EVE Online: GDC 2010 Fighting RMT
Mar 15, 2010 Wonderland, eve online|2,013views
The Game Developers Conference always gives reporters to meet up with a large number of developers at the same time to conduct interviews and take part in demonstrations. So much so that we occasionally lose scope on the fact that this show is actually about developers getting together to share their successes and failures with one another all in the hopes of making the games industry that much stronger.
It is with that in mind that we sat in on a lecture given by EVE Online’s Lead Economist, affectionately known as Dr. Eyjo. While we’re most used to hearing the good doctor (PhD, not MD) talk directly about the game’s economy, today he was talking about Real Money Traders and the various strategies that CCP has been using to combat them.
The talk began by looking at three basic questions about real money trading:
- Why does it exist?
- Why go after it?
- What is the best way?
The answer to the first question is disturbingly simple. Players want stuff and to get stuff, they need money. Real Money Traders exist within games because of basic supply and demand. When there is a demand for something, there will always be someone that steps up to fill that need.
The answer to the second question is a little bit more complicated, but no less obvious to people who spend a lot of time playing MMOs. First and foremost, it breaks the gameplay. The most popular way for sellers to get their hands on the product that they’re peddling is to use bots to farm or abuse exploits. Neither is a case of the game being played as intended. RMT also hurts the in-game economy. By bringing in extra resources and currency, it simply changes the relative scarcity of items, and thus alters their price. Then there’s the fact that RMT dealers also often engage in illegal activities including credit card fraud and hacking. Finally, and possibly most surprising at least from a player’s point of view is the fact that RMT dealers actually put a noticeable strain on a game’s resources and systems both human (Customer Support) and hardware.
EVE Online, we were told, combats these RMTers in a number of ways. First, by trying to work toward taking the demand away by adding 30 day pilot’s licence extensions, otherwise known as PLEX. PLEX is basically an EVE Online 30 day time card which can be purchased either within the game, or directly from CCP. These PLEX codes can then be bought and sold in-game using in-game currency.
The result is that players who have a lot of time to dedicate to the game and to earning ISK (in game currency) could use their hard earned money to buy more game time, thus essentially playing for free while at the same time, players who might not have as much free time are able to use their real money to earn ISK in a much more structured and sanctioned way. The key point here is that in this way, the players who were creating the demand for the products that are made available by the RMT dealers are able to satisfy their demand and the game’s economy is left unscathed.
EVE Online, as a game that relies incredibly heavily on a player driven economy is especially interested in fighting RMT in their game. To do that, they needed a good battle plan, and the tools to make it work.
In the end, the team at CCP began a program that they called “Unholy Rage,” a campaign designed to take the RMT element out of their game. To do this, they had to dedicate GM, research and software resources to the cause. This allowed them to research and analyze behaviour patterns, create tools to detect and remove RMT elements then to continue to monitor and analyze the data.
In the Fall of 2008, CCP took this program for its first test drive, banning over 3,000 accounts. On June 22nd, after revising their strategies, CCP banned a further 6200 accounts. Since that date, they have handed out over 30,000 bans under this system. It should be noted, however, that many of these 30,000 bannings were repeat offenders who had to be banned multiple times.
In the end, CCP has seen their CPU dropped 30% for the 2% of the population that was banned, players now have better access to and experiences in systems that may have been completely overrun by farmers and bots, and the economy has been strengthened.
So, the next time you ask yourself if companies are really doing anything to get rid of those pesky bots, know that it effects their bottom lines to have those folks in there and they want them gone just as bad as you do.

