which case I just run away and Heal till I can Attack Again).

Fire Resistance Armor Set:

This is the 3rd Armor Set I made for the Lava Mini-Boss in Dead Front. I would recommend only using a Level 91 Helmet and using 4×9% Fire Res Gems in the helm and use some Fire Res Necklaces, because you will also need Defense. This combination not only will be used for the Lava Mini-Boss, but for Fanvil when you fight him at Level 100 (or more than once if you farm him etc.)

Ice Resistance Armor Set:

This Armor Set is what I made next. Mostly for Abyss, but this is also important because it can be used for PvE. Once you get to Level 115 you should have a Ice Resistance Gear. I would use a Level 91 Armor with 4×9% Ice Res Gems. Once in Aqaurious you can use a Curse Helm+Ice Armor Res gear to EASILY Solo Grind on the first weak monsters as soon as you enter the Map. I recommend using an Ice Armor Res because you need both Fire and Ice Res sometimes for some Bosses in the Level 115 Abyss Dungeon. Now you can use an Ice Helm and Fire Armor Res gear, but I recommend using a Fire Res Helm and Ice Res Armor because using the Fire Res Helm is needed for Bosses were you need a lot of Defense (you get more Defense from your Normal Def Armor Gear than a Helmet).

The only Bosses that you Need Ice Res for though is Tritone and Illpia, but in both cases I would probably have just made a Level 92 Ice Res Helm for Defense, but if you can really only afford one, make an Armor unless you don’t intend on doing Abyss, but if you can both an Ice Res Helmet and Armor are good to have, but you don’t need both at once.

Lightning Resistance Armor Set:

I would make this set Last, as it really isn’t as important as the other Armor Res Sets. You mostly need Lightning Res for the Abyss Dungeon Bosses. You may Need it for Higher Level Maps 130+ Maps but I haven’t gotten this far, but for reference, this isn’t really as important, though its still needed if you want to do the Level 115 Abyss Dungeon.

14 - Information on Weapons for TB Hybirds:

For the Twin Blade Part of this I guess its really easy and not needed, but I’ll include it anyways. When you reach the next Level to be able to use your New Twin Blades USE THEM. Slotted Twin Blades always Helps (because you can add Damage Gems to them to do more damage). More Importantly what Staff do you Use? At Level 52 Most Summoners Decide they want to go Hybird then for Summon Ghost. If you want to go Hybird at Level 52, I would use a Level 18 Staff and make sure you add +2 More Spirit than the Required Level 54 Twin Blades. This is needed to use the Level 18 Staff (47 Spirit so you Know). When you Hit Level 78 You will Have Enough Spirit to use the Level 24 Staff, which I recommend you to get and use (if you want to go Hybird at Level 74 make sure you have enough Spirit for your Level 24 Staff since you will need to Pump Spirit Later anyways for your Twin Blades). Later on as you get Higher Level you will be able to use the Level 30 Staff and then Later the Level 36 Staff Based on the Spirit Required for your Twin Blades, and again do the same and just get and use them.

When it comes to Hybird Low Level Staffs, they are going to be weak, so lets face it. What you CAN do to help better your Situation is by Farming a Divine-Noble or a Noble Staff. You can Farm the Level 18 and 24 Staffs by Separate Weak Bosses in the Corners of Loa (can’t Remember if this includes Braiken also). As for the Level 30 and 36 Staffs and up, I think only good Level 30 and 36 Weapons can only be dropped by Monsters around those Levels, or possibly the Parca Bosses (but very low chance). Given that these are Low Level Staffs, with crappy gems the Success Rate is Pretty High and Cheap to Socket them which also makes it easier on us.

Sorry but since I don’t know the exact Stats of a 130 Twin Blade I can’t Remember if you ever need a Level 36 Staff, maybe you do? but I can’t remember off the Top of my Head while at work. But for the Most Part if you are going a TB Hybird and you want to know what is the Highest Level Staff (for some people who just want to pump all their Spirit now and Use that Staff) I think it is either the Level 36 or 42, but I’m not 100% on the Level 42 Staff (Level 36 I know you will use).

If you wonder why I don’t use a Higher Level Staff or really Recommend it is because really Palpus doesn’t do a ton of damage where mostly it is used for the De-Buff, and Hell Burst I rarely use anyways because as a TB Hybird it is a Weak Skill. At Staff Hybird gets no Bonus De-Buffs for using either TB Cosmos where both of them are just entirely Damage, meaning that if they were to use them to do as much Damage as they can they might want a Higher Level Twin Blades (might not saying 100% of them would etc.).

15 - Information on Argating Weapons:

For the most part I’m sure we all know that the Higher the + the Weapon is, the Better because of more Damage. For Low Level Twin Blades all the way up to the Level 72/78 Twin Blades you really only Need to +3 them at Most if you want. For the Level 85 and 95 Twin Blades they really should be at least +4 or +5 if you can. As for the Level 105 Twin Blades try having at least a +6 Twin Blade. For Level 115 it would be nice to have a +7 Twin Blade (hell ino I coulda used one), but lets face it, its not as realistic to make a +7 Twin Blade like its nothing SO at least try to get a +6 Level 115 Twin Blade if you can’t get a +7 or Higher One. As for the Level 130 Twin Blade. Its your Last Twin Blade so the Higher the + the Better, but it will be hard of course but anything above a +7 Always Helps.

When it comes to TB Hybird Staffs, yes it would be nice to have a +9 Staff to do the most Magical Damage you could do, but thinking realistically that isn’t likely to happen, nor is a +7. To Save money really all you need is a +3 or +4 Staff. Anything Higher than that is wasting money if you are going to Risk Argating the Staff because those few extra Upgrades don’t significantly add more Magic Damage to those Low Level Staffs so its not so bad just with a +3 or +4 TB Hybird Staff if you want.

For the Most Part the Higher the Weapon is Upgraded the better, but try your luck, and if you are fine with w/e Upgraded Weapon you have you can just stick with it if you want. Really its up to the user to decide if they want to have a +7 Weapon or if they are just content with a +4 Weapon.

The Lower the Upgrade on a Weapon, the more Strength you might want to consider Putting in more Stat Points into Strength. If you remember I mentioned earlier how I capped my Strength around 200-220, this is what it was intended for. If you end up with a Low Upgraded Weapon you might want to consider being closer towards the 220 Strength to make up for it, and if you end up with a nice +7 or Higher Twin Blade focusing on Heal may be better since you have get some of the Damage Out-Put now from your Twin Blade. If you are going to use a Balanced Build take into consideration both your Upgraded Weapons and Armor into the equation to help you figure out what you feel is best for your Stats (whether it maybe more Strength or more Heal).

16 - Information on Gems to use for Armor:

For the most part, people are probably going to just say use Medials. BUT this isn’t always the Best Thing to Use. For Early Levels, for all Armor before the Level 4x Set I would actually Recommend Using +HP Gems (which are easier to get now form Arkis). At Low Levels if you have Slotted Armor Use +HP Gems because the small amount of +Def is really insignificant at Lower Levels, AND it won’t help at all against Magical Attacks, But with more HP you will at least be able to take more Hits from Monsters at Lower Levels.

For Levels 4x to about the 6x Set I would use +18 or +21 Def Medials, if you have Slotted Armor. For the 7x/8x Armor Set You Really Need to use +21 Def Medials, and or the 9x Armor Set you can use either +21 or +25 Def Medials (though preferably +25 but +21s aren’t that bad). For the Level 10x Set and the 115 Set you Really Should be Using +25 Def Medials (maybe some +29s if you want in the 115 Set, though selling probably is better idea). For the 130 Set its Clear either +25 Medial or +29 Medials if you can get them (preferably +29 Def Medials or Higher if you Have the Money).

17 - Information on Gems to use for Weapons:

When it comes to Twin Blades the main Important Gems to use are Rhombuses and Poison % Damage Gems. At lower Levels Rhombuses are they way to go. At Lower Levels + Damage Rhombuses are better because you can use all the Damage you can get, and at Lower Levels the % Damage Gems are useless if you have Low Damage. I would Recommend Using + Damage Rhombuses for your Level 60 Twin Blades and for all Lower Twin Blades if you happen to get any of them Slotted. For all Higher Twin Blades you really want to start Using Poison % Damage Gems. For your Level 66, 72, and 78 Twin Blades I would use at least 3-4% Poison Damage Gems in those Twin Blades. For Level 85 Twin Blades and High you Really should be using 5% Poison Damage Gems (possibly 4% for those Level 85 Twin Blades but anything Higher should be 5%). At Higher Levels I know ever since 2moons started to suck, 5%s are hard to get, and now a days prices are high, but I still would recommend using 5%. If you are wondering why I would use Poison Gems, its because some of Summoner’s Attacks are Poison Based, and based on Buffs/De-Buffs the more Poison Damage the Better (it especially helps when not many Monsters have Poison Res at Higher Levels).

When it comes down to what Gems to use in your Hybird Staffs I would recommend using +40 Magic Damage Gems, or +44s if you can get them or afford them. Some people think it makes sense to use Poison % Damage Gems, but its really a waste when you think of it based on numbers. Having a % of a small number really doesn’t give you much more Magic Damage, so its not worth using Poison % Damage Gems when you can directly add more Magic Damage from Gems.

