Scions of Fate Guide: Ninja
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|8,616views
Â
The ninja class is very unique in several ways. Revealing some powerful, innovative new features in Scions of Fate.Skills:
The ninja class has a very high critical hit rate, and high evasion for a fast and deadly combo.
The ninja class brings forth a new type of fighting: status effects. You can attack your opponents and inflict an effect such as bleeding, poison, paralysis and more. With these available attacks it is possible to bring down an enemy in a single blow.
The ninja class is unique in another way as well. Their rage bar. Unlike most classes, the rage bar does not charge and activate for a set amount of time.
Instead, their rage bar gains, and they can use this to deal a massive blow to their enemy. However, one shot of this high damage blow will render the rage spent.
The ninja class is also capable of a never before seen skill. Shadow Hide.
This skill will allow the ninja to go “invisible” and hide from other players. Keep in mind though that the difference in level from yourself and the other players determines how much of you is truly hidden.

Scions of Fate Spear Build
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|2,034views
Heres the normal spear build for anyone looking to build a spear char.
Abilities
lvls 1 - 21 Improved Armour
lvls 22 - 35 Burning Wrath
lvls 36 - 45 Chi Explsion
lvls 46 - 48 burning Wrath
lvls 49 - 58 Buddhas Blessing
lvls 59 - 60 Prescribed Medicine
lvls 61 - 70 Guardian Spirit
lvls 71 - 79 Prescribed Medicine
lvls 80 Lethal Blow
lvls 81 - 90 Howl Of Rage
Skills
skills is simple. Aim to get them all, if you can afford the ki for a skill, get it. If not, dont. Simple as that.
A couple of things to take note of…
before getting lvl30 skill, you have lvl35 skill only 5 levels away. So if youre short on ki and dont think you could manage to get enough ki for 35 skill, skip 30 skill.
Same for 60 and 64 skill.
Gears
no matter what, allways get the strongest spear available to you at your promotion.
Cascade Spear, [O]Crown Spear, [C]Frost Spear, [O]Dragon Fang Spear, [C]Demonic Pheonix Spear etc…
Spears are relatively cheap compared to other classes weapons so you should be alright saving up for one.
If you dont have a master pimp your spear with…
1st promo - ED
2nd promo - AD
3rd promo+ - SA
If you do, and s/hes given you a powerful skill…
1st promo - AD
2nd promo+ - SA
However, using the masters skill costs alot of chi, if your master aint going to help you out with gold/gears etc. then you might want to go down the (no master) route. Use your own skills, save up more gold for weapons etc.
As a spear, weapon comes first, gears come last. With spears, you should always aim for fast kills rather than high lvl kills. That way we save gold from pots yet we will still be getting round the same exp.
with gears, use def gems. If your serious about pvp, then you might want to invest in some SD gears.