Hirotsu’s guide to making lots of easy money!
Jul 9, 2009 Wonderland|981views
Heyas, I basically am bored as hell right now 6 a.m in the morning got back from a party and still not sleepy, so I figure I’d make a nice guide for those people who have a hard time making money.  Basically this guide will not be for everyone, but for those that need advices or things they never thought they could do, this is for you.  Our basic goal is to turn effort into big money.  Starting with little $Money$ to big amounts of it.
I’ll start with introducing myself.  My Main character in game is Hirotsu, but everyone just calls me Hiro. Probably just ‘cuz it’s easier as hell to say.  Anyway, I’ve been playing this game since I think beginning of June.  I’m currently level 93 with a bunch of alts.  I fell in love to this game, because it’s easy to be lazy as hell.  Seriously, you remote you leave, bam.  I used all these steps to make money that I have now.  I have spent a ton of it as well, but I do have near 2 mil at the moment.  Remind you I don’t use Item Mal points much, only 5$ here just enough for an E.Remote for training.  Other wise I’ve bought everything else Item Mall related with the money I’ve made in the game.  IM Armors, books, etc.  I guarantee you will also make a lot of money if you follow this guide.  I hope everyone makes a lot of money and enjoy this game as much as I have, and not get discouraged because others are richer than you are.
There are a few ways of making money in this game, I’ll break the topics down to Vendoring, Crafting, Hunting, trading, buy/sell and Saving.
Vendoring:
For NOOBS* this is the most basic and simplest and most obvious way of making money in almost any game. Starting off as a noob basically and highly suggest to just sell every damn thing you get.  Figure out which area you are in and move around to the area you can kill a lot of and gain exp on.  Check and compare the items you collect and just sell everything on the NPC.
Now I say sell everything on NPC, because at this point, you have no idea what’s good and what’s bad, what’s to collect for compounds etc.  So instead of cluttering you inventory and or throwing them away, just vendor them all.  Besides at this point, you really don’t need much of anything.  I highly recommend for you to focus on leveling up and selling everything, these are small fry items from now until 50.  Aim high
Crafting:
This part is very tedious and definitely require a lot of time, patience and hard work.  I don’t recommend this for anyone who don’t have a grasp of the game yet, is a low-level which is below 40’s with their Main* or still don’t have a good amount of pocket change in their wallets.  As for those who are a little bit advanced in the game, continue through.

Crafting will make you a ton of money most definitely, but in order to do so, you have to be able to understand your server’s economy.  Which I mean is by taking the time with an alt ( You should always keep your main on remote and leveling, this will assure you of better drops/easier things to farm etc.) and exploring different shops/tents in SB ( starter beach) and in Kelan of all the different channels in the server you plan on.  Notice the people around you server, what kind of players are mostly there.  What items have you notice sell quickly.  Use this knowledge to produce and craft items that people will most likely buy immediately.