18 - Information on Rings/Necklaces:

For the most Part The major Question is what do I use as a Summoner? Damage Rings or Def Rings? There is a lot of options when it comes to accessories like rings or necklaces but here is what I would recommend using. At Lower Levels use w/e you can get from Arkis, preferably Necklaces that add +HP or Rings that do +Damage. By the time you get to Level 36 and get Aldebaran, I would recommend killing the Final Spider Boss at the end of the Level 34 Dungeon and getting the Ring she Drops. The Ring Adds Poison Damage (useful for Summoners), HP, and MP. Towards around Level 50 and up you are going to want to use Defense Necklaces, and either keep that Level 34 Dungeon Ring, or use another Personal Item from Arkis (I don’t recommend using 4 Def Necklaces because its kinda useless that one extra necklace, and its good to get use to using 1 Personal Item and then 3 Def Necklaces). Once you get Level 85 you get a Quest that gives you ONE OF THE BEST Necklaces you can get in game being Dark Eye. Unless you bought this at a Lower Level (though its not as important then), you should be able to get this Amazing Item from a Level 85 Quest. Dark Eye adds 15% to all Elemental Resistance, but not Physical (or even 17% if u upgrade using a Crespo Traded upgrade Item). Dark Eye really is an end game Necklace I highly would use till the End of the Game unless you really find something better, but for Summoners and most other Classes Dark Eye is very useful and important.Besides using Dark Eye I would highly recommend using the 3 Current Level Defense Necklace if you can find or buy them.

Some People may want to use Ring of the Black Dragon, but if anything this is a Ring that should be worn at Lower Levels as it really isn’t as useful at higher Levels. Anything about Level 85 should use a Dark Eye Necklace and not the Ring of the Black Dragon.

19 - Difference Between Damage Rings and Poison Damage Rings:

For the most part this is a question and commonly asked. TB Summoners use both Physical and Poison Damage Attacks (mainly Poison Sword + Poison % Damage Gems). Now depending on the Situation at hand, sometimes Damage Rings are Needed, and sometimes Poison Damage Gems are Needed. At Level 115 I have both 3 Level 110 Poison Damage Rings and Damage Rings, and Depending on when I do use both of them.

Damage Rings:

Damage Rings add the Actually Damage #+ to your Damage. This is very useful at times when you are given a Situation where the Boss or Monster May have High Poison Resistance. For the most part I use Damage Rings when I PvP Mages, Bagis and Segnales. Mages Bagis already have Resistance Buffs, and against a Segnale or Mage, Magic/Curse damage could care less if you have Defense Necklaces. All they do is give about 1-2k more Sheild, when instead you could get some good Damage Out-Put from Damage Rings instead (considering a Bagi usually–unless they are +7 or Higher Weapons–don’t hit TOO Hard).

If the Monsters for the Most Part don’t hit to hard that you don’t NEED to really use the Def Necklaces, feel free to use the Damage Rings. One Example of this is when I’m in Python just helping a friend or messing around killing monsters. To kill them Faster I use Damage Rings, and I know they has Poison Resistance so using Damage Rings makes more sense.

For the most part if u come across a similar situation where you find you don’t know if the Monster has Poison Resistance or not, just go with Damage Gems to be safe as long as you don’t NEED to use Def Necklaces.

Poison Damage Rings:

At times Poison Damage Rings can be more useful than using Damage Rings. This is very useful at times when you are given a Situation where the Boss or Monster May have High Defense but not Much Resistance. For the most part I use Poison Damage Rings when I fight AKs. I do this because with their High Defense that extra Damage Rings don’t do much good, and neither will that 1k Shield from those Def Necklaces. Instead since I know they don’t have many Resistance Buffs, I try to use Poison Damage Gems and hope I can kill them.

When it comes to Monsters and Bosses, there are some Monsters or Bosses that just have Defense and thats it. Damage Rings would be ok if you wanted, but I have personally Tested and the Poison Damage Gems do more Damage Rings. A few Monsters I tested this on was in Avalon, it was the Pirates and those Red Apes in the elevated/middle part of the Island. I was in the 100-110 Stage Farming Earls, and this is when I noticed the difference in Damages, as at these Levels I didn’t really need those Def Necklaces as much.

Unless you really know if the Monster is Strictly Defense and not any Poison Resistance, I would recommend using Damage Rings just because it ensures you get more Damage if you need it, but if you know a Monster/Boss is all Defense and you think you don’t need the Defense Necklaces I would use the Poison Damage Rings.

20 - Dungeons and Summoners:

Dungeons are a Major Part or 2moons and for Leveling. To start I don’t intend on talking about the Newbie Dungeon at all, because its not Needed, nor that much better than play Grinding on Weak Monsters at Lower Levels. The Major Dungeons though are the Level 34 Nunvice Dungeon, the Level 60 Crespo Dungeon, the Level 90 Crevice Dungeon, and the Level 115 Crevice Abyss Dungeon. Unfortunately I never did the Guide Siege Request Dungeon to comment on that so I can’t.

Level 34 Nunvice Dungeon

For the most Part this is Actually where Summoners Shine. Unlike other Classes we can Lure 6 Monsters towards the Higher Level Range when you still do this Dungeon. On top of that, what makes Summoners Special is that we have Summons. For the most part Summoners can finish the Level 34 Dungeon the Easiest. We may not have AOEs yes, but with Summons we can Effectively use them and Tank Monsters to help Keep us Alive, and Blood Bats also helps. On top of Summons as TB Summoners we kill things pretty fast anyways. Unlike other Classes once you get Aldebaran at Level 36 we can Kill the Spider Queen Boss mostly by using Alde to tank her.

Level 60 Crespo Dungeon C, B, and A:

When it comes to Crespo Dungeons, it kinda sux because no one really wants Summoners. Mages and Hunters are DDs; Segnales Heal; and AKs and Bagis are the Tankers that Lure at the Coffins. So this leave Summoners with the Ablility to Lure 6 Mobs, but thats useless here unfortunately, and even being a TB Hybird we only have 3 AOEs, and thats being nice counting Blood Bats as an AOE. But if you get into B/A Parties Don’t Screw up and Give Summoners Bad Names. Here are some Tips you can use for some of the Crespo Dungeons. First important Rule to remember, Don’t use Tent or any Summon really, they are big and get in the away at times which can upset Party Members.

Crespo C Dungeon:

This Section I’m most going to talk about Tips for when you are doing Solo C runs, or when you are doing C Runs as a Lower Level with High Levels.

If you are a Lower Level make sure you use Alderbaran on the Crespo Boss. IF there are at least 2 other Summoners, and there is a High Level Summoner, use Tentator (but thats not a likely situation). Beside that just try not to die. If you are Level 74+ just use Infected Earth, Blood Bats, Summon Ghost, and Poison Sword. If you are under Level 74 just use Blood Bats and Summon Ghost, and try not to die, and make sure you Re-Summon Alde as Soon as he dies. If Egos are Spawned they shouldn’t kill you right away so if you can with other people try to kill Egos.

If you are a Higher Level at least Over Level 87, you should be able to Solo Crespo C. I don’t really have much Tips for you guys, but Use Defense Gear/Necklaces against the Boss. He has only One Curse Attack Really so Curse Res Gear isn’t all that useful (I’ve tested only helps on that one attack). If you want you can use Curse Res Necklaces but I’d stick with Defense Still. As for Summons Use Tentator as -14% Poison Res Helps. If you are Level 108+ use Agares if you want, but without Stunning Egos will Spawn so I hope you can kill them Fast.

Crespo B Dungeon:

You are going to be doing Crespo B Fast Runs from Levels 60 - 78. When Under Level 74, you really only have Blood Bats, Summon Ghost and Blade Dance for AOEs. When it comes to Pulling Levers just Start with a Summon Ghost so by the time it hits the Mobs and they React to Start Attacking you, jyou should have switched to Twin Blades and then Cast Blade Dance. By now with your Party’s Help they should be dead, if not use a Blood Bats for HP and a Devil Swing if you want. For Coffin Parts Start by either Breaking the Coffins for your Party with Blood Bats so you have some HP help, if not just Start with Blood Bats anyways, then Follow up with a Summon Ghost. Then use Blade Dance because by now a CF should be up from your Seg or if not your Team Should be KBing the Monsters. If you are over Level 74 its pretty simple and I don’t think I need to explain it since you should be doing ok.

Crespo A Dungeon:

You probably shouldn’t be Starting Crespo A Fast Runs until Level 78-80 Range and you can Keep doing Crespo A Fast Runs about around Level 85/86 the Exp. isn’t that great. For the Most Part Keep the Strategy for Levers the same as the above from Crespo B, BUT instead of using Blood Bats use Poison Sword First, and then any Blade Dance and then Staff AOEs. Same thing applies to Coffins so you help, but don’t get jumped and DIE right away and when the Mob is being KBed you can use AOEs to help kill fast.

Level 90 Crevice Dungeon C, B, and A:

Crevice C Dungeon:

Okay, really who the hell does C Runs? I’m not even going to waste my time/space trying to talk about a useless Dungeon that no one does.

Skill Line-Up for Crevice B/A Dungeons:

Under Level 97 the AOEs you have: Summon Ghost, Blade Dance, Poison Sword, Infected Earth, Hell Burst, Vicious Mirror

I recommend: Poison Sword, Blade Dance, Vicious Mirror, Poison Sword, Blade Dance, Hell Burst, Infected Earth (repeat).
For the Most Part if you need to use Summon Ghost if somehow timing its off if you run outta AOEs based on Cool Down.

Once you are Level 97 the AOEs you have: Blade Dance, Poison Sword, Hell Burst, Vicious Mirror, Palpus, Dark Avatar.

I recommend: Poison Sword, Blade Dance, Vicious Mirror, Poison Sword, Blade Dance, Dark Avatar, Poison Sword, Blade Dance, Palpus (repeat).
For the Most Part if you need to use Hell Burst if somehow timing its off if you run outta AOEs based on Cool Down.