|| 74-83 || Option Two - Buddhas Blessing
|| 84-93 || Option One - Burning Wrath
|| 84-93 || Option Two - Buddhas Blessing
- This one is a little shaky. Thats extremely late in the game to be getting Burning Wrath and Buddhas Blessing, but for damage sake, its the best option. Id say your best option is to work your skill points out to your liking. Perhaps take off a bit of Vulnerable Point to get Buddhas Blessing/Burning Wrath earlier.
=============================–E-X-P-L-A-N-A-T-O-I-N—-
So, Ive noticed that a lot of people dont really understand what all the abilities do so I thought Id take the time to explain them a bit.
—————
Eagles Flight
—————
The most important ability point (in my opinion) for bowman.
This Ability not only increases your maximum damage, but also increases your range.
Getting this at the very start is a MUST.
( *Maximum Damage* Okay, you see how on your Weapon you have a stat like 5-11 or something, well, it increase that 11)
—————
Improved Bowstring
—————
This one pretty much goes without an explanation. It increases your minimum damage. Enough said. Just get it ^o^
—————
Hawks Eye
—————
This ability increases accuracy, which, does IN FACT increase damage.
—————
Lethal Blow
—————
Increase the chance of a crit proc. I would suggest not getting this until waaaay higher levels, and even then, there are better things to get. To my knowledge, it does not stack with Vulnerable Point
—————
Vulnerable Point
—————
You get the second Crit ability point at 2nd promo. If youre a Crit Archer, I recommend Vulnerable Point over Lethal Blow. Again, this ability increases the proc rate for Crits.
—————
Buddhas Blessing
—————
Increases max health. 8 per level.
—————
Burning Wrath
—————
Increases the time that “rage” lasts. Rage gives you more damage and defense for a period of time.
—————
Aerial Harmony
—————
Okay, so this one is hard to explain.
Basically, Aerial Harmony is a green aura that surrounds you (you get this at 3rd promotion) and whenever this occurs, youve proced.
Once proced, you shoot 3 arrows in a succession.
Heres the odd thing about AH… Whenever you leave it at (0), when it proc, it continues to do the 3-shots until the mob is dead BUT if you add points to it, you no longer continuously attack but instead proc more often.
Its your choice on what you find more convenient.
=====================================–S-K-I-L-L-S—-
There are a lot of skills for bowman..
A LOT.
Its up to you to choose what you think is best for you, but, Ill share my opinions.
*N.O.T.E* Ki farm. Ki farm A LOT. No matter what you do, youre going to get bombed between 55 and 60 skills. As in, you need approximately 300k ki all at once. Thats a lot for those levels. o.o”
Skills I recommend getting -
10, 15, 20, 35, 45, 55, 55 (accuracy buff), 60(skill attack buff), 60 (aerial dash), 64, 68….
Basically, as your higher levels come, get the skills you can afford.
———————-DO NOT GET THESE SKILLS (!)———————-
Agile Withdrawl [level 20] Worthless. Alright for PvP but not worth it.
Bow of Solluna Arrow [level 30] Just skip it. You get a new skill at 35. Save your ki.
THAT stupid LEVEL 45 CRIT BUFF. Dont get it unless your a Crit Archer. ITS NOT WORTH IT! And at that, it LOWERS your skill damage.
55 Dodge Buff. You know, the one that increases dodge but lowers accuracy. Meh. You do less damage but dont get hit as often.
60 skill. Mmm.. 64 does more damage and is 4 levels away. I mean, if you have a TON of ki, go for it, but imo, its not really worth all that. >.<
================================–ORDER-VS-CHAOS—-
Its all a matter of opinion, really.
But, I have noticed a few things that still confuse me a bit.
It seems as though Order get more Multi-Hit skills, which, obviously is just fantastic for stacking (zzzzz) but also uses more arrows.
I cant figure this out.. You wouldnt think theyd make the game unbalanced like that.
Anyway, everything else is completely equal.
The damage the skills do are equal as well.
Its all about appearance and what you prefer.
================================–W-E-A-P-O-N-S——-
First of all, let me just get this point across real quick.
ED/AD bows are best for levels 1-55. End of story. They do more damage!
SA bows are best for skill archers 55+. Totally not worth getting a new bow at 55 though, so just wait until 60.
ED bows are best for crit archers. Not joking. Ever wonder why theres those ED Arrows and not AD. Case closed.
Now, with the Master and Apprentice system though, SA bows become best once skills 55+ have been given. **
Now on to the Weapons that I suggest purchasing 0.0
————————–
Wind Bow vs Sky Bow
————————–
Personally, I just tested farming on a new character.
I NPCd all of the rubies I got and had enough for a Sky Bow at level 14.
That being said, DO NOT GET A WIND BOW!
I had no assistance what-so-ever on purchasing my Sky Bow and its definitely worth the attack difference.
I recommend putting either AD 7+ gems on it OR ED 11+ (ED is cheaper).
After you have your 4 lines of enchantments, go ahead and enhance it to [2] (youll need a total of 6 rubies).
————————–
Lightening Bow/Beryl Bow vs Sparrow Flight Bow/Fire Diamond Bow
————————–
This is another one that I suggest getting the higher end (SFB/FDB).
Their sell values are significantly more than the Lightening/Beryl AND the damage is a lot stronger.
Its not too bad to try and gather up the gold for them.
Do your quests, vend your rubies and other drops, and sell your old Sky Bow (you should be able to pull off 1mil or more from that).
Pimp these with either AD10+ (I would really suggest AD 12s if you have the gold… 15s if your loaded).
ED isnt so good at this point.
Try to get the enhancement to [4] this time.
Youll get some luck charms from quests so that should help.
Also, this time, stick some Poison Amethyst on it whenever you have the gold.
————————–
GWB/ISB vs VBB/BRB
————————–
Mmm…