*The faster items sell, the faster you can put up a new one for someone to buy.*
Don’t create items because that’s all you know how to create and hope to sell them.  Absolutely waste of time if you want to make fast money.  You’ll be selling low level gear etc for a few measly 100s of golds, don’t waste your time.  Take your time and save save save, until you can create higher level gear 40+ items.  You will notice yourself that they do sell a lot faster than low level items.  Not to mention a bigger profit.
Take the time to always keep your World Chat on, on your alt that’s traveling and window shopping.  You’ll see and notice people who are constantly needing items.  Keep a mind check of those of high in demand.
These are some of the things I personally know sell fast.:
-Level 10+ Bows
-Level 30+ Armors
-Level 40+ Weapons
-Level 30+ SPD gear ( this is for the Pvpers, they sell like pan cakes)
-Vehicles *Planes/Jalors/Boats ( they will always sell)
-Consumables ( HP and SP food)
*Make yourself 2 accounts sometime and farm Chickens and other important things your Main will never do.* Chickens drop lot’s of Rice/Barley/Seeds/Chickens/Eggs.  Basically a heaven for food.  Cook these items with a Glaze table and make lots of profit, when you sell them, or use them for yourself.  Collect every seeds you can find, pick them up even from the floor, that’s quality gold right there.
-Make your 2 accounts also be Syrup makers.  Make 2 sets of Fences, French Windows, Turfs and Perterre ( turf with flowers).  Give 1 of each to your makers and give them a ton of your seeds and start making Fruits!  Make one of them a Manual Blender as well so you can use these Fruits to make Syrups.  The reason you make all these items, is to assure you that you make the most amount of fruits at a time, instead of only 10 you’ll get 40.  Spend even 1 whole day just to making these syrups.  Once you get a bunch, put up shelves in your tents and sell them while you’re making!  Don’t overprice, I repeat do not overprice on farmed and crafted items, you want to keep producing and selling, just walk around and compare and under price.  Once people have notice your store, they will come back for more in the future.
*I would just like to update and add, that thanks to Version 3, an item called MILL.  Which is now available.  It allows a player to create a full stack of any stackable items you can manufacture.  I highly suggest for EVERYONE to make a Mill.  It’s amazing for making Syrups as well.  It also stacks with other reduction times such as Clocks and the Wind Mill.  -To use, go to any item you want to create over time and before you click confirm to create, look down at the bottom left corner and it should say 1.  Easily change it to max 50 and make sure you have enough materials for it.  Leave it over night and voila!  Highly suggest to use PC and Maid Robot if you want to become serious in production.
Hunting:
This part is very simple and easy, but with a little twist.  From what we’ve learned we have to always sell what the consumer demands the most.  Hunting for specific materials that you’ve noticed people always need and vendors never sell, can get you a good amount of money$$.  For NOOBS* collect simple materials people often use to craft. Make 2 Accounts specifically who does your work for you.  Like the same ones who farms in the chicken farms and make syrups.  If you aren’t on that stage yet, Make your 2 Accounts farm inside Kelan Cave for ores.  Go in the first floor and just Auto for a long time.  Go to sleep come back, do whatever come back.  The key is keeping the accounts running.  After you collect, Vendor them all on the NPC and save all Alluminum Ores you get.  I can tell you now that these sell for a good amount on crafters and maybe for yourself later on.
As far as the next part, Hunting for Pets.  As you keep on leveling, you’ll notice a bunch of other people wanting cute, fuzzy and some for saddle-required pets.  If you keep your main leveling, you’ll be able to do this next part easily.  *know what pets in your server wants a lot of, spend maybe a few hours on the weekends when it’s crowded to do this.  Set your save spot in a rare distant town such as China/Japan/South pole etc.  And call out in world that you are selling a pet from the save spot you have.  The higher level you are the better this works.  Save your point in Japan.  PK the White horse and sell them in World Chat, Call out “Selling>> White Horse for only 5k PM!!” This will guarantee you that you will have a buyer before you tame an animal.  Don’t go too far for a place people wont want to buy pets on.  Stick with sellable pets people will buy, or you’ll get stuck with random pets with you.  This tactic works very very well.  You will notice people will whisper you for this specific pet, but you will only have 1 of this type to sell at a time. Your best bet is to let the others know to meet you in SB, and you will catch them a fresh pet real quick.  This process has earned me of at least 200k in 1 day of a few hours easily.  Here are some of the pets I suggest that sells very fast.  Btw, don’t forget to lower the price if they asked for it, these pets are easy to get! Don’t stoop low and be greedy.

Pandas- China
Tigers-China
White Horse- Japan
Foxes- Japan
Horses-Korea
White Wolves- South Pole
Dino’s- Oslya
SnowMan- South Pole
*Keep in mind that you need to be at least 5 levels below the pet you are trying to tame in order to tame them.  Otherwise you’ll be wasting your time.
Trading:
This part is self-explanatory, but the trick here, is to make sure you always get the best out of the bargain.  Look for people in world chat (as it should always be on 24/7 on your alts) who are looking for something you have that you can get or make easily of, or maybe something you don’t particularly use much.  Use this opportunity to trade it for something they have, ask them what they can offer for it, if it’s money cool, don’t worry this is a good time to over charge on it.  For me if it’s something you kind of use or still in-use it’s okay to over charge on, especially if you have a guaranteed buyer for it.  This might sound greedy, but in-fact you are going out of your way to sell an item you still have use for.  Unlike something you get or make specifically for selling.  Try to trade an item from them you can benefit from, furniture/diamonds/etc.  Or perhaps an item you can use soon, or something you can make value of and sell in your store.  Know your economy well, it goes a long way.
Buy/Sell:
This part is for the noobs until the real pros, at least I suggest for.  At this stage you can make tons and tons of money.  I have been using this tactic to make money for almost every game I’ve ever played, and it’s never failed me before, and I’ve made so much money non-stop.  At this point you should have a great grasp of almost everything we have talked about.  You should also have a considerable amount of money.  But if you have a few that’s okay as well.  As we talked about knowing your economy, Buy/Sell tactic earns you almost if not 50% profit to over 100% profit, depending on how you do it.  Look around different tents and vendors and spot the key* items that are cheap, easily sell able, high-in-demand and understandably easy to over price on.  This is to target the unknowing people of the game who sell their items too low and those who want to get rid of their items already.  Please don’t consider this as scamming or anything like that, that’s way beyond it’s purpose.  We cannot help it if people sell their items for cheap right?  All that we are doing is doing them a favor by buying it from them, and reselling for a price of our own.  Consider yourself a self Pawn-shop if you may.
A great way to spot cheap items, is to go through all of them from Starter beaches to Kelan villages in all channels.  Don’t just buy something you think is good, wait awhile until you’ve swept them all and compared prices, unless of course it’s something so rare that the price is so ridiculous, then just go for it.  Again this phase is for those who have great knowledge of the economy and know how to make money from the other steps.
How do you know what items are good to sell or not?  Well it all depends on your surroundings, look for crafted items people seldom make and sell.  Don’t hesitate to take risks.  Buy an Item you know no one else is selling and understand it’s value to a player.  Be the consumer.  Know when someone will want it and why.  Look for reasons why it’s good and why it isn’t.  With that, purchase the item.  These are some of the items that are great for reselling:

-Level 40+ Crafted Armors
-Level 40+ Crafted Weapons  ( Stick with Atk/Spd Matk/Spd Pure Spd gears )
-Item Mall Items ( some people get desperate for money and buy IM MALL items and sell them, keep an eye out for these, they are valued for so much, they’re easily resold)
-Vehicles ( Rare vehicles, Cars,Robots etc. Even Planes and Jalors if you find a good price)
-Alchemy Books ( this is a bulk for Alchemists, easily sold as well as overpriced )
-Alch Items *Study the Alchemy compounded items and know which items can be made for higher items, these are items that can be easily and cheaply bought from the unknowing and resold to High level Alchemists.  They wont stop to buy an item they know they need to create something of higher value, or maybe make it for your self.

Don’t over price too much that’s it’s just plain silly, remember, people will buy items from you and try to bargain with you, so you start high and still win even with their bargain.  Don’t get antsy and sell an item so cheap and you loose money, have patience with it, the items you bought will sell in time, just as long as you don’t go below the price you bought it for.  ** Level 50+ Items are easily Overprice able, especially on SPD gear.  Grab one of the SPD gears and just test out an over price.  Watch it go in a few hours or so, leaving you with 100s of thousands of profit.  Don’t be shy to put your current gear up for sale for ridiculous amounts of price, if they don’t sell fine, if they do amazing.  But you have to make sure you know how to get them back, either buying from someone or crafting it.  *Know when to sell and not to sell, either way you win.  I’ve personally made 100s of thousands in this process and I’ve gotten so much profit off of it.  Again, it isn’t scamming because this is the buyer’s discretion, they don’t need to buy it, but others do want it badly, so they demand it, you supply it, simple as that.
Saving:
Last and certainly not the least, saving.  This is a very obvious and very self-explanatory way to making money.  SAVE SAVE SAVE!!  Here are the Do’s and Don’t s.

Do’s:
-Use your money wisely, and I mean wisely.
-Remember that it’s easy to make money when you HAVE money.
-Give yourself a Goal of savings and try to reach it.
-Store large even amounts of Gold on Alts that you never use.  These should cut your temptations down by a lot
-Buy equipment you will use for a very long time, End-Game items.
-Buy only needed must-have items, and I don’t mean I have to have it ‘cuz it’s cute on me.  When you’re rich you can do whatever you like with it, until then, only look but no touchy touch
-Ask yourself a few times if you are sure this is the item you want.
-Make wise decisions before you purchase and understand if you will and can make a profit when you are done using this item or when you try to resell it.
-Buy Items from NPC’s to wear while leveling up until you’re 50+ and you got money to spare on crafted items.