Crevice B Dungeon:

For the most part, From Level 90-102 you are going to be doing B Dungeon Runs. Crevice Dungeons aren’t like Crespo Dungeons. Here is just High Damage and don’t get killed.

Here is how B Dungeons work:

Round 1: Segnale will CF the Yellow Spawn or the Middle Statue
Round 2: Everyone will go on Blue Spawn and Kill there
Round 3: Party Splits into 3 and 3, One Set on the Red Spawn, and One on the White
Round 4: Same Party Splits
Round 5: Same Party Splits
Round 6: All Merge on Red Spawn
Round 7: All Stay on Red Spawn
Round 8: All Stay on Red Spawn
Round 9: All Stay on Red Spawn
Round 10: All Stay on Red Spawn but use Curse Res Set

Now for the most part I would recommend going to the White Spawn as a TB/Hybird Summoner as they have mostly Magic Res so mages/Staff Summoners are better for Red Spawn. Most likely a Seg will be on White as well which is nice. DON’T Use Tent, he is nice, but REAL BIG and can be annoying. Anathema is ok, but keep him at the back, if you can’t do this well don’t use a Summon unless some1 DCs on your side. For the most part Avoid Red Spawn if you can because those Range Monsters KB like hell and with our Weak Defense we aren’t much help if we keep getting KBed.

Crevice A Dungeon:

For the most part its similar to B, but a lot faster. You don’t NEED 2 Segs btw, its nice, but you can meet in the middle every other round and Buff up then.

Here is how A Dungeons work:

Round 1: Segnale will CF the Yellow Spawn or the Middle Statue
Round 2: Everyone will go on Blue Spawn and Kill there
Round 3: Party Splits into 3 and 3, One Set on the Red Spawn, and One on the White
Round 4: Same Party Splits
Round 5: Same Party Splits
Round 6: Same Party Splits
Round 7: Same Party Splits
Round 8: Same Party Splits
Round 9: Same Party Splits
Round 10: Same Party Splits but use Curse Res Set if you are on White Spawn

Now A Runs are faster and Damage is really needed. By now you have those Kick Ass Level 97 Cosmos so it should be easier on you now (trust me I got them when I was Level 110 or so, so I didn’t get major use outta them as you guys can). Again like B I don’t recommend being on Red, thats mostly for Staff Summoners and Mages. I like White anyways cause there is a Seg, and its Easy. Towards the Higher Levels and you are still doing A Runs if you have good gear, you can use Damage Rings to help Kill Even Faster (trust me I did this and it does help). If you want you can use Anathema mostly on Round 10 because it has Curse Res and can help (BUT CONTROL YOUR PET, don’t let it get in the way of others). Once you get Agares (yes he is big but w/e), use him and keep him in the back, because with him you can pretty much just do you and a Segnale on White if you want because he RAPES.

Level 115 Abyss Dungeon:

The Abyss Dungeon is Similar to the other Crevice Dungeons with 10 Rounds, but instead each Round you Need To Kill a Boss. Once a Boss is Spawned you about about 5 minutes to kill it, if you don’t you fail the round, and while you still are killing that one Boss, the Next Boss Spawns. All Abyss have 9 Boss Rounds which are Random/Follow a Pattern, and then end in the Red Fire/Favnil Dragon for the Round 10 Boss.

First I HIGHLY Recommend going to this Link and looking it over, and USE it when you do Abyss Runs if someone else isn’t or if you didn’t Memorize it:

http://phpbb.acclaim.com/2moons/viewtopic.php?t=72158

Now Abyss Dungeons Deals ALOT with Defense Gear and Res Gear. Make sure you follow that Guide and you have the Correct Res Gear or Def Gear if needed for the Boss. As a TB Hybird Summoner most people say we aren’t as good as Staff Summoners, but I think BOTH Staff and TB Summoners both are okay for Abyss. Some Bosses have High Magic Res and some have High Def Res, SO at times both are needed and aren’t bad.

When it comes to fighting Bosses where Res Sets are needed, as long as you have 75% Res, or at least 65/70%+ Res you can pretty much tank those Bosses, especially with an AK with Bounce Defender, so don’t worry about it. When it comes to Defense Monsters, some are ok where they don’t hurt as much and you can Tank them, some you might die fast, so just pay attention the first few times so you know what to do.

Just so you know, I HATE THE OREAD BOSS in Abyss. He is ANNOYING AS HELL. Oread has high Defense, and Hurts like HELL and hits Physical so its Defense Set. As a TB Hybird Summoner, when it comes to this Boss mostly focus on Poison Swords (Hit and Run), and a few DAs and maybe Vicious Mirrors. Now assuming at times those TB Cosmos will be on cool down, keep up the Hit and Run with Poison Sword, and then Follow up with some Staff Cosmos with the Poison Sword Buff for more damage.

When it comes to Pets though, its not ALWAYS Muspel cause he can Tank, or Agares because he hits the Hardest. Abyss is like any other Dungeon, its a Party Dungeon, meaning do what you can to HELP the Party. For the Most Part you are going to Cycle through Muspel/Agares/Anathema. If you are fighting a Boss with High Magic Res, use your Level 5 Anathema so that its -11% Res can help Mages out in the Party and other Party Members who are using % Elemental Damage Gems in their Weapons. When it comes to High Defense Based Monsters, you want to use Agares because he hits Harder using Magical Damage. If he dies though you Muspel as his -% Def and Stun AOE can help alot for the Bagis/Aks using Physical Damage. When it comes to Oread, use Muspel as he can Help Tank, and his -% Def and Stun AOE can help out.

For the most part when it comes to Pets in Abyss, just use the Pets that make he most logical Sense to Help he Party, High Defense Based either Agares for Magic Damage or Muspel to help Party out with -% Def. If its High Magic Res use Anathema to help Mages etc. By Level 115 Most people who are in Abyss know what they are doing, and thus usually everything goes ok and people work together (BUT even still Oread is STILL A BITCH and can COMPLETELY SCREW UP Dungeons if you get him, ESPECIALLY if you get him 1st).

2Moons Basic Str Summoner Build Guide

IMPORTANT: Please be unique and choose your specific build and do know that one build will always beat another and circulates that way. Many have rumored that summoners are pathetically weak at higher levels. This is not a guide to create a hardcore summoner, but just to give you a better idea. I am going to focus on twin sword build because that’s what I am currently using and I suggest you guys all leave feedback and try to find better builds for our class.

Leveling experiences:

Party On!:
I recently partied for awhile until my 50s than began to solo because it was actually faster and more effective for the class. If you join a party, you are more safe from PK parties and save a ton of money. You may gain slower experience depending on which mob you train at.

Keeping it to myself:
Str Summoners are one of the fastest killers on mobs. Why? We have quick attack with high knockback rate which allows us to get attacked easily. Soloing will be faster exp because you have your summon to help tank/kill mobs with you. This can be very boring and kills the enjoyment of the game! At level 80+, we become one of the top AoE characters due to our cosmo skills and quick attacks + splash damage summons.

Libio or Beast?:
There’s a big discussion about this because each summons has its own abilities which benefits you eitherway. I don’t want to discuss this as much as it is pretty obvious that it all comes down to “how you like to play”. A staff build may want to stick with Libio so they can use melee monsters to tank the hits while they stay back and vice-versa. However, Libio is a str based summons and keeping it with the twin sword build will be more effective with crits and damage. Don’t take me on my word as your stat points might not even affect your monsters and it’s all about your libio and beast masteries. If it was based on your character stats, why darn summon should be doing a ton more damage than it was 30 levels back. Put your suggestion and experience and choose what you like best suits you.

Stats distribution:

Okay here’s the basic build
Offensive build: 4str and 1 heal per level + spr requirement (usually 5 addition for the next weapon, add it last minute)
Defensive build: 3str and 2 heal per level + spr requirement (usually 5 addition for the next weapon, add it last minute)

Those are common builds and neither is mine. It is official that dex does not benefit a summoner as much as it does with health and str. The offensive build is a great start off as you will need to maximize the most damage to knockback the monsters. This will leave you more invincible to attacks while soloing. For offensive build, you slightly have a bit more health and defense but will this benefit you in any way? I honestly don’t think so because summoners have the lowest damage and defense. Your main goal in PvP is to knock them back as much as possible and kill quickly. However, at higher levels our attacks and skills does not do enough damage mess up bagis or knights.

How exactly are we suppose to PvP with those hp hungry characters? I can’t get in depth on this section yet and I would like everyone to elaborate on it a bit. I will continue testing and testing and see what helps us more effectively. I will revise this later to update on which skills benefit our build the most and what we commonly use.

2Moons Mace Guide

For all you lower lvl ak’s who have thought about going mace build for whatever reason’s id like to make somewhat of a little guide for you all just a basic outline of what would make a good pve based ak , but also able to hold your own in pvp, as i said hold your own warning to all no you will not the best pvper out there but if you play your cards right will hold your own ^^.

Ok to start off with my first suggestion, do not be like ” omg i wanna wtf pawn with my pure str rawr” because a good pve’er needs survivability and us ak’s are pretty much the best for it with our shield skills bounce defender and blind jab, so going max heal would be fitting, just enough strength and dexterity to use your current lvl weapon and rest into heal ^^.

Now For the question EVERY ak will ask someway through his career, Rhombus or % gems for your weapon. My suggestion for this is that until about 72-78 use rhombus’es because your base damage will not be that great, and after that start using % element gem’s any kind will do EXCEPT Fire do not use first sooo many mobs are fire resistant its not funny. So use Posion, Ice, Lightning, or Curse. Most ak’s tend to use Ice or Lighting tho .

