Tales of Pirates A guide to true SealMastery
Apr 2, 2009 Tales of Pirates|2,391views
The Complete SEALMASTER Guide
This guide is designed as a true “Complete Guide to SealMasterâ€
I’m including some things that while not being strictly SealMaster related definitely need to be covered in order to make your SealMaster a well rounded character.
Being a SealMaster means you can pick and choose who you party with. As a SealMaster you carry your own firepower, and your own ability to heal. Not to mention all the cool spells that come with the territory.
I.
Choose Phyllis as your SealMaster character. Yes Ami advances a bit faster in some areas but I’ve tried Ami, and personally I just couldn’t get my head around her appearance, she may be a better character for magic but if you don’t enjoy playing as something, your not going to put the time into it that’s necessary for you to advance.
>> Select Shaitan City as your hometown, this is where your character will be advancing to Herbalist, and later SealMaster, this is also where you will buy all of your skill books and armor so get familiar with the territory:
>>Pay attention to where everything is, and I mean everything: Monsters, Quest givers, Towns, what monsters drop items that you like, when you get the coordinates write them down in a notebook so that you can easily reference them later, this will save you a lot of time, and frustration later in the game.
Levels 1-9
>> Go to the Newbie Guide Resline at (876,3572) Shaitan City, and follow her instructions. Do all of the newbie quests (don’t forget to click on the box in your inventory and equip the free weapons and armor) this will quickly advance you through level 9, at which point your going to select the “Herbalist Promotion” Quest from the Newbie Guide.
>>Also; talk to Newbie Guide for Obtaining Star of Utility this is not going to make any difference until you reach lvl 50 but do it now and equip it in your ring slot you’ll be building it’s percentage levels in the meantime.
>> The guide will now send you to High Priest Gannon located at 862,3500 Shaitan City, where your told to Kill 10 Hopping Lizard and collect 1 Medicated Grass
>>After you’re done go back to High Priest Gannon, he’ll send you to Admiral Nic at (865,3500), she’ll ask for the 1 Medicated grass and give you a document of Righteous Doctrine. Return to High Priest Gannon and you’re an Herbalist! Now click on him again to get a path of the Herbalist quest, these are great for experience points.
>>click that box in your inventory and get your wooden staff and armor.
Now go to the Grocers at (838,3586) Shaitan City, and get your Herbalists books:
Heal-lvl 2
Spirit Bolt-lvl 10
Spiritual Fire-2
Harden-3
Vigor-8
These are levels for an independent fighter.
>>put Heal, Harden, Spirit Bolt, & Spiritual fire in your quick slots by bringing up your skills and click dragging them to the (quick slots) at the bottom of the screen f5-f8. Keep the fingers of your non-mouse wielding hand on your keyboard keys f5-f8, ready to use them at all times when in battle areas.
More helpful Hints:
>> Whether you decide to level up in Ascaron, Deep Blue, or Magical Ocean,
Go to the towns and do the quests given by the towns people, these quests will not only give you experience points while killing monsters to complete them, they will also give you additional (more than the actual killing in most cases) experience points.
>>Go to ALL of the townspeople with a green arrow above their heads and accept all of the quests, sometimes two or more have the same basic request. Your going to kill the wolves anyways, you may as well get experience points, and gold while you do it.
>> Save any New Sheepskin Scrolls you obtain, don’t double click them!
These are Caribbean treasure Maps, when you have a bunch of them go on the Caribbean
Treasure Hunt.
To do this you have to have a boat, go to the Builder @ (901,3668) Shaitan City
don’t run off to treasure Isl. just yet, the pirate ships will kill you in no time.
Use your boat, and new found skill and make a bunch of gold, believe me this is worth it if you want to make money in the game.Â
Don’t try the Caribbean Treasure hunt until your ship is upgraded, I bought a wind seeker when I was a level 40, and did the voyage in that, barely.
>>Another great reason to get a ship and level it up is that you can obtain the “Phyllis Hairstyle Book†from the Lvl 27 skeleton Fish at (104,631) Deep Blue, and even if you don’t want to change your hairstyle (yeah right) these are one of the best drops in the game for selling to other players.
II.