Don’t s:
-Don’t fall for temptations.
Ex. Don’t spend anything until I’ve saved 100k.
-Don’t be stupid.
-Don’t upgrade every single level.  You’re wasting money, and good luck reselling them.  You don’t need the best gear to level up.
-Don’t be stupid
-Don’t be too nice to and start lending people money you don’t know, until you’re secure with your own first.  Make sure you trust them.
-Don’t fall for the signs “SALE, CHEAP, !!!!!”  Check before you buy.
-Don’t be stupid
-Don’t buy items because you are bored.    Like me.
-Don’t be stupid.
-Don’t Buy things you can easily farm for.
-Don’t be stupid.
-Don’t, just don’t be stupid lol.  Most of this will be common sense when you get the hang of things.
Well that’s about it, it’s getting pretty damn late right now and I think I’m about to pass out lol.  Thanks for your time and my blabbering and hope you enjoy and maybe learn a few things here and there.  Feel free to post some comments and suggestions, and I’ll be willing to update anything on it.  This is a guide to further help the players make the most out of the game.  Let’s all help one another and have fun making money!  Hehe, I sound so pathetic right now, I know I’ll kick myself for saying all these cutesy words, and making such a long guide, But whatever, I probably won’t even remember this lol.  In any matter thanks again and good luck!! See ya!

The game interface has been streamlined in many areas making it more efficient. In addition, two new maps have been added to the game, Coronado and Castle Corona. The Outpost Castle Corona and its battle map Coronado have been added to the middle of the Pandea map chain, specifically at the map, Sunshine Born.
All-New Slot Machine and Expanded Cash Item Shop
A slot machine has been added to the game to provide more prizes to players. Players simply purchase tokens and insert them into the slot machine to win various prizes. Some of these prizes include new Gear armor, S-type recovery kits, and even some cash shop items. In addition, the ACE Online Cash Shop has been expanded to include the sale of buff items that remain on a player’s character for an extended period of time and will stay active until it’s time expires. The cash shop has also been expanded to accommodate the slot machine and all related items.
ACE Online is part of the Suba Games library of free MMOs.

Mysterious Islands in Mediterranean:
The new map - the Mediterranean in Version 4.0 is on the top of Egypt.
In this map, there are so many small but mysterious islands just waiting to be explored.Â
The Mediterranean is definitely the place to be if you like adventure.
Two major points of interest are the Hanging Gardens and Athens.
Go and enjoy the fantastic adventure in these mysterious islands!

On the left of the Mediterranean, there is one long island looks like a big turtle, so we call it the Turtle Isle in the game! Obviously, this is an island covered by countless turtles. However, you’d better not look down upon them, they are really strong so players whose level are less than 80 will not be able to defeat them.

Heading over to the left of the Mediterranean, players will reach the Relic Island which may at first seem desolate. However, looks can be deceiving. Players can go to the Water Passage underground! This is another new map in the Version 4.0.

Players can enjoy the wonderful view of the sea even if they don’t have a submarine. But they should take care around the fish in there. They are not just pretty but also dangerous.

At the end of the passage, there is the Seabed Palace, the base of the Trace Sealord. However, players should find the Sealord’s location by themselves.
They also should pay close attention to the Gurnards and other unknown dangers of the sea.