For jewelry and wat to put in armour, Use Defence necklace’s at all times lol again dnt go rawr imma rape you with my damage and use damage rings the def is btter. and for EarRings i use 2x lvl 100 str earrings gives like extra 200 dmg . AND ALWAYS I REPEAT ALWAYS used medials in your armour D:.

Now for the Skill build Being a mace means that you want to be pve based, meaning that you want to focus more of being good at killing monster’s simple enough. For this you need your GOOD aoe’s maxxed as much as possible. By good aoe’s i mean that one’s that are actually worth your skill points and will keep doing nice damage throughout your level’s. Examples of bad Aoe’s are Whirlwind the 2 hit wonder tiny damage and tiny damage area :/ not worth your points and definately not needed being mace you wont even have space for it on your skill bar. Another example is the 1 hit wonder Jumping crash our first AoE the one to help us at the START and that is where it stays again tiny damage tiny radius not worth a macer’s point.

Descriptions of Ak’s Skills To do with a Mace Ak’s Need’s: BUILD Mace Shield/ 2h Mace

Mace Mastery: Pretty much a no-brainer to maxx this out boosting your damage with a mace by 30% when maxxed

Mace Bash lvl 7: hmm this is our lvl 7 skill lol do not lvl this is up nothing else to it

Armour Breaker lvl 27: i personally like this skill its 1 hit wonder yes and not an aoe, BUT it also does decent 1v1 dmg, and when maxxed decrease’s there defence by 17% when maxxed. and has a chance to stun. But it is not a must you decide if you do or do not want this skill lvled up.

Heavy Blow lvl 51: I love this skill, 2 hit aoe with a nice radius and nice dmg when maxxed, and VERY quick cooldown time of 6 seconds AND AoE stun on all mobs it hits ^^, what could be better for pve aoe stun every 6 seconds? definately Maxx this as much as you can for your lvl.

Solar Evil lvl 80:This is our lvl 80 skill, 4 hit aoe with a very sexy Animation, Does good aoe dmg and has a chance to stun each hit. Again Maxx Whenever you can.

Strength lvl 10: +15% max hp, MAXX IT !!!!!!!!!!

Jumping Crash lvl 15: No lol do not want for mace your better this *slaps*

Whirlwind lvl 36: Again dnt even think about it your a macer now *slaps*

Soulknight lvl 64: One of the most recognised AK skills Nice dmg and AoE range, Maxx it whenever u can ^^ .

Divide Spear lvl 97: Our new skill  looks cool, and Does nice damage and Aoe Range again maxx whenever u can .

Agility lvl 10: hmm to be honest i see no use in it lol, never have but some like to maxx it iono +5% block rate didnt really do much for me but your choice for this one.

Wind Rush lvl 20: We got a speed buff use it. maxx when you can.

Attack Excelleration lvl 30: ahh us ak’s really got blessed with this skill, +44% critical rate, +15% attack, and +19% attack speed ( for normal attacks only :/) Its a must maxx when you can.

Strengthen Health lvl 25: This is Skill is meh, +250 hp for ten seconds its cool that we got a hp regen skill, but it kinda fails esp at high level. But you can maxx if you really want i believe waste of points tho.

Insensebility lvl 45: Our Rage against the machine skill, we become a terminator nothing can kb us >: D, great for pvp and helps in pve so maxx whenever u can ^^.

Shield Mastery lvl 16: Give us more defence when we use our shield, but im pretty sure its glitched because ive heard a lot that lvl 5 doesnt add anymore than lvl 4, but anyways lvl as much as you can.

Shield Shove lvl 29: No you do not need as a mace ak lol *slaps* do not touch leave lvl 1

Blind Jab lvl 51: OUR UBER TANK SKILL, this thing is godly +80% defence for 4.5 seconds awesome for pve tanking bosses and such and pvping, BUT i say leave at lvl 1 because the Defence increase does not increase from lvl 1-10 and your going for pve right? so leave those points for aoe’s.

Bounce Defender lvl 91: another reason why we are the best of the best in tanking, A 3 hit strong aoe with party buff at the end for 16 seconds, which gives up to 75% immunity to monster’s, But it does not help against other player’s. Your party and you will love you for it, Maxx whenever you can.

2h mastery lvl 18: +75 defence when your using your 2h mace yes maxx it people.

Triple Attack lvl 29: Very bad aoe a macer does not need this skill lol, leave it for other ak’s to use

Beserk lvl 51: Some love it for its damage buff and its physical damage adn also its single target stun. But some hate it for its slow animation time. But personally i say maxx it its a good aoe and good damage mine atm with my +0 lvl 105 2h mace does about 5.2k-5.5k each hit so it does do nice damage.

GENOCIDE lvl 91: this skill is really worth the wait, by far an ak’s hardest hitting skill and most of an AOE :O, its godly huge damage big radius and defence debuff. Great pve and pvp although the first 2h are avoidable but our stun make’s up for that ^^ >: D. Maxx Whenever u can.

Here’s an example of a good pve based Mace skill Build at 109: (the one i have right now xD) Mace shield/ 2h Mace.

And also if some mace knights are wondering ” Oh All these greats and skills But where to put on my Skill bar hmm *scratches Head”. The best option is a pvp bar and a pve bar. instead of just listing then ill just post s/s of them lol the ones that i use and they work well.

This my pvp Bar

And This is my Pve bar

PVP Section

As i warned earlier you will NOT be the best pvper out their sad but true. But if you play your cards right you can hold your own against other classes and other ak’s. First some Pro’s and con’s about mace’s in pvp. Im gonna be honest lol.

Pro’s.
1. Stun’s Stun’s Stun’s Great against hunter’s Keep them in place.
2. Defence Debuffing we have two skills that can decrease our enemie’s defence
3. Ive heard People Call us the “Crowd Control” fitting now >: D Damage and stun whole groups of your enemie’s Definately a great help in group pvp/pk situation’s.
4. Suprise lol A lot of people will not expect you to be as good as you seemingly ” Taking you for a fool”. and Also a lot of people do not even know what mace skills look like or do. i cant remember how many times someone has asked me to do heavy blow or solar evil.
5. Damage our great pve damage does cross over somewhat into the pvp realm we do decent damage not the best tho but decent.

Con’s
1. Slow animation time. a few of our skills are not the fastest to be completed.
2. Defence, our defence cannot get quite as high as other builds, such as sword with their sword defence.
3. Our skills were not made for the soul purpose of using them on other player’s remember that. they will do “OMG WTFFFFBBQ DAMAGE”
4. We dnt have the most hp or shield compared to other builds, so u will have to be a bit more stragetic to overcome foe’s.
5. Mace is a very easy build to absolutely fail in pvp with if u dnt know what your doing.

Now on to strageties:

NOTICE THIS SECTION IS FAR FROM DONE WILL ADD TO IT WHEN I GET THE INFO ^_^.

Every class need’s a different stragety to overcome dnt just think you pull out ur big 2h and expect to wtfpawn them with your damage there’s more to it then that. Also you need to be able to switch weapon’s fast in pvp’s or as a mace ak your dead. :/ And USE INSENSE FOR EVERY PVP ITS INVALUABLE!!!!

Class Strageties:

TwinSword Summoner’s:
Hmm I would have to say one of the easier classes but if they know what their doing it can be a hard fight. Now this is the lineup i suggest to use against a summy remember u have to do weapon switches very fast. All their skills are Physical based, which means that blind jab works a charm in helping you to tank them. but when bj runs out they will hit you hard. So using Blind jab as much as possible is a must. here’s a example lineup.

Blind>Bounce><color>Geno<color>Blind<color>Armour Breaker>SolarEvil<color>Blind><color>ArmourBreaker>DivideSpear. And after that they should be dead or close to but if they are still alive switch back to shield use blind again and then back to 2h and pull geno again that should do it.

Staff Summoners:
Hmm Umm i havent really pvped any yet so ill go around and pvp some staff summoner’s and work wat kinda game plan you need.

Mage’s:
These girls hit hard and all elemental damage. So Blind jab does nothing but piss them off coz our’s is lvl 1 . So basically just brute force power and kb them as much as possible they are easily kb’ed pretty much any skill will kb them. And also with mage’s The new Game mode switching system helps a lot at the start to give a little bit of an edge. its a bit tricky to master tho. you the Press Shift +z to go into A mode the countdown to the pvp. start doing bounce on the mage with 1-2 seconds left on the countdown and when the pvp start they will be hit by the rear end of Bounce making them lose target on you they will not see it coming. BUT if this ONLY works if they start the pvp next to if they run then dnt even bother with this technique. if they run press folo on the to kept close and use bounce as soon as fight starts. here’s an example. ill use them starting right next to you bounce technique as example because most mages do that.

Countdown start bounce with 1-2 Seconds left they get hit by rear end<color>Geno>Armor breaker>Solar>Divide>heavyblow>Soulknight. and not many mages could take much more then that. they should be dead ^^.

Bagi’s:
Im gonna be blunt with these Guy’s will beat u up lol. they are VERY hard for a mace knight especially, because of slow animation times. Ill try to pvp some int he next few days to atleast get some kind of idea what might work.

Hunter’s:
The kiter’s, They Will Run, We will Stun. These are the 2nd DD in the game other then mage’s. BUT key factor is that they are physical damage, and low defence and hp. So they kb easily. We have 2 things that make us deadly to hunter’s. Insensiblililty and Stun’s lots of stuns. To be honest havent pvped them that much to have a definate game plan so ill get around to pvping more ^^.