This is all about how much gold you have at this point.
If you manage to save up for an ISB or BRB (Infernal Sky Bow / Blood Rain Bow) ONLY pimp it with SA 25s.
If you get a GWB or VBB (Gold Winged Bow / Violent Blade Bow) I wouldnt suggest wasting the gold on SA 25s.
So…
GWB/VBB should be about SA 90 total
ISB/BRB should be 100, definitely.
(Use Poison Amethyst still.. its better until around 75)
Also, if you plan on being a Crit, only use ED 20s and I would use Fire Amethyst.
From here on, its pretty much straight forward.
Go for whatever you can afford, basically.
================================–L-E-V-E-L-I-N-G——-
Bowman have it easy for a very long time.
Their high damage and ranged attacks make them desired for most parties.
Levels 1-3 Bobcats
Levels 3-6 Toads
Levels 6-10 Foxes
Levels 10-13 Boars and Bulls
Levels 13-15 Wolves and Bears
Levels 15-20 Lumberjacks and Three-tailed Foxes
Levels 20-23 Apes
Levels 23-26 Zombies
Levels 26-29 Psychics
Levels 29-33 Bandits
Levels 33-36 Tigers and Bears
——-
Levels 36/37-40 Spearman / Poachers
Levels 40-42 Swollen Fists
From here, most people tend to go to Tower.
Its not good for your Ki, but thats mostly where youll find parties and considering your a Bow, Tower pts <3 Bowman.
Scions of Fate Blader Guide
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|2,019views
This is the most useful guide for NEWPLAYER
LVL 1-21
you have 20 points, max Improve Grip
LVL 21-35
you have 14 points, increase 14 points into Burning Wrath
LVL 35-45
you have 20 points,here u gotta do 2 step:
*add 10 points to Reflection Wall
*add 10 points to Armor Crush
LVL 45-55
and again you have 20 points, do the same as the pervious one:
*max 10 points to Reflection Wall
*max 10 points to Armor Crush
LVL 55-58
you have 6 points, max Burning Wrath
LVL 58-60
you have 4 points, at this lvl you have 4 abilities maxed. So only Preciseness, Flowing Blade & Lethal Blow… put 4 points into Preciseness( increase accuracy = in crease some damage)
If you use reset abilities, you can reset the 4 points in Preciseness for Point Piercing. So
from here:
LVL 60-70 (w/o use reset point)
you have 20 point, max Point Piercing ( increase critical atk rate, 1point = 1 increase)
Or LVL 60-68 (with reset point)
you will have 16 points plus 4 points from reset, max Point Piercing.
LVL 70-78 (w/o use reset point)
you will have 16 points, max Preciseness
Or LVL 68-78 (with reset point)
you will have 20 points, max Preciseness
LVL 78-80 (w/o use reset point)
you have 4 points, put into ( either u choose Flowing Blade or Lethal Blow. At this stage its depend on you cuz there is no other ability left X)
Or LVL 78-80 (with reset point)
you have 4 points, put into Preciseness
Scions of Fate Swordsman Build
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|2,534views
This is pretty simple to follow, so dont worry about this. Ill use up my experience as a Swordsman in SoF to try and make a guide.
First of all, when you start off, be sure you get a prime healing salve (you may acquire it when you begin the game, but youll only use it later on, after level 10).
Ability Distribution
The abilities are quite simple to distribute, so it goes this way:
From levels 1-21: Sharpened Swords
From levels 22-38: Chi Armor
From levels 38-48: Burning Wrath
From levels 48-58 Life Drainer
From levels 58-60: Sword Drift
From levels 61-71: Instant Reflex
From levels 71-79: Sword Drift
Level 80: Lethal Blow
From levels 81-89: Auroral Sword (Yes, youll be left with 16 Points, but this due to save it up for Tigers Rage)
From levels 90-100: Tigers Rage
From levels 101-111: Fifth Promotion Ability (which I dont know the name, but looks pretty good!)
From levels 112-113: Finish up Auroral Sword
After level 113: Now fill up all the other Abilities
Ki Distribution
This sections is pretty simple. Just remember that until third promo, you should acquire NO skills. This is why too many people have problems with their own ki. They acquire the skills when theyre not needed. Basically, youll have to save up for everything. ^^
So:
Level 10: Tough, yah? Youll have to skip it. ^^ Saves your precious 160 (!) ki.
Level 15: Get the Wind Sprint. After this, dont acquire any skills until level 60.
As from here, you should gather all the ki you can. And even if youre almost running out of gold, just use Pills of Destiny everytime you can. And I mean everytime.
Item Crafting
Well, it seems that we got to the point where youll decide what to craft! So Ill use the minimum requirements.
First Promotion Weapon: Your first promotion Weapon should be a Blood Sword, at least. To pimp it, I recommend Attack Damage 8×4 at least, with a [2] Minimum. For an amethyst, you should use Physical Energy, at least as well, since your Extra Damage can be important when doing the crits and the combos. If you do get a Tiger Sword… Attack Damage 9 or above should be used.
Second Promotion Weapon: Your minimum here is certainly Attack Damage 10 in all lines, although its advisable to use Attack Damage 12 at least. You WILL have to afford a Solstice/Diamondedge Sword, and apply at least Attack Damage 12×4 on it. Be SURE to use Poison Amethysts (Level 3 required). You can also choose to make an Extra Damage Weapon, and in this case, your minimum SHOULD be Extra Damage 20×4, alongside Physical Energy Amethysts. Place your Amethyst at least in level 4. (Remember! Not to buy any skills with your ki.) If you do have a Master, just build an ED or Skill Attack Power Sword. The Skill Attack Power sword should use, at least, Skill Attack Power 16×4 Minimum, but the recommended here might be 17 or above. If you use SA Gems, dont hesitate in using Inner Energy or Poison (recommended). Either cases, be sure to have your enhancement at [3] in the minimum.
Third Promotion Weapon: Here comes the point where everything suddenly changes, and youll use skills yourself. Youll even have two stages, like a lot of players had in the past, if youre not too stashed on gold. If you are, be sure to take up Step 2.