Wonderland A Guide & Survey On PROFESSIONS

Assassin
Assassin, Murderer, Killer:  Heavy hitters, this class excels in laying waste to its enemies dealing blow after blow of shield-breaking, bone crushing force.  Typical Assassin builds consist of Massive strength with a bit of Constitution and Agility thrown in for good measure.
After selecting this profession, Assassin gain a marked Attack increase.
Recommended Stats: STR
Assassinate Skill:Â Â Strike while an Enemy is debuffed, doing massive damage at 2000+.
Weapon:Â Â Atk 30, Spd 20
Equipment:Â Â Atk 15, Spd 10
Samurai
Samurai, Warrior, Tank:  These guys are tough, tougher than though.  They chew nails for breakfast and motor oil to wash it down.  Impressive Hitpoints and strength only surpassed by the Assassin, the Samurai is a force to be reckoned with, and probably the last one standing in a fierce battle.  Constitution and Strength, with a bit of wisdom for an extra Assist Spell, or two.
After assuming the role of a Samurai, a vast hitpoint pool and greater defenses are your reward.
Recommended Stats: CON/STR
Shield of the Temple Skill:Â Â Reflects enemy Magic attack, up to 2000 damage for two rounds.
Weapon:Â Â 30 Def, 20 Atk
Equipment:Â Â 15 Def, 10 Atk
Knight
Knight, Ninja, Blur:  Riders in the storm, these guys are fast on their feet and will strike you where you are most vulnerable, before you have a chance to recover.  Strategy and speed are this jobs mainstay and it can prove a deadly combination.  Agility is key to this build, with some Strength and Constitution so they can make the most of their cunning.
Donning the Knight’s Mantle will give you speed and another nice feature:Â Â The ability to get the benefits of riding saddles without using a saddle.
Recommended Stats: AGI/STR
Knight Spirit Skill:Â Â Increases defense for three party members against enemy debuffs for three rounds, starting immediately.
Weapon:Â Â 30 Spd, 20 Atk
Equipment:Â Â 15 Spd, 10 Def
Sage
Sage, Mage, Caster, Nuke(r), Black Mage:  Just as powerful as an Assassin, but their weapon of choice is the spell over the sword.  As their god’s most favoured subjects, they have mastered the elements to bend their opponents to their will, or death.  A sage’s build can often compare to an Assassin, but in place of Strength they have gained Intelligence, with a bit of Wisdom for lasting power.  Speed can be placed to keep in step with the rest of the group.
Learning the ways of the Sage bring you great Magical Attack.
Recommended Stats: INT
Curse Skill:Â Â Increases enemy target’s damage recieved to 150%
Weapon:Â Â MAtk 30, MDef 20 (?)
Equipment:Â Â MAtk 15, MDef 10
Clergyman
Clergyman, Cleric, Priest, Monk, White Mage:  A healing touch of a Clergyman can make or break a mission.  The Clergyman is capable of great miracles in the name of their cause, with complete mastery over their Assisting Spells.  Wisdom is recommended with this build, with an impressive Constitution (comparable to an Assassin or Sage) in order to stave off the enemies advance.
Clergy are given great amounts of Magic Defense to persist in battles and reign in those magic users.
Recommended Stats: WIS/INT
Rest (in Peace) Skill:Â Â For five rounds, restricts revival of fallen target enemy.
Weapon:Â Â MDef 30, MAtk 20 (?)
Equipment:Â Â MDef 15, Spd 10
Prophet
Prophet, Oracle:  Little is known of the Prophet’s true power, only that it is related to an ability to foresee future events.  They are less sturdy than the others, and they aren’t necessarily as adept at their skills as Sages or Clergymen, but what they lack in power, they gain in Speed.  They are usually only a little slower than the Knight, ready to provide Healing or Hurting at a moments notice.
Prevention is the key to survival, and this Job’s speed helps ensure that you are prepared, every round.
Recommended Stats: AGI/INT
Prediction Skill:Â Â Any player not affected by debuffs that is targeted with the spell Prediction will be released from any debuff placed on them for the next two rounds.
Weapon:Â Â Spd 30, MAtk 20 (?)
Equipment:Â Â Spd 15, MAtk 10

This is the Map of Wonderland as you can see where Hawaii is located.

Sail from here:

As you can see on my mini map there, just follow the arrow on way to hawaii ^^

You wont miss the store!

Materials for compound that are sold there are these, and all rank 18

I hope it helps out a bit for those who were wondering where to get this kinds of
materials ^^.  You can also find some people sell these items at Aries 1 stores for
a cheaper prize since they can be bought with VIP cards.
Wonderland Make Yellow Mantel/Golden Hatchet
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|1,285views
a yellow mantel, or Golden Hatchet here is a mini guide hope it helps
It may cost a bit, so I recommend you do it slowly and also use Vip Cards from time to time
if you can purchase IM or buy from someone
Waste Money at ur own risk!
Yellow Mantel +20mdef +12def
Golden Hatchet +62 Attack -10speed
Rank 28Gold+Rank28Steel+book 1 Or 2
Rank 28Gold=Gold Iron Boots
Steps on making rank 28gold:
We are going to need a few 8-12 items
(junior or superior alchemy for best)
Refined gold+ iron net shoes (from egypt)+Fine Crystal will give you gold
helmet(rank 20gold).  Its not 100% success to get it, you can also get common stones (we all hate those),
but prepare yourself with atleast a few sets to try ^^.