Seg’s: Basically the same as mage’s, but the difference’s that at the start they will most likely use the paralyse skill to catch u in there cf,so wat u shoudl do is set follow on them and use heavy blow just as it starts so they will not get to far  then unleash hell basically.

Other Ak’s: Basically the same as Sword summoner’s all physically damage will be a good fight ^^.

I will be adding more and to this section once i start pvping more.

Well that is basically all i can think for a mace ak, Hope its enlightened you about mace ak’s  and sorry that the pvp section isnt finished yet only got my ak back like 2 weeks ago . Anyways any question’s or just wanna talk about things feel free to post in this thread : D happy lvling for all fellow ak’s.

Most of all have fun dnt be all serious

Now Get out there and Smack Something. (old s/s xD)

But dnt end up…

2Moons Segs suck so much you have it all easy

Here is a screenshot of the transup tab of segnales.

-Top left skill is the lvl 131 transup skill, use this to transform. lasts for about 2minutes.. dun have a clue how many skill points u can put into it.

2Moons Hunter Starter Guide

Starting Out (level 1-12):

Until you hit level 12 on your hunter you will be using your bow as your only weapon. At level 12 you will buy your bow and dagger that you will keep until level 90.

Training Location: Outsite Loa/Braiken Castle/ & Lower North Morte/North Aries

Your Weapons to buy:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/stiletto.jpg ; http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/tiny.jpg

Yes, thats right you will be using the same weapon the entire time! A hunter gets the majority of their damage from the skills and not the level of weapon like most other classes. While they are wasting points into str/dex/spr to hold higher weapons you will be allocating all your stat points into gaining more hp and shield.

Stats at level 12: Str 8 Dex 18 Heal 41 Spr 3

Level 30:

Training Location: HeiHarp>Frozen Valley>Nunvice>Parca Temple

At level 34 you can now enter the Nunvice Instance Dungeon. This is the best place to train until lvl 45~50 in regards to exp per hour. At level 35 you can enter the back section of Parca Temple, good exp back there.

Level 40:

Training Location: Nunvice>Upper Frozen Valley>Norak 2nd Floor>Castor Cave 2nd Floor

Nunvice is still the best place to train until lvl 45~50 in regards to exp per hour. The second choice location is what is known as the “E Room” in Norak 2nd Floor (N2). Here is a picture of the “E Room” :

Level 50:

Training Location: Norak 2nd Floor>Castor Cave 2nd Floor>”88″ in Crespo

Continue to grind in the “E Room” until level 55. At level 55 you may now enter the Crespo Map! The best spot to train from now until level 60 will be at the location called “88.” Here is “88″ on the crespo map:

Level 60:

Training Location: Crespo Dungeon C/B runs

Now you are able to enter the Treasure of Crespo Instance Dungeon! You may now join in your first DP (Dungeon Party) This dungeon costs 300k per run and that cost is divided amongst the pt members who enter. The 300k is paid by whomever is the first to enter and all the other members drop their share once in the dungeon for the party leader to pick up. (ie 6 man pt = 50k, 5 man pt = 66k, 4 man pt = 75k)

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/crespo.gif

Crespo DP tips:

-”Fast C/B/A runs” are when the party fights through the dungeon up until the Coffin Monsters then “relogg” to get out of the dungeon. This takes about 10~15 minutes depending on your pt level and is the fastest way to get xp.

-Look for wingers or 90+ players hanging out around the dungeon, they often offer free Full C runs to lowbies while they are farming Argates. This means you get to go in dungeon for free and just watch as they run the dungeon all the while getting free xp. Remember if you are running with these high levels THEY DO NOT need your help, just stay out of the way and do not try and fight along with them. Doing so will most likely just irritate them and not offer to let you come for free again. A pt of 2 wingers can complete the dungeon in about 15 minutes if they are organized, which gives you about twice the xp in the same amount of time doing a “fast run” with a pt of players around your level.

-At level 65 try a solo C run for fun. You should be able to complete a full run by yourself with some practice. This will get you an argate and some gems so you can start saving up money for when you get high enough for the coveted T3 gloves/boots/pants in your 80’s and for a nice bow/xbow at lvl 90.

Level 70:

Training Location: Crespo DP > Draco CQs

I still recommend Crespo as the best xp until level 80, but it does get boring so we have a new map to go to at 65 which is Draco Desert. The best xp although is still in Crespo doin Fast B/A runs.

I know you can get into the Draco Desert map at level 65, but the only thing worth doing there is Commissioned Quests (CQs) and if you are only 65 you just get 1 CQ thats just a waste of time. So I recommend going to Draco at level 70 to run both the level 70 and level 75 CQs when you get high enough. Any other CQ in Draco is not worth your time or money, so do not do them.

Level 80:

Training Location: Python L1/L2

All you need to do until level 90 now is grind in Python L1/L2. Enter the map and ask if they are any slots in L1/L2 and go to whichever area has a spot open. Once you get there you will easily get the hang of things. Just follow the driver and aoe when everyone else does.

Here is a map of the two locations:

Level 89~90 Transition:

At level 90 I recommend you throw away those noob weapons and switch to a Bow/Xbow/dagger tribuild.

This is where you will be using one your free reskill and restat that you are offered. The stat reset is done by talking with Kata located in Parca Temple. The skill reset is done at your skill master in either Loa or Braiken.

Buy an inexpensive level 85 bow and xbow, no more than +5. Save your money for good level 95 weapons. You will go from 90-95 very quickly anyways.

As for your dagger, go with the highest dagger you can get while staying under the strength requirement of your xbow. Which means the level 72 dagger with the level 85 xbow/bow and the level 78 dagger with the level 95 xbow/bow.

Recommended stats at level 90: Str 38 Dex 205 Heal 214 Spr 3

Recommended Tri-build Skill Layout at level 90:

http://i539.photobucket.com/albums/ff355/Dremanora/lvl90.jpg

I know there is alot of controversy over going tribuild at level 90, but really V-Shot only needs to be at level 1 for the effect. That gives you 9 free skill points to use in dagger so you can use dead-spin. Plus you have 4 extra skill points which you can add into any of your other skills or use for fishing, like I do.

You are on your own now, good luck with the rest of your time in 2Moons.

2Moons Complete Guide for Hunters

Having grown tired of all the poor advice being given in this forum, I decided to write a guide for hunters. Here is a guide to building a Hunter that excels in both PvE and PvP.

Theory behind the Build

The point of this guide is not to build the best PVP hunter. Or the best PK hunter. Or the best PVE hunter. Its a guide that will allow you to excel at all 3, but not be the best at any of them. You will be a valued dungeon party member, able to defend yourself when people try to pk you for your levelling spot, and able to put on a good show in pvp. It is not possible to build a hunter that is the BEST at all 3 of these areas of the game. If you want to be the best in PVP, PVE or PK, this guide is not for you. If you want to have fun levelling and do so in a way that when you get into the dungeons of Crespo, and Crevice, and the FE/FW/1L/2L of Python, this guide can help make your character the best it can be.

When you first start out, you will be using a bow to level from lvl 1 until 15, when you get your first AOE, Rolling Attack, a dagger skill. At level 15 you will turn from primarily a bow hunter into primarily a dagger hunter. What does this mean for you? It means the most powerful AOE’s in the early game. It means that from an early level you will be the most powerful melee character in the game. This sounds strange that a hunter would be a melee character. But its true at the early to mid levels. From level 32 to level 60ish you will be the queen of pvp. No class should beat you in either PK or PVP and due to the massive AOE’s you can PK entire parties at or around your own level. You are the ultimate soloer. The ultimate damage delaer in AOE parties. In other words, you rock.

At around level 60, hunters hit a sort of wall. Your massive AOE’s and their high damage no longer guarantee you victory in PVP or PK. Other classes are getting better skills, better gear, and higher defense and HP. Your AOE’s are not getting much stronger. Rolling Attack and Silent Killer are maxed. Deadspin is the only dagger AOE that is still levelling. All the advantages you enjoyed from 32-60 are starting to fall by the wayside. By the time you hit 65, other classes will be competing in PVP and PK. You should still be winning most of your fights, but it will be much more difficult. Enemies won’t die quite so quickly and they start hitting you more often and much harder. By about 70, you will probably be wondering what are you doing wrong because you can’t win most of your pvp fights anymore. Stick at it, once you reach level 74 you get really competitive again. At 82, you will regain your status as the undisputed queen of PvP until 90 when Bagis get really good.

I just started a hunter. What do I do? Where do I level?

Your main weapon is a bow. Use it. You should be levelling on the white mobs in and around Loa or Braiken castles. At about level 8, venture out into North Ares or North Morte. I’m partial to the North Ares location north of Braiken Castle. There are more monsters and faster spawn rates. You should also start doing the Dungeon of Noobs. This is a low level dungeon that gives good experience and teaches you how to handle monsters that aggro. It also gives some good rewards. I got a copper from it one time and a silver another. As you level you’ll be wanting to increase your stats and add skill points. I have provided a general guide for that below. As you increase in level, keep killing the highest level monsters that are white to you. They provide the most efficient experience for you and are not too difficult to kill. You can stay in North Ares or North Morte killing lizardmen until around level 20. Yes, lizardmen are also in Denebe, but the competition for levelling spots is higher. Better off staying in N.Morte and N.Ares until around 20.