Step 1 (Level 60-70): This build-up is pretty simple. Youll have to use up Skill Attack Gems. So, to start off, get a Nemesis/Adamantine Sword and equip it with Skill Attack Power 20×4 (Minimum and also recommended for Step 1. If you can afford something higher (which isnt too hard nowadays <_<) just go for it). Then, your Amethysts can only be Poison or Above. As youre in this step, Poison is the most recommended. Get your Weapon to level 4 in Poison. As in for the enhancements, I used a [3] at that time, so now, if you are to use something at this point, make it [3]-[4], since its not too hard with all those premium stuff out there.
Step 1 (Level 70 onwards): This is where building your sword gets to a super Climax at third promotion. At this point, both Nemesis/Adamantine Sword and Blood Rain/Fire Fang Sword are ideal, so dont worry if you dont acquire the rare weapon. Of course the rare weapon is better, but your Nemesis/Adamantine is always enough! ^^ So, If you do get a Blood Rain/Fire Fang Sword, the minimum requirement to fill them up is: [4] Skill Attack Power 24×4 Poison level 4/Fire level 2. Simple as it may get. Anything above this is better, but these by themselves are okay. If you are to use a Nemesis/Adamantine Sword, be sure to use [4] Skill Attack Power 23×4 and the same Amethyst level as mentioned above, so the swords are not too different. If you can manage it to be [3], its also okay, since 6 Attack wont influence that much. But itd be great!
Fourth Promotion Weapon: This is also where all opinions on weapon building diverge. Ill also divide these into Steps 1, 2 and 3, in case you build different Kinds of Weapons.
Step 1 (Demon Specter/Cobalt Wolf Sword): Very well, when you finish your Fourth Promotion, you feel like having a weapon, isnt that right? So, you should choose to get a Weapon Eight of your Faction and Class, so it can be a “substitute” weapon before you build your actual Fourth Promotion Weapon. If you already got your final weapon crafted, be sure to check if it matches the requirements on Steps 2 and 3. If you have it but not crafted, skip this point to Steps 2 and/or 3. If not, just stick to this one. =P Anywhos, lets get started. Your Demon Specter/Cobalt Wolf Sword should match the criteria of the minimum requirements, so it should be stashed with Skill Attack Power 25×4, [3] and Poison 4 at least, since this is going to be a replacement weapon and not your final one. As for the gems to be used here, stick to High Quality ones, since those can be cheaper than the Regular ones. So, if your damage isnt as much as another players with a Class Nine or Ten weapon, do not worry. This is just a substitute. if you want, use Skill Attack Power 26 Gems.
Step 2 (Sword of the Cataclysmic Fate/of the Amethyst Fire): This is when it comes to make your final weapon for the Fourth Promotion. If you have a Class Ten one, just skip this step to Step 3. With your Class Nine weapon, you got to be very careful. Although there seem to be some gems that are worth to fit in your sword, theyre not. So, if you want to have a sword like this, your minimum Gem should be a Skill Attack Power 27. So, if you want to successfully craft something at this point, you must have Skill Attack Power 27×4 on your Sword. Now, to the enhancement. This is where your abilities be tested. This sword IS meant to have at least [5]-[6] on it. One of these two levels should be enough. The Amethysts, it gets really simple. If you want to use Poison, get it to at least level 6. If not, you must use Fire. Fires level should be located at 4, minimum. It is recommended to have it at that level.
Step 3 (Sword of the Vengeful Adjudicator/of the Arcadian Dragon): If you want to build a weapon like this one… You must be stashed with a large amount of gold, so get ready! When it comes to the gems to be used, your minimum is certainly Skill Attack Power 28. Recommended: Use Skill Attack Power 29. It is the recommended here. So, about the Enhancements, it should be same as in Step 2, such as the amethysts. If you can, of course, get something above [6]!
Fifth Promotion Weapon: You finally got to the extreme level in terms of promotions! This is where youll seek the perfect weapon. So, until youre not stashed with enough gold, keep your Fourth Promotion Weapon.
Step 1 (Class Eleven/Twelve Weapon): This weapon is the one youll use throughout your Fifth Promotion, until you get your final one. So, in terms of Skill Attack Power, 29 minimum should be used. Of course 30 is recommended, but 29 should be your minimum, in all four lines, of course. Now, for the enhancement you should have something around [6]-[7] minimum. If you can get something higher, its okay. But no lower than [6]. Concerning Amethysts, of course, use Fire. Level 6 minimum.
Step 2 (Class Thirteen Weapon): I dont think doubts can be taken in here =P So, this is where you should fully stash your money before advancing (minimum: 2 Billion Gold). You will want to use Skill Attack Power 30×4, get Fire 10 and [10] (I heard [12] exists, but Im not sure. If it does, its worth a challenge!). Now, I think theres no further explanation on this, since now you should get yours hands to work!
It is time to talk about the gears and your armor.
Level 10: Theres not much to be said here. In order to take minimal damage from level 10-20 Monsters, you should enhance your robe and bracers to [2], and your boots to [3]. It should be enough. Your boots to [3], since if it does fail, boots are the cheapest part of your gears.
Level 15 (armor acquirement): This will be your first armor. So, in order to make it look bright, use Defense 2×2 and enhance it to [2]. This is the minimum requirement, so if you want to boost it further ahead, just go for it, if you have the means to.