Leveling up to level 40:
Level 17-20 : Owlies (1384, 3065) Ascaron, Naive Snow Dolls (1055, 738) - Deep Blue
Level 18-21 : Smugglers (1624, 3017) Ascaron (These have the best drops, you can really make some money picking up drops here)
Level 20-26 : Rookie Boxeroo (1117, 2923) Ascaron, or the Snow Lady (873,646) Deepblue
Level 27-32 : White Owlies and/or Grassland Elk (1360, 2683) Ascaron or go to Abandon Mine Haven (1920,2818) (Ascaron) Ninja Moles, You should party up here to lvl.-up fast, just make sure your party is serious about leveling, and sharing,
>>at this point start collecting the items that High Priest Gannon is going to ask for when you become a SealMaster:
10 Dangerous Sharp Claws - Stinging Beak (867, 2708) Ascaron
3 Dingle Bells - Crazy Sheep (2266, 590) Deep Blue
3 Hearts of Purity Snow Spirits - (1045,788) Deep Blue
Level 33 - 40 : Ferocious Scorpions (2373, 551) Deep Blue, or go to the Silver Mine (1909,2820) Ascaron
III.
SealMaster BABY!
Go to High Priest Gannon and select the quest “Way of the Seal” , He’ll send you to Priestess Ada at (862, 3303) and she’ll ask you for the items you already collected.
Now that you’re a SealMaster get your skill books:
Divine Grace Lvl 2
True sight Lvl 3
Cursed Fire Lvl 4
Shadow insignia Lvl 4
Seal of Elder Lvl 10
Shadow Insignia Lvl 10
Abyss Mire Lvl 10
>> Keep bringing your Spirit points up to level 75, then you can bring your Con to 35.
At that point Max your Spirit, and then go back and Max your Con.
IV.
Back to Leveling up J yeah it never stops.

Tales of Pirates earn money without set a stall lvl 1-30
Apr 2, 2009 Tales of Pirates|2,425views
once i had this problem too and i constantly read “set a stall” but i couldnt because noone was buying my stuf so i will write some tips
1-10 lvl you dont have to buy anything you dont need money so just lvl up every equipment you have it with the yellow box
10-15 you can kill cuddly lamp (2057,2638) Ascaron and take pure wool from them and go sell it
15-22 you can kill bear cub (1914,2841) aSCARONand take everything they drop then you can sell it right away by speakink to accesory pucan(1889,2811)
22-…….you can kill smugglers(1624,3017)Ascaron and take fake documents
OR you can after lvl 10 go to Blacksmith Goldie 2193, 2706Â Â and buy an axe then you can go at Grocery - Jimberry
2232, 2729 and buy the skill woodcutting equip it and then go to 2144,2693 it is a tree you can cut it (every such a tree gives you 10 ash wood logs each costs 50g) after you cut it go to 2132,2744 another tree and and then go back to the  first tree
Calculations(each tree gives you 500g with 10 trees you will get 5000g)
ill also like to say that if you go kill bear cubs you can clollect blurry bleuprints do NOT throw them away dont sell them to npc either write in the world sell blurry blueprints and see how many will answer then give them to anyone has the bigger offer
many people wants to open them in case they find sandbag blueprint but i say from personal experience
i opened 50 blurry and i got 1 sandbag blueprint in my server (Black Sea)we sell the bp for 2k each and the sandbag for 30-45k so i opened 50=100k and i get 1 sandbag=40k i lost 60k so dont open them sell them!!!!
P.S.One more advice spend your money wisely and collect every item you find everything matters
Tales of Pirates Guide To The Perfect Tank
Apr 2, 2009 Tales of Pirates|2,515views
Pros
TONS of hp
Can solo
Great defense
Wins most of the time in pvp
Tank
Cons
Not much damage at the beginning(Later on though you get to do a decent bit)
When partied you never really get to kill
In The Beginning
Level 1-5
Newbie Guide
Level 5-9
Mini Bee’s (2059, 2753) Ascaron
Level 9-10
Cuddly Lambs  (2057, 2638) Ascaron
I suggest doing the swordsman class up quest at 10 because its much easier with the extra defense you gain from the 5 points you get.
Level 10-17
Killer Cacti (884, 3156) Magical Ocean
Level 17-20
Tree Spirits (884, 3028) Magical Ocean
Level 20-25
Sand Bandits (1339, 3300) Magical Ocean
Level 25-30
Feral Wolves (1473, 3295) Magical Ocean
Level 30-35
Yetis (1495, 667) Deep Blue
Level 35-40
Miner Moles, Mud Monsters, Ninja Moles (Silver Mines)
Level 40-45
Undead Archers (2746, 450) Deep Blue
Level 45-50
Treants (828, 1923) Ascaron
Now for some skills. I suggest saving up until level 25 where you have 16 skill points. This way you can go ahead and get all the skills needed for greatsword mastery and right away when you get to 40.