At 20ish you you can venture into Denebe and kill some of the higher level monsters there. Mantis, in particular give good xp. Or you can go into Norak or Castor Cave on the first floor. Only people there are usually bots. Monsters are easy and give good xp. At around level 24 or 25 start going into Heiharp and getting involved in AOE parties there. This teaches you how to work in a group and how to handle a lot of aggroed mobs at once. Stay in Heiharp until level 34. At level 34, you want to go to Requies Beach and the Nunvice Dungeon. This is where you should stay until level 50ish. The Nunvice dungeon provides wonderful experience and even at level 34, you should be able to complete it, unlike most other classes. The levelling from 34-50 or 55 should be some of the fastest you ever experience. I did it in about a week.

Once you hit 50, Nunvice is going to be horrible in the sense that you’ve done it for 16 levels and its gotten old and stale. You can stay there until 55 if you like, its still good xp. Or you can go to Castor2 or Norak2 and get in some AOE aprties there. When I did C2 and N2, there were no bots. It was good xp and I made a lot of friends. It was also a fun place to PK. Nowadays, the bots run both of the caves and I’m not sure whether its worthwhile going there anymore. You can easily do Nunvice until 55 and be none the worse.

At 55, you’re going to Crespo. Crespo provides hunters with a lot of levelling options. You can get in an AOE party at 88 or 130. You can AOE party the Kolaigers and Clays on the iceburg as well. Or, you can simply solo anything on the map. Most classes have difficulty soloing Crespo at lvl 55. You, as well as summoners, are the exception to the rule. You can get some really nice xp killing Kolaigers and Clays and the mobs that spawn around them. Whatever your choice, the grind from 55-60 is pretty easy for a hunter. You have the best AOE’s and high health. Do the Kolaiger and Clay commission quests. Its a nice way to get some good rewards and give yourself goals in terms of the grind. Its easier to grind when you are looking forward to finishing a quest than just killing stuff.

From 60 onwards, its the Crespo dungeon. There are 3 levels to this dungeon, A, B, and C. C is the easiest. B is the middle. And A is the hardest. As a general rule, you should do C from 60-65. B from 65-75. A from 75-90. As a hunter, you will be able to go in the more difficult dungeons earlier than other classes due to your high health and AOE’s. However, you get less xp if you go to a higher level too early. The most efficient xp is generally at the levels I indicated.

From 65 onwards, you’ll need to make some money and if you join a guild, contribute AP. Draco Desert is the place for this, although the good CQ is not available to you until you hit level 70. From 70 onwards, when you get tired of the Crespo dungeons, do some Draco CQ parties. Its decent xp, and you can make some nice money or get some good items as rewards. Its also the best place prior to Python to get vouchers for Baron DF.

At 77, you can now go to north Requies. This is a good xp spot (if not bot infested) and it has nice drops and a good drop rate. Its also a nice place to go if you’re sick of Crespo and the Draco CQ’s.

At level 80 you have another map option, Python Castle. As with all the other maps, your AOE’s make you a sought after party member, but the monsters attack a lot harder than before. Your HP has not increased that much since you got to Crespo due to stat dumping for your bow, which we’ll talk about later. The mobs hit harder, but the xp is very good. If you can find a good 1L or 2L (FE/FW for Trieste users) party, you can level very quickly. Its a grind, though. Even in 1L or 2L. This is where many characters quit. Crespo dungeon runs don’t give much xp anymore and grinding a level in an AOE party takes hours. Its incredibly difficult to level by soloing. And not much fun. Parties have now become the name of the game. If you don’t have a good guild by now, its time to start looking for one.

At level 85 you get another map, Avalon. This is where T3 items drop. These are gears that typically sell for upwards of 12 million dil. Avalon xp is not great. Certainly you’re not going to be able to reliably level here. But you can come here when you get tired of Python or when you need to farm T3’s or Earl DF vouchers.

You also get access to the middle part of Python Castle at lvl 85. Unless you are doing the Dark Eye quest, don’t bother with this section until you’re 90+. The archers and AK mobs hit VERY hard and the xp is not that much better than the Styx and Carbons in the outside of Python. The only reason to kill these mobs is farming vouchers for Earl DF, which you won’t need until 91+ anyway.

At 90 you’ll move to the Crevice dungeon in the middle of Python Castle. This is where levelling gets easy again. Remember when you started Crespo dungeons and you could get 10-15% in 1 run? Well, its back. And the loot from Crevice dungeons is wonderful. Don’t waste your time on C runs. Do a few B’s to get the hang of how it works, how the pads operate, etc. And then find some A parties. As a hunter, you’ll be the most sought after class behind segnales. You have awesome damage dealing skills perfectly suited to Crevice’s narrow corridors.

At level 95 you get access to a new map, Oread’s Tomb. The mobs here hit VERY hard and unless you’re doing the Black Dragon quest, there’s not much point in going there, except for a change of scenery. You should still be doing Crevice.

I’m only 102. This is the full extent of my map knowledge. Anything beyond this and you have to ask someone higher. Smile

When Should I Reskill?

Easy. At level 90. If you follow the skill point allocation guide below there should be no need to buy a master’s mistake or have to reskikll prior to level 90. Why level 90? Because thats when you get your main AOE, Demolition Bomb, a xbow skill. Its the only true Xbow AOE. As a result, it makes no sense to use an xbow prior to level 90. By choosing xbow over bow at pre-90 you are giving up one of the best AOE’s in the game, Triangle Shot. Don;t give away your AOE’s for a few extra damage points. Use a dagger/bow until 90. Then switch to bow/xbow or a bow/xbow/dagger tri-brid. There is a guide for that build below as well.

Stat Point Allocation

This is a stat point allocation designed to promote early dagger reliance and gradually move to a complete dagger/bow hybrid with a reskill to bow/xbow at level 90. It gives massive amounts of hp early at the expensve of dex and the ability to use a bow equal to your level. Since bow skills don’t really get good until Wonder Firing at level 74, the bow is sacrificed prior to that to focus on dagger and health. As a general rule for a dagger/bow build level 60 and under, the only important numbers are the stregth and dex requirements of the highest dagger you can use. You should allocate enough strength and dex to be able to use this weapon. All other points should go into health. Under no circumstances should you ever add any points to spirit.

You start out with a build of 3-6-3-3. You can use a level 1 bow and a level 1 dagger. At level 7, the dagger requirements are 6 strength and 11 dexterity. As you level up from 1 to 7, make sure you allocate these points, putting the rest into health. Your level 7 stat build would be 6-11-25-3. While you are doing this, you should also be equipping a bow in your 2nd weapon slot. The level bow you will be able to use will be much lower thatn your current level. Thats ok. Bows don’t really start to be really effective until around level 74 when you get Wonder Firing. The goal is to maximize your health early so you can survive the Crespo dungeons when you get in them and then start upping your dexterity so that by level 74 you will be able to use a level 60 bow and take full advantage of the bow skills that will be unlocked in the near future. Following this principle, this should be your stat allocation at each of your new weapon levels until level 60.

Level 12: 8-18-41-3
Level 18: 11-26-60-3
Level 24: 14-35-78-3
Level 30: 17-43-97-3
Level 36: 20-52-115-3
Level 42: 23-60-134-3
Level 48: 26-68-153-3
Level 54: 29-77-171-3
Level 60: 32-85-190-3

After level 60, you need to stop putting points into STR and HP and start using them in DEX to increase the level of the bow you can use. The goal is to be using a bow equal to your level by the time you get Crow Wings at level 82. That means putting points almost exclusively into dexterity for 25 levels. Another option you have is to continue dumping points into health and using your free restat at level 74 or 82 or whatever. This has the advantage of making you more survivable in the dungeon. It has a disadvantag of making you a weaker damage dealer. Your bow skills, namely triangle and wonderfiring are your primary bow AOE’s. By using a low level bow, you are hurting your damage dealing capacity, which it your main role as a hunter. You’re not a tank. Your job is to kill and kill fast.

I recommend doing the DEX dump. Its what I did and I had no problems surviving in the dungeons or in DF. More importantly, by making the bow a more important weapon, it facilitated me learning how to quickly and seamlessly transition from dagger to bow using the [tab] key. This may sound trivial, but it takes some practice to learn how to do a weapon switch and skill to recognize the proper time for it. By staying low damage low level bow, you are prolonging the time you will have to learn how to do the weapon switch. It will also create a severe shock if you dump everything into health and have to remove 2-3k hit points when you ultimately re-stat. Instead of learning how to do it in C, where a mistake can be fixed, you learn in A, where a mistake can leave your entire party dead. Here is the dex dump build:

Level 66: 32-115-190-3
Level 72: 32-145-190-3
Level 78: 32-175-190-3
Level 85: 32-205-195-3

From level 85 on, you are going to be wanting to make sure you can easily switch from dagger to Xbow at level 90. To this end, you need to up your strength stats slightly to be able to use the 85 xbow. Your two new most important numbers are as follows: Strength requirement for equal level xbow and dexterity requirement for equal level bow. Dex reqs for bows are higher than xbows. Strength reqs for xbows are higher then for bows.

The level 85 bow requires 205 dex. The level 85 xbow requies 38 strength. Since we’re not switching to xbow until level 90, getting those strength points prior to 85 are not important so long as you have them when you turn 90. Having pimped 85 weapons is not terribly important. Its a waste of resources that should be saved for your 95/105 weapon and 102 wings. This build is based on +3 or lower weapons. If you +4 your 85’s, you need to add 2 additional dex points. If you +7 them, you need an additional 4 points to dex. Plan your point allocation accordingly.

Level 86: 32-205-200-3
Level 87: 32-206-204-3
Level 88: 32-211-204-3
Level 89: 33-215-204-3
Level 90: 38-215-204-3

From 90 onwards we will make sure we have the weapon reqs for a +4 or higher bow and xbow. This requires additional dexterity than a regular +3 or lower weapon. As with the 85’s, if you plan on going to +7, add 2 additional points of dex on top of what I am reccomending.