Level 20: At this point, you should start considering of enchanting your parts. So, the Robe should have Defense 2×4 [2]-[3]. Do your boots the same, and our bracers with [2]. This should be your minimal Requirement.
Level 25 (armor acquirement): This armor is just a tad stronger than your level 15 one, so use Defense 3×2, alongside [2] ([3] if possible).
Level 30: These gears will require a bit more of attention. So, for the robe, just do it [2]-[3] Defense 4, 3, 3, 3 Minimum. If you want, use one or two wind amethysts on it, so you can have a bit more of dodge (yeah, since it works with us swordsmen, and also, this is optional). About your bracers and boots, just go Defense 3×4, alongside [2] ([3] if you want them a tad stronger).
Level 35 (armor acquirement): This is what I like to call an optional armor. This armor is not that useful in terms of defense here, so await for the level 45 one.
Level 40: OK, you got your level 40. Now get ready to build some gears. Be sure that your robe has Defense 4×4, [3] in terms of enhancement (youll use this enhancement level until youre level 80, except on your robes). This was my level 40-49 robe, and it worked pretty well. Also, you should use like 4 Wind Amethysts on your robe. It wont hurt having a bit of dodge. ^^ Your bracers and boots should contain the same gems.
Level 45 (armor acquirement): At this point, you should build a new armor definitely. So, your minimum requirements should be: [3] Defense 4×2.
Level 50: Now, you should use a bit more of defense here. So, you should use [3] Defense 5×4 in your robe. Also, this is the time where you should start using Physical Energy as your Robe Amethyst. Use 2 for now. And about your gears, use the same composition as your robe, certainly.
Level 55 (armor acquirement): Theres no big difference from this one to the 45-one, so use the same gems. Youll be given a bit more of defense, so no big deal here. (remember these are the minimum requirements).
Level 60: At level 60, you should be able to use a tad more of defense. With this, I mean your robe should be stashed with [3] Defense 6×4 and Physical Energy 3. Relating your bracers, just make them [3] Defense 6, 6, 5, 5 or full Defense 6×4. Your boots the same, as usual.
Level 65 (armor acquirement): This armor is simple to make. So make it [3] Defense 6×2.
Level 70: About your level 70 robe, make it simple. [3]-[4] Defense 7, 7, 6, 6 Physical Energy 4 at least. Id recommend [3] Defense 7×4 Physical Energy 4, of course. Your bracers should be [3] Defense 6×4 at least. If not, make them [3] Defense 7, 7, 6, 6.
Level 75 (armor acquirement): Your armor should be [4] Defense 7×2, so no big deal.
Level 80: This where things get hard. Well, your robe should be [4]-[5] Defense 8×4, alongside Physical Energy at 5. If you want, you can start using Fire on your robes, so make it at least Fire 2 or 3 if you use them. Your bracers and boots should have [4] Defense 7×4 on them, as for minimal requirements.
Level 85 (armor acquirement): Just upgrade a bit from your previous armor, [3]-[4] Defense 8×2.
Level 90: These should be stashed big time. So, your robe, since youre a swordsman, you need defense at this point. Make it [5]-[6] Defense 9×4 Physical Energy 6, at least. It is recommended to use Fire on this one. Get it to Fire 3-4 if you do use Fire. Your bracers and boots should be stashed at [4] Defense 8×4.
Level 95 (armor acquirement): This armor is a bit harsh to make… So, it should be at [4]-[5] Defense 9×2. Harsh Part = Getting it to [5]. =P
Level 100: This is where all doubts begin to appear. Its not that hard to decide what to use here. So, my opinion is that Defense 10 is crucial here. So, try using [7]-[8]-[9] (yeah, its hard =/ But do consider you wont have Level 110/120 Robes) Defense 10×4 Fire 6-7-8. Try to make it higher. This will be just like the weapons, get it to max!
Level 105 (armor acquirement): Once you reach level 105, there will be a new armor. This one will be stashed with Defense 10×2, of course, but with [7]-[8]-[9] as in enhancement, as said above.
Still about the armors and gears, be careful when you enchant/enhance. Ask a housemate to help out with a House Costume + Costume = 8 at E/E, with Charms of Luck, or else youre struck.
Additional Aspects
Well, in addition to all this, you should make some more items to help you on your quest leveling. These should be the costumes, and the type of rings/earrings to use.
Rings/Earrings/Necklace: Use your Rings to give you Accuracy at least. The best ones inside your range, that is. If you get to have other rings, be sure to Attack Damage ones, since those will help you. About Earrings, just use Health Ones. If you get Ability ones, be sure to only use them after you get Instant Reflex, as itll help you either at PvE and PvP. Relating the necklace, use some to boost your accuracy.
First Promotion Costume: Theres not much to be said here. The costume you should use here is a Gold 10 one, since the mobs do drop low gold. And Swordsmen DO need gold if they want some good defense and attack.
Second Promotion Costume: At this point, I recommend you to use a Life Drainer Costume. Although you wont have the ability until level 48 (if you followed the instructions above), itll help you on PvE at second promotion.
Third and Fourth Promotion Costumes: Well, this ones obvious, right? XD You should use Instant Reflex of course. Itll boost up your skill damage as well as dodge.
Fifth Promotion Costume: Use a costume with the new ability, of course. 100 Defense Ignore of your enemy is just Bomb…
House Costumes: Be sure to have two house costumes - Life Drainer and Instant Reflex.
Pet Usage: Mouse, obviously. Our health is too low, and extra health is always something to be worshiped.
I guess thats all, if you have anything to say, just post below! Ive put my efforts on this, so dont go on wasting such Guide!