At level 25 you should get:
Concentration Lvl 2
Sword Mastery Lvl 3
Break Armor Lvl 4
Tiger Roar Lvl 5
Then save up to Level 30 to get:
Illusion Slash Lvl 4
Berserk Lvl 1
These will do just fine until level 40.
At level 40 you should get:
GreatSword Mastery Lvl 10
At level 45 get:
Berserk Lvl 5
BloodBull Lvl 1
And until level 54 keep leveling Bloodbull. Because at level 55 that is when you should get a Tattoo and this will greatly increase your hp and defense.
Level 55:
Strengthen Lvl 1
Continue to increase Strengthen until level 10
Level 65+
This is where you can take a couple different directions. You can go back and max out Berserk or Illusion Slash or Choose something else to max out. It all depends on what you like, and by this point you should be comfortable with making your own decisions to customize your character.
Now to continue on becoming the best champion you can be I suggest a couple things for armor and such.
Get a Sword of Grief and Armor of Revenant at level 35. You will be able to be comfortable with these until you get your tattoo at level 55.
Get a Pure Con Fairy. From the books I have seen so far give it Recover and Meditation.
Get two Crit rate rings. These help tremendously because as a pure con you can’t hit high so you need as big of damage as possible.
Get an SP bonus necklace. You don’t need any more hp than you get so those are pointless, recover rates are fine so those are useless, and physical resist does nothing so far.
Make Buddies with a good Herbalist. This will be extremely good for you. Because they can not onnly boost your defense even more, they can get your attack up too. This way you can tank AND kill!
Thats all you need to know about becoming a Perfect Tank. I hope you enjoyed my guide and If this one goes along well enough I will come up with one that goes all the way to level 100 next time.
Tales of Pirates Power Levelling Guide - Effortless 1- 60 Levels
Apr 2, 2009 Tales of Pirates|2,124views
Newbe read this :-
Power Levelling is to be in a party with a high level char who will do all the killing while u follow him around like a jobless rich kid and grab to all the loads of exp without having to work or it …….
Many of us who already have high level chars and wanna make other chars usually prefer this option ……Now there are 2 ways to do it …i will discuss both of them …..
Method one - DO it YOUR SELF method !!
This require you to have two accounts …one maybe yours and other probably your friend’s who is sleeping and doesnt mind you using his account ….or it can be both urs too
Now what you do is firstly open two clients and log in using both the accounts …BEWARE - Your connections need to be good enuff to handle two clients …hehheÂ
Once you have logged on to both accounts ….
Bring your chars to a same spot and then go to the window of the char u wanna level …and then ALT + Click on your other Char to follow …..so as the other char goes around killing stuff ..u get exp following him ……
Method Two - Pay for it ..or ask a friend
Aah this is simple and hazzle free……just ask your friend or pay some high level char to do it for you …..
Same thing here too ..follow the other char coz u will urself be of no help during power levelling …
Monsters to hunt at various Levels …
Lvl 1 - Lvl 5Â Â -Â Â Go Grass Tortoise lvl 7
Lvl 5 - Lvl 10Â Â -Â Â Combat Piglets Lvl 12
Lvl 10 - Lvl 15 -  Shrooms/Smugglers  ( red ones .dont remeber their name ) Lvl 19
Lvl 15-  Lvl 20 - Boxeroo  Lvl 24 i think
Lvl 20 - Lvl 26 - Mad Boars Lv 30
Lvl 26 - Lvl 39 - Abandon mine ( All monsters..Slay every damn monster in there )
Lvl 39 - Lvl 46 - Treants Lvl 48 …some guys prefer undead warriors in cheldea but the problem being they r less in number so u cant              mob …
Lvl 46 - Lvl 60  - Sakura pirates and others on Chill isle coz these thigns can be mobbed …. Â
Personally This is better then orthodox power leveling which most people do moving from one city to the other killing different monster ….AS the list above  has monsters in only one city starting ur way frm argent outskirts and u keep moving left wards preventing the need to keep teleporting from one place to other …..
By this time your already high level and shud now start doing things on your own ….>_< or else it others playing the game for u and not urself playing and ur wasting the point of the game to enjoy …….!!!!
Note - There should be a level difference of not more then 9 levels between monsters you kill for good exp …….killing monsters of a lvl difference gr8er then 9 does not help and is useless …..so dont waste  your time in it …..