Level 91: 38-215-209-3
Level 92: 38-220-209-3
Level 93: 38-225-209-3
Level 94: 38-230-209-3
Level 95: 42-231-209-3

Level 96: 42-231-214-3
Level 97: 42-231-219-3
Level 98: 42-231-224-3
Level 99: 42-231-229-3
Level 100 42-234-231-3
Level 101: 42-239-231-3
Level 102: 42-244-231-3

Everything beyond this point is my planned build. It allows me to use the 105 weapons +6 or lower as soon as I reach 105. If you know you are using a +7, just alter the stat allocation slightly or wait until 106.

Level 103: 42-249-231-3
Level 104: 42-254-231-3
Level 105: 46-255-231-3

Skill Point Allocation for a pre-90 Hunter (Dagger/Bow)

Fire, Slow, Piercing Shot, Guide Shot, and Poison Arrow: 0
Strike, Skull, Multiple Shot: All 1 point each due to requirement for better skills.

That is the skill build at level 89. You’ll have 2 points left over. There should be enough of a built-in point allowance that you can level each skill at the proper time. If get to a point where you have more skills to level than available points, your priority should be: Dead Spin Silent Killer, Wind Moving, Triangle Shot, Rolling Attack, Cure Wounds, Bow Mastery, Critical Fire, Explision Arrow, Crow Wings, Ice Arrow. If you do the build right there should not be a gap and you should be able to level everything on time.

Skill Point Allocation for a post-90 Hunter (Bow/XBow)

With this skill build I have 4 points remaining after I did my 102 skill increases. Having planned out my skill point allocations for the next 20 levels, I will continue to have at least 4 points remaining at any one time for the remainder of the game. With this in mind, you can invest fully in fishing, which is only really a viable option if you have an amulet. OR, you can eliminate all but 1 point of vulnerable shot and take the 13 remaining points and do a tri-brid build adding points back to some dagger skills. Primarily Deadspin. Doing this will keep you with enough points to level your skills at the appopriate times.

Combat Mastery: 1
Violent Step: 1
Rolling Attack: 1
Silent Killer: 1
Deadspin: 8

PVE Strategies

1-14: Use your bow to kill stuff at long range. Fairly easy and self-explanatory.

15-31: First AOE is a dagger AOE, Rolling Attack (RA). Violent Step (VS) followed by RA should do significant damage. Run around until your cooldown is finished and then repeat.

32-35: 32 is when you get Silent Killer (SK). This is a massively powerful AOE that causes massive damage, bleed damage (enemy loses additional hp for 10 seconds), and slows opponents briefly. Follow this up with RA. Run around until SK has cooled down and start over.

36-47: You get your first bow AOE, Triangle Shot (TS). Dagger will still be your primary weapon and main damage dealer. However, while you’re waiting for the SK cooldown, tab your weapon to bow and fire off a TS. Its an excellent filler skill to further damage the enemy instead of just running waiting for a cooldown.

48-59: At 48 you get Deadspin (DS). Deadspin is a large AOE that does significant damage. More importantly, it stuns every mob that it hits and shoots you away from them. SK, RA, DS - [tab to bow] TS [tab to dagger] SK, RA, DS, etc

60-73: At 60 you get no new skills, but will enter the crespo dungeon. Your plan of attack should change slightly. Use DS as your first skill as the mobs spawn from the coffins. Why? It stuns them meaing they can’t attack the rest of your party. This is a defensive skill more than anything else and allows your party to AOE while the mobs are spawned. Tab to bow and fire off triangle shot. Tab back to dagger and start off with the SK, DS combo. Toss in a RA when prudent. RA is not a strong AOE in dungeons, and should only be used on groups of less than 4 or 5 zombies.

74-89: At 74 you get the Wonder Firing (WF) skill. This is a large AOE that does decent damage. Especially as you’ve managed to level up your bow to at least a 60 by now. At before, start off the dungeon spawns with DS. Tab to Bow and hit WF, TS, and then tab back to dagger. SK, DS. You shouldn’t need RA anymore at this point as SK has completely recharged by the time you’ve pulled off TS and WF. You can continue to use RA as a filler for the long WF cooldown like you did in the 60-73 attack sequences. Crow Wings (CW) at 82 is primarily a single target/PVP/PK skill. It hits 4 times and only the last hit is AOE. Use it in a pinch when everything else is on cooldown or you need to seperate from a mobbing quicky.

90+: At 90 plus you are reskilling to bow/xbow for the 90 dungeon. Maybe you go tri-brid as well. Long story short is that in Crevice dungeon dagger is fairly useless due to long narrow corridors. You get 2 new skills, Fiores Nova (FN) and Demolition Bomb (DB). My skill combo in Crevice is as follows: TS, EA, FN - 2 sec cooldown - TS - tab xbow - WF, EA, DM [tab] TS, FN, TS, [tab], etc… By tossing in that second TS (fast cooldown), you are giving time for your main AOE’s (DB and FN) to cooldown properly to be used in sequence with no pauses, except the builf in 2 second delay from FN and DB. It may seem off to see the sequence never having used those skills or been in the Crevice dungeon, but once you get them you’ll understand.

PK Strategies

This is the most fun part of being a hunter, especially in the early to mid levels. Especially PK’ing entire parties. No other class is equipped to PK an enture party at their own level. Here is the general tactic I used to great effect. Run in the room at normal speed. Pick your target, this is usually going to be another hunter if one is in the party or a summoner if one is there. Select your target and in the meantime, ask if there is a slot in the party available. Clever and cunning is the name of the game here. You need to have them at ease. Its also best if there is a large mob around them and the members of the party are using their AOE skills.

You’re already clicked on the target. Hit wind moving and then Silent Killer your target. If you time it right, every single target should now be purple because they’ve done their AOE’s on the mobs and hit you as well due to your purple status. In the meantime they have just lost a large chunk of HP and shield and are bleeding. Now is when you use DS to inflict mass damage, shoot yourself away from their AOE’s, and stun them all at the same time. Tab over to bow and triangle shot them. Tab back to dagger and restart the process by darting in and giving them another dose of SK and DS. If its a noob party, they’re all clumped together running directly at you which makes your job easier since SK is a directional AOE. If the party has some experienced people or has people with high level alts, they know your tactics and will not have flagged on you or will have spread out.

There is no shame in running away at this point if you have not killed the party. You have taken little damage, your speed skill is on the verge of running out, and that group of people are pissed. But they are also either dead of heavily damaged with little to no shield left. When your wind moving has cooled down and you are up to it again, go in and finish them off. You’re likely to die a lot fo the time when you try to PK an entire party. Its 6 on 1. You should lose every once in a while, but the satisfaction of a perfectly executed party PK is awesome.

Caveat: This is my build and its what I perceive to be an excellent build for a hunter. Its not the only option available and it may not even be the best one. We all have our preferences. As a hunter who has tinkered around with and toyed with almost every build you can imagine its the one I found to be the best and most effective for both levelling and haivng fun with the PVP/PK system.

2Moons Incar Magician guide

STARTING OUT:

Just start in Loa Castle, it’s much easier to navigate. You’ll have one little lovely spell that does not so great damage, just sit there and spam it! Trust me… it gets better. I recommend killing any of those Akiris things you can find, they drop potions and various other items, can help you make some cash in the beginning of the game. So after spamming your little energy jab for 4 levels. Go to your skill master in loa castle; all blue and lined up, it’s not that hard to find or I’d post a screen shot. And get energy bolt, it doesn’t cost a skill point, and it’ll help you level up till 7.

Skills:

Oh and just to make this clear, TRI-ELEMENT, is the way to go!
Oh and also, I used this one in Korean because it’s a lot more accurate than Mmosite, some skills such as Spoiled, Aqua and Energy hammer don’t cost skills points, and mmosite says they do. Lol.

Lastly, NO RESET NEEDED!

Level 7:
Nothing really special here, just get all your basics : D

Level 16:
Same thing, level up the masteries a bit. :b

Level 27:
Woot first AoE! Still nothing really to explain.

Level 36:
Ahhh you get your 36 AoE skills! You’ll use these till the day you quit. Now to make this clear, you DO NOT NEED TO LEVEL them up! Leave them at level 1! ALWAYS! Actually if you level them past 4, the cooldowns go up, and you can’t even spam them! Level 1 is fine, you still do great damage.

Level 51:
Your first true pking skills! And they hurt!

Level 65:
Still just leveling up the masteries and buffs. Notice that I haven’t put any points into the magic power buff, that’s because it’s really not great till maxed; it really isn’t that great unless you have a lot of magic attack, and it’s really only for PvP, which most mages shouldn’t be doing till 92 or 98 :b Oh and get energy hammer, no skill point needed.

Level 81:
81 skills! Blast phoenix sucks, don’t level it. Freezing spirit is one of the best skills in the game- keep it at level one for now. And thunder spear is nice to use after the imitid buff, but cruelty lightning is still WAY stronger.

Level 92:
OMGOMGOMG your 92s! You should be in heiharp now testing these babies out! All three are very useful.

Level 98:
Aqua circleeeeeeeeeee!

Okay now that we have the skills done…

Stats:

Okay this is gonna be short and simple. Use wand, wand > staff. Wand has more damage, gives you more HP, and defense. Now for the actual stats: I’m just going to say, get your weapon stat required strength and spirit, and the rest into HEAL; ALWAYS!