So we are going to need Rank 20Grass, which is a Red Gown. There’s 2 ways to make it:
Either: (with junor or superior alch)Fine Grass+fine golden Flower (8-12 store)
Or other color/Grass
Which will most likely fail and give tons of other grass materials which you dont
need at all. Â
(IMPORTANT to do this step on primary alchemy)Or Fine Grass+Black jade
Or other color
This will most likely give you a gown, either red, black or wooden.  If you get any other color
recompound with a black jade until you get yourself the red gown.
Now we got a Gold Helmet & a Red gown which will make rank 23gold
Sky Crown

(junior or superior alch)I highly recommend the book 1 on this recipe, because it will not fail at all.  With no book
it probably fail.
Now, a goblin halbred its needed.
Yes it can fail up a bit
The way to do it would be. Skeleton Iron sword+vertical wing(primary alchemy)

skeleton iron sword: iron shoes+wolf tooth+iron shoes (from egypt)
If you fail alot on this part >_<, might as well find yourself one on A1 for 15k
or such :/ because goblin can fail a bit much.
Also, incase you get from this a footsman helm recompound it with a vertical wing
on junior or superior alch.
So finally, we are at the last step on making Rank 28 gold. I really recommend
junor or superior alchemy, not primary
That would be:
SkyCrown+Goblin Halbred+book3=Golden iron Boots

Rank 28Steel=Steel Armor
Theres a few threads on how to make this armor I believe, but the one I use mostly
its: thorn pestle(rank24steel)+emerald necklace(rank 24 jade)+book1 (junior or superior)

Pestle is sold on A1 for like 15k, or you can make your own with a skeleton
steel sword+vertical wing.(junior or superior)Â Â It can give you tons of other steel items though, but
that can actually sell for good cash or help to make other items ^^.
So finally this is the very last step.
You will put, Gold Iron boots+steel armor+book 1 OR 2(Junior Or Superior)
Book 1 works and book 2any will do. You can get either or items so goodluck.