Scions of Fate Efficient Grinding Guide
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|1,466views
putting this in the guide section also for S&Gs, even though most people only go to general discussion for help.
ok so ive had a couple youngins in game ask about how i level or whats the best way to grind blah blah blah, instead of trying to explain all that in our tiny chat box, im just going to put it up here, oh and this is NOT an opinion on the best way to grind, it IS the best way to figure out if you are grinding efficiently, numbers dont lie, sorry. but hey, to some people its not really that import and thats fine. hell most of my grinding is done just where i like to be, map-wise i mean, like i love deso and catacombs and back in the day, abandoned cave (thats the best place ever, almost did a full 20 levels in abandon cave hehehe, just cause its quiet and i really dont like a whole lot of people around)Â
anyways, yes it is dealing with math so pop up that little on-computer calculator thats located under Accessories in the start menu for all you windows users or if you have mac, then im sure you have some calculator on your computer too. so, have that in the background while you are testing this out to find out how youre grinding and alt-tab out to keep bringing it up, or whatever you mac users key to switch between applications
im just going to use round numbers here in the examples which is what you need to do anyways while checking your rate of experience
NOTE!!!: this all applies to the bladers with aoe as well, its all the same.
ok so, let us start with this:
let us hypothetically say that our characters gain experience by-the-hit, as in, every time you hit a mob, you gain experience.
we will use ummm the iron mace superiors in forbidden tower 3 just cuz thats where im currently grinding my level 52 bow, actually, ya know what, it doesnt matter, forget i said a specific mob, cuz this applies to all mobs. ok anyways well say it takes me 10 skill hits to take down the mob, consistently, you need to know that number of how many hits it takes to take down any mob, thats an important number. ok, now when you kill a mob the experience given varies, usually a few thousand, but that doesnt matter really, you need to find out what the lowest OR highest average experience amount you receive for killing a certain mob, as in, um how about the iron mace sup maybe gives 11000 to 14500, ROUND UP OR DOWN TO THE NEAREST 500 points!!! if youre anal then i guess you can use the exact number, but within a couple hundred points is really not a huge deal. so kill about 10 of that certain mob to find out the average LOW or HIGH experience given. for the math part you can use EITHER the low number or the high, as long as you ALWAYS USE THE SAME ONE EACH TIME, you either use LOW always, or always use HIGH, DO NOT mix and match because that would completely make all your time spent finding the best place to grind completely for nothing.
for me i use the low always, so lets take that 11000 per kill that i get from the iron mace superiors and DIVIDE that by the number of skill hits it took me to kill the mob which i said was 10 hits.
11000 / 10 = 1100
see where im going with this? you get 1100 points of experience PER HIT. remember this is hypothetical in way of actually getting experience per hit, and DO NOT tell me that speed of kill is also a factor, time-wise, because this DOES include that, simply by using the experience-per-hit method.
ok so now you know how much experience per hit you get from this mob, go around to all the mobs FIVE levels under you and TEN levels over you and try it out to find which mob gives you the highest experience per hit. and that IS the MOST efficient place to grind.
let me note that i say “FIVE levels under you and TEN levels over you” for this reason, sometimes depending on your level and the mobs available, mobs below your level CAN give you higher and faster experience than mobs above you, but i have never found a mob below five levels to give higher experience per hit than at five below same with the ten above you, sometimes the best experience is WAY above you, all the way up to ten levels, but likewise there is NO mob in the game that gives faster and higher experience per hit than mobs that are within that ten-above range.
also, if you ever come to the situation where its just a matter of being within a small amount in the difference of experience per hit with certain mobs, then i suggest grinding the mob which damages you less lol, a few extra points of experience, as in maybe just a couple hundred experience points, is not worth spending more gold on pots, unless you really want to, thats cool i guess.
end notes:
- remember this IS for bladers with aoe too, it doesnt matter who you are or what gears you have
- if you have STRONG gears then grind superiors/beasts, if you have WEAK gears cuz youre a nOOb then i suggest just sticking with regulars, no big deal really
- in the situation of party grinding this still applies, but takes really too much time and experimenting to even be worth doing, all you need to do then is divide the experience per hit by the party members, but who honestly wants to go through all that trouble when dealing with multiple people? not me. parties are more for hanging out with friends and having fun anyways, not for experience, UNLESS youre using the absolute pill which gives you more bonuses with more people that use it in a party, but the experience per hit will STILL apply.
- ummm dont know if i left anything out but ummmmm yeah, so thats that for the people i told to come on forums and check my post, for everyone else, this might shed a new light on grinding, or some of you may already figure it this way anyways
- numbers dont lie, so no need to flame or argue
- and REMEMBER, this is just for maximum efficiency with your grinding, it doesnt mean you need to go by this, some people, like myself even, just like to grind the maps or areas where they enjoy, or grinding places where their friends grind, or mobs they personally like, or whatever really, its just a matter or preference between comfort/entertainment and efficiency.
- hope this helps those who needed to know, and maybe even some others who were always wondering
Scions of Fate Weapon Crafting Guide