Now the Staff/Wand discussion.
Wand is greater than staff in every aspect, except for one, and that’s debatable, looks. Some say staff looks better, I disagree, I think it’s huge and ugly and… ew. But wand has more damage on it, it has less stat points needed, so you get more HP/Defense, and although it has one less slot, I don’t think that really matters. The damage from a +8 wand and a +9 staff, are just about the SAME! Yes, the same!

And as for why all heal? Well you get 3 dmg from a point of spr, and 3 defense and 10 hp from a point of heal.
Now mages damage is PLENTY high, so you tell me, what do you think would be better?
In the long run, having the HP/Defense helps a lot more, in 2moons, Heal Builds>All.
And it’s not even just that it’s better, a SPR built mage will have trouble staying alive when partying,
Doing dungeons, deadfront and leveling. So just get what you need for your weapon, and throw all the rest into heal.
That’s honestly what’s best for a mage, in PvE and PvP.

Training areas:

Level 1-15: Loa Castle/Braiken Castle & North Ares/North Morte.
Level 15-20: Denebe.
Level 20-34: Requies and Heiharp. -Look for Plevelers in Heiharp, as there are often bored high levels.
Level 34-50: Nunvice Instance Dungeon! (Located in Requies)
Level 50-55: Norak/Castor 2.
Level 55-60: Crespo; Recommended spot is 88:88- go to those coordinates and look for a party!
Level 60-80: Crespo Dungeon. (Once you hit 65 you can also go to Draco for commissions or vouchers)
Level 80-90: Python, Far east or Far west preferred : D
Level 90-98: 90 DUNGEON 90 DUNGEON 90 DUNGEON. You might have troubles finding a party 90-92 though, but still try! There’s always hope : D

Oh and of course for almost ALL levels, deadfront! As a mage, you should have no problem ever finding a deadfront party!

Gear:

Now mages have high defense, and high damage, even with not so great gear.
If you can afford a +7, make it a wand, that’d help you out the most.
As for armor, 1-88, +0 armor with 18 medials will do FINE.
Once you get into solongos (88-92 set), you should +4 the helm and armor, and keep it until your 110 helm and 112 armor.
If you wanna + up the pants/boots, go for it, but it’s not necessary really.
-L3 gloves, get a pair of these! You can use them till end game, they give great bonuses, so once you hit 86, try to get some.
Even once you get up through 115, +4 set with 25 medials will do fine, of course if you can get a +5, 6 or 7 set, that’s better, but you can do fine without it.

PvP:

This will only be basing on you are above the level 98. I don’t recommend PvPing before level 92.

Against a Segnale:

This should be the easiest fight for all mages. Start off with imitid flash before the PvP, and folllow up with cruelty lightning, at that point, IF there’s a cursefield on you, use infernal pillar to fly out of it, if not (or after you do that) use Gracious Eddy + Aqua circle. Then follow up with spoiled divinity if you want, urzer, or some 51 skills until Imitid + Cruelty is done again, they shouldn’t live past that. IF they somehow do, they have to be in their HP, so some combo skills to smash segnales HP are: Imitid Flash + Cruelty Lightning; Spoiled Divinity + Flame Burning; Gracious Eddy + Aqua Circle. The fight should overall be no problem, make sure to KEEP on skilling, so you interrupt any possible blood hits! And always remember you can infernal pillar out of a Curse Field!

Against a Azure Knight:

If the Azure Knight has a shield, make sure to always face north! So bounce defender doesn’t flip your screen in some odd way. Now to get to the chase, against an AK start out with the pre-imitid flash and then use THUNDER SPEAR, they will interupt your cruelty lightning and fuck over your combo. After that, what I always liked to do was Spoiled Divinity + Gracious Eddy + Aqua circle, -15% ice resistance helps a lot! (15% more damage!), then after aqua circle, you should have some room to use cruelty lightning, and it won’t get interrupted cause you have some space. Then use urzer gain/any other fillers you have, if the fight lasts long enough for a second imitid, cast it, and they won’t live past that.

Against a Twin Blade Summoner:

Click follow, start off with infernal pillar to get range, then follow up with gracious eddy + aqua circle to freeze them and knockback them. They’ll be far away, use urzer, then start imitid + cruelty. They normally die right here, with barely even touching you, if they haven’t use infernal + Eddy again, and their done for. Not much here, TB summoners aren’t strong.

Against a Staff Summoner:

Not many of these around, can’t say I’ve PvP’d many. They normally start off with Palpus, so I start off with Infernal pillar, it flies me out of Palpus and in range for imitid, so then imitid cruelty of course, then spoiled + eddy + aqua. Then justs fling 51s/Urzer at them till Infernal and Imitid are done, then repeat : D You should outdamage them taken that you don’t lag or get some extreme knockback.

Against a Hunter:

Eeeeew hunters, they can’t kite us since BMR! Bwhahaha! Anyways. Start off with infernal pillar to damage them and get closer, then Eddy + Aqua, if they use demo bomb/fiore, make sure to use a 51! They won’t be able to skill and they’ll get knockbacked for sure! Hunters have pretty low shield, the fight doesn’t last much longer than that, don’t try to imitid them, it’ll just waste time, mana, and get you hit even more. Good filler skills on them are : Urzer, Spoiled and 51 skills. Normally Infernal, Eddy + Aqua, Urzer and any 51 ends the fight. If not, spoiled and two other 51s await.

Against a Bagi Warrior:

If the bagis good, you have no chance, but if he’s just kinda, spamming skills, or doesn’t really pay too much attention it’s not hard. I’ve probably beaten more bagis than I’ve lost to, but the good bagis you just don’t have a chance D: Anyways. RUN before the fight starts, imitid + cruelty, he’ll knockback cruelty, don’t use it twice. Eddy + Aqua, he’ll most likely knockback aqua but eddy would still have gotten the effect. If he did KB it, use it again. If you happen to get range, Urzer and Spoiled almost always KB. If your lucky in the begining of the fight, they won’t run right over, and your cruelty can knock them back pretty brutally, same thing with Eddy + Aqua, sometimes that’ll get some nasty winning KB. Not too much strategy here, just kinda hope he messes up and you can get knockback : D

Against a Mage:

If the other mage starts out with imitid flash, run and use eddy aqua, if they other mage starts out with eddy aqua, use infernal pillar to fly out if it and it’ll miss. Countering ftw ftw ftw! Yeah…. Not much to say here, your the same thing, pretty even fight, pretty much luck on who gets knockback. Spoiled Divinity is pretty good since mages have a lot of resistances.

Last few PvP tips: Always use Imitid + Cruelty (Or thunder spear on AKs), Gracious Eddy + Aqua (Spoiled + Eddy + Aqua Works too). Always try to be skilling, when your not, you take the risk of being knocked back, so just pound away with the skills!

I hope my nubby guide helped; Lemme know if you need to know anything else or have any questions or think somethings wrong or if you think I should add anything! =)

PS: The path to 92/98 is hard, but it’s worth it, it really is, trust me : D

Oh and lastly, for anyone who wonders, this is my skill build at my current level.

2Moons Review

2Moons is a free-to-play MMORPG by Acclaim. It is based on the Korean game Dekaron. Instead of translating and directly porting Dekaron, Acclaim instead reworked the game to suit a US release. Originally announced for US release in 2006, 2Moons is currently still in open-beta phase, with an official launch date unknown. 2Moons tagline is “No mercy for the weak, no pity for the dying, no tears for the slain”. And it indeed lives up to this.

Gameplay:
2Moons is a free MMO to play. However, unlike similar free MMOs, Acclaim has decided to take the marketing model one step further. Aside from the 2Moons shop, where you can purchase game items such as coins for potions and costumes for your character, you have the option of turning off the in-game advertising at the cost of slower leveling speed.

New players can choose between six jobs; Azure Knight, Hunter, Incar Magician, Vicious Summoner, Segnale or Bagi Warrior. The controls were somewhat easy to use, though using the mouse initially annoyed me. Luckily there is easy customization of these controls as well as keyboard shortcuts to help navigate around the game.

2Moons is heavily focused on its violence aspect. PK (player killing) and PvP pretty much rule here, living up to its tagline of “No mercy for the weak, no pity for the dying.” Players may feel frustrated at the rampant PK that goes on while they are exploring or leveling up. Quests are also scarce, and players are met with cheerful profanity from the NPCs in town. The storyline is also lacking. The majority of the game’s plot is what is written on the 2Moons website. With the focus being heavily on violence and mass killings, it may be a turn-off for those that enjoy questing or otherwise leveling up without being bothered.

Bots have also made their way into this game, like so many other MMOs. The spam bots in the towns spam frequently enough to where you have to leave the main part of the town just to chat. The higher level bots are well equipped and PK players or otherwise grief them. This can be frustrating since it is very difficult to kill them and remove them from the area.

Graphics:
2Moon’s overall look is dark and foreboding, which fits the nature of this game well. Bright happy colors are rarely used. The graphics are also semi-dated, but that doesn’t take away from enjoying the visual fights.

There isn’t much in the way of character customization save for costumes, which can be purchased at the 2Moons shop. Without costumes, the characters look similar. You are also limited to a specific gender based on what job you choose to play.

Overall:
If you’re into mass killings and violence, then this game is definitely worth a try. If you’re the casual gamer type who is into questing and engaging storylines, it may not be as enjoyable.

Pros:
-Free to play
-Controls are easy to learn; keyboard shortcuts are also convenient
-Graphics are rich despite being semi-dated

Cons:
-PK may be frustrating to casual gamers who aren’t into that aspect of MMO gaming
-Characters tend to look the same without purchasing a costume
-Bots that grief players