Weapon Crafting Guide I : The Basics
The first thing one needs to know about weapon crafting is: Its a REAL pain if you are not rich. That said, You can learn Weapon crafting by finding this character in Marketplace:

Okay so if you find this guy then you have completed step one to becoming a pro weapon smith. (in your dreams lol). Anyways, If you go to “craft items” (Im too lazy to add a pic for this. Im sure you can find it ), You will see a list of materials required to craft the specific weapon that you selected, of course, you will only see second promotion weapons. If you have enough of the material required, the they will appear white, otherwise the will be grayed out.
Finding Materials
When I chose weapon crafting, for some strange reason I believed I could buy the materials from NPCs, man was I wrong…and so the nightmare began…
Materials for weapon crafting are fairly easy to come by, enough of each is another story . Since I am still a rookie myself Ill will explain how 2nd Promo Materials may be gained.
Leather - umm…Animals? Tigers, Toads, Fox, Animals!
Soft Iron - Weapons. You Dismantle the weapon by selecting the produce option in the craft window.
Amplification Pills - You can buy, get, beg(dont do this ) from an explosive crafter Either that or make yourself one(explosive crafter).
Linen Deco - Armor crafter can make these. (It is said that you will learn this at a higher mastery, but what do I know, Im just a rookie!)
Blue Orb - Human type mobs. Tunnelers, Gangsters, Jade Tower (sorry chaos pplz Im order^_^).
Soft Iron Crystal - Obtained from failed weapon (2nd Promo) enhance upgrades. (My opinion buy this one, sells like for 2m).
And with those you can make pretty much all the 2nd promotion weapons.
Now…The amount of materials each…umm what do I call it? Grade? well lets call it “Grade” for argument sake. So Grade 1 would be c1/o1. So then…
Grade 1:
Leather - 1
Soft Iron - 54
Amplification Pill (2nd) - 10
Linen Deco - 1
Grade 2:
Leather - 1
Soft Iron - 90
Amplification Pill (2nd) - 10
Linen Deco - 1
Grade 3:
Leather - 1
Soft Iron - 108
Amplification Pill (2nd) - 10
Linen Deco - 1
Soft Iron Crystal - 1
Grade 4:
Leather - 1
Soft Iron - 240
Amplification Pill (2nd) - 10
Linen Deco - 1
Soft Iron Crystal - 1
Blue Orb - 1
Whew…and there you have it. I think thats enough now…actually it better be because I dont know anything more for the time being. And it will be a long time before I further my mastery since it so expensive. I hope this guide was helpful. If you notice any mistake/incorrect info please dont be shy post it, It will be appreciated ^_^.
Scions of Fate A Comprehensive Newbie guide in training
Apr 22, 2009 Scions of Fate|2,223views
Here is a comprehensive on what to do at early levels
Training
Start off with your gears, starter gears dont need to be uber and with a lot of gems in it, A few rubies should do the job. An NPC weapon with [4] rubies in it is good enough for a starter weapon just get a trusted friend who has at least a gsc and a costume to get the rubies in for you (believe me there are lots). As the one newcomer before said ” premium pots lasted me till 30~”(quest premiums such as Healing salve special from Lady Tae) , That statement is true since you can economize the need to pot once or twice every few minutes due to the weakness of damage dealt to you by mobs. The key word here is “economize” Meaning , Dont buy shiat you dont need I.E a fully pimped cascade that you will replace only in a few days of training, Invest in stuff that you think are good for you and your status an example of this is by hoarding rubies and vending them while you sleep or while you do something else, or by investing your well earned gold in a good 2nd promo weapon w/c you will use for 25 2nd promo levels. Armor/Robe/Gear pimping (with emeralds ofc) in my opinion should be done on lvl 40 gears not level 30,20,10 since you can use level 40 stuff till level 60 when you have to make new gears for promo (p.s. you can skip level 50 gears since they dont have a lot of difference def wise).
Low on pots? MEDITATE thats what its there for
Training spots for level 10-60
Note: To check on the Screenshots , Just Highlight the url, copy it then paste it on your address bar.
I can give u a list here but its for order part of maps since i dont know chaos side mobs.
10-15
Train at wolves and bears at CV they drop considerable amounts of rubies

here u can see 2 -3 wolves and a few bears the bears wont be a bothr since they are kind of far from the wolves just look at my Shout message to see th coordinates
15-20
Train at Three Tailed foxes/Lumberjacks in CV yet another robe/ruby area.

again a 2 spawn aggresive lumberjack spot if you want more mobs just pull some from the farside of your train spot
20-25
I suggest training at Apes tho the superior ones hit hard the normal ones are crap and you can manage it

her 2 spawn apes are easy to see again check my shout message to see the coordinates. Parties maybe required here since there are some spots that have more than 5 spawns.

this is the superior spot careful here thy hit hard
25-27
train at zombies in CV they have superiors here so if you can find a decent party then it would benefit you much

here only the banshee is aggressive so take a pick the aggressive banshee or the zombie.
27-30
Train at Fallen Monks and that Girly man with a fan or w/e he is holding this area has a lot of mobs and spwn areas so take a pick, or you can go to catacombs and hit on the Superior Monks there Floor 37
I cant pick a spot here for a good train spot since almost all are good train spots so just go to the Monks and pick a spot
30-35
I absolutely insist that you train at bandits for this is the first area that you can farm weapons and lvl 30 gears and rubies plus you can get a Citirine w/c may cost anywhere from 600-1m depending on the citrine (refer to Yamis guide on price)

this spot is near the entrance a 4 spawn aggro site, you may need a partymate or more here.

here is a 3 spawn aggressive site its easier here for solo

a 2 spawn superior axe and normal blade , Tho this spot is good for those who can tank it, i may put this in for a Good party of 8 to train in.
35-37
Train at tigers and white tigers With all the nice quest given you should probably have around 1.6m in gold now either buy a Npc Weapon costing 1.4m or wait and farm more for rubies to get a fresh or pimped Rare weapon of your clasS Both Chaos and Order has Tigers Bears and White Tigers in its map so no problem there.

This is a 2 spawn orange tiger and a 1 spawn siberian tiger, The siberians are non aggro so its easy to train here solo or with a party.
Note. For healers who want to promo easy try making friends with your pt mates and get them to join you when you promo it will b much easier than hitting mobs for 30 - 50 damage.
(P.S. Rare weapons drop here for 2nd promo)
37-40
train at Poachers/Runaway Spearman Renegade Bladesman here is the best area for a starter 2nd promo since mobs here are weak and have spots where only 2 are aggressive
(P.S. Rare weapons drop here for 2nd promo)
(P.S. start geting gold for lvl 40 gears (fulldef 4 [2] gears are good enough)

here is a good 2 spawn aggro 2 spawn non aggro mob spot, healers can heal on the outside while tankers and hitters go inside.
40-43
Train at Swollen Fists here is a good site for you to train on a single mob at a time they also drop rare weapons. Again both Chaos and Order side has a Swollen Fist superior and normal.

a good spread out even area where Fists respawn, Superior mobs here are bunched up in a group so it may be hard for a solo and even a party . so Normal mobs is the way out of this level
43-45
Train at Tunnelers (at this point you may get the 43 quest w/c involves killing Adult tunnelers Reward is a Ring of Mortality worth 1.2m++)
As For chaos players , you can train at Hunchback Grunt Bandaged Leper and Bounty Hunter, i think Bounty hunter quest is for the ROM.

here is a 4 spawn aggressive spot tho there are 4 spawns they are evenly distributed thus making it easier for you and your party.

whoa giant cocKroaches , no these are the adult tunnelers take them on at level 43 to minimize pot usage, if you check out the screenie you can see the superior ones up top.
45-50
(solo)train at Monks in RS

an absolutely good spot for a party you can take on 2 aggressive and 2 passive mobs.
(solo) Train at Wandering Swordman/Blade in Hill Valley
45-50(party)
train at JT1/FT1 there is a safe spot there for a party w/ 2 superior mobs. here you can start to get good gems like ad 15 sa 25 etc etc.

again only if you have a party, If not then try the first one
50-55
Orders train at gangsters here a party is needed if you want to take on sups or if you wanna solo you can go to the 2 spawn aggro site in the middle

heres a good spot for a 5 man cell take them on as you would take monks.
Chaos train at Greenskins there are a lot of mobs here so u might need parties to save on potions.
At level 50, you can train back at JT1 / FT1 with a party or solo , refer to 45-50 train spots since most mobs here are same.
55-60 Train at Juk/Bamboo forest good drops good robes and good exp
I cant take SS since i dont have a map of Bamboo forest so ill just tell you the good spot.
Once you enter Bamboo forest rotate your camera to the right, then go to that path and take left room, here u can see 2 normal bamboo maidens , they give good loots here so have fun ^^.
Gold Tips and Party Tips
P.S. If you really want to gain a lot of gold during this process, then its better to have 2 healers in a party. Basically a good party consists of 3 tanks 3 bow/nuker 2 healers. With this type of party gaining gold is easier and much faster since you can kill more mobs and get more chances for drops.
Simple Tip:
Always look for training buddies, and once you have a lot of training buddies, get them together to form a strong party in w/c you can gain exp faster and get gold faster. Collect friends and add them up the more friends the better. Invite more people to play this game be it real life friends or Online friends who havent played this, all in all to better your SOF experience, then inform your friends about it ^^ (thats what i did lol).
I hope this mob list i made will help. Please feel free to comment or add.

i just added this since it looks nice ^^