Wonderland LEVELING WELL WITHOUT ADVANCED REMOTE P2
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|2,746views
This method is for leveling at Cirrus, and Oslya, so you should be level 30+ or able to sit train at Cirrus. Also, you need to add points to your CON, so that you will level easier. You must have minimum CON of 40 to be able to level easily. Earth warriors are at advantage using this method because of their high CON and HP.
From level 30- 42, the best way to level is at Cirrus, at least for me. I still got around 100+ exp at level 50ish when I trained my level 35 Roca. You can compound and recycle the drops into harl grass and tomato juice. If you don’t have much patience, just sell it to NPC. The drop rate here is very high, so you can get a lot of money simply by selling the drops to NPC.
Use the money to buy sliced food or raw fish if you have glaze table/ kitchen range. Use it to help you level up. When I was training at Cirrus, I could sell the drops up to 3k, if my slots are empty. Then I bought food. Browse around for better price.  Or better yet, if you have turf + parterre + French window + fence + manual blender, make mango/ apple juice. I used juice to level up from level 33- 36. If you don’t have the things I mention, spend some time to make them. They are useful and beautiful, a very nice way to decorate your house.
If you don’t already have glaze table and crude oil equipment, save about 50k. Save 500g to the bank every time you sell your stuff to NPC.  After some time, you will have enough gold. Of course it’s cheaper to build your own, but I’m lazy that way.
After you and your pet are level 42, you can try leveling at Oslya. This is where the fun begins.   It’s better if you have glaze table by now for more effective leveling. The advantage of glaze table far outweighs its price. With glaze table, you’ll need less raw material, and more importantly, less firewood which is a very expensive commodity now. It uses gas, which is made by crude oil equipment. 1 firewood = 3 gas. Gas is made by crude oil equipment.
As comparison for 3 slice beef/roast beef:
Kitchen range needs: 3 beef + 1 firewood
Glaze table: 2 beef + 1 gas (1/3 firewood)
If you aren’t strong enough to fight the raptors that come by 2, you better level at starfish and seaflowers. Cook the fishes you get there. Â
Some people suggest train sit at disguise chameleon or snake at Oslya. I don’t recommend it because you cannot autowalk there, you’ll meet Drowcrusher AKA T-Rex levl 90 and you’ll die or get your equips broken. You get more exp at cirrus or starfish because you can get more fights and therefore more exp. Plus, you can get food at starfish and devil spar pieces. You can fight sheep, but there are too many KSers, there, so you can’t AFK without having your sport taken most of the time.
Then try to find a spot to train sit outside of Oslya. Look around for better fights, experience, according to your element. Cook the food you get there.
After level about 48, depends on you CON and STR, try to go inside of raptor cave, find a spot to train sit.  At first, sit in the first part of the cave with 3 raptors. Cook the food you get there.
After that, sit at the 2nd part of the cave where the raptors come by 4. It has decent spawn and my favorite place to train. Again cook the food you get.
When you are looking around for a spot, you must have met the raptor mobs that come by 5 at once. DO NO AUTOWALK until you’re sure you can face them without getting killed.
How to save food you get so you can cook them first:
Open the remote and your item slot.
Look at the Auto Supply After Battle. Supply from. _ to _
It means that it will take the food you store at certain slots. The default number is from 1 to 50. It means that it will take food you store at your slot from slot 1 to slot 50. Since you have 50 slots in your body that means it will take any food from any slot of your body. Since the drop will go to the first empty slot, and the auto supply will also take food from first food slot it can find, your food drop will be eaten before you have the chance to cook it.
Here’s how to work around that:
Put your cooked food, or any food you don’t mind getting eaten to the lowest slots of your body. Then set the remote to take food beginning from the first slot with the cooked food:
Then your newly dropped raw meat will go to first slots, and you will only eat food from slots you want. You will have the chance to cook the raw food from the drops. Also, you can sell food and dops you don’t need to NPC (like snake meat and tooth)
HAPPY LEVELING!  Â
Wonderland LEVELING WELL WITHOUT ADVANCED REMOTE P1
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|995views
My guildmates say I level quite well (without bursting or advanced remote). .  So I think I’ll share this tips to those who doesn’t have any means to advanced remote or don’t know how too lazy to do bursting. Of course bursting, especially with advanced remote is still the fastest way to level up. With this method you’ll only progress moderately fast (for some people’s standard anyway) and you’ll need to be AFK a lot. . Â
I will divide this guide into 2 parts. This first part is about basic stuff I thought everyone know already but apparently not. .
- Use high def armors.
No need to buy expensive ones if you don’t have money, just choose the highest amount of def. High def = less food.
Use belly necklace/Â Â Â Â armlets on pets to prevent them from getting killed easily. - Use bow for yourself and pet (except Elin)!
This one, buy at all cost, though I recommend browsing for better price.
Best one for leveling is sun bow, which price ranges from 4-6k. I use my bow from level 30- now. - Before you AFK, set the remote and watch it for about 15 mins.
You can see how  you fare against the mobs, if you are strong enough to fight against them, or if you get enough exp, or if there are many KSer in that spot, or anything that might be useful. - There is no sure way to set up combo because even until now I cannot fully  understand how speed works in WLO. Even with exact same speed, me and my  pets don’t always combo. But adjusting your speed to at least similar  speed helps you getting more combo.
- Prepare  enough food to last you through the time you AFK.
And set up remote to  leave when you are out of food to prevent you & your pets from getting  killed. - I cannot stress is enough BUT PLEASE SET YOUR REMOTE TO LEAVE AFTER CERTAIN TIMES YOUR PETS GETTING KILLED TO PREVENT YOUR PETS AMITY GOES DOWN THE  DRAIN!!!!  .  Amity is expensive, so use it wisely.
This is the basic stuff that all players must know and understand before I move on to the second part. Please tell me what you think. Â
Wonderland guide to making lots of easy money!
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|1,063views
Aim high
Â
Use this knowledge to produce and craft items that people will most likely buy immediately.Â
Take the time to always keep your World Chat on, on your alt that’s traveling and window shopping.  You’ll see and notice people who are constantly needing items.  Keep a mind check of those of high in demand. Â
Â
Â
Â
-Buy Items from NPC’s to wear while leveling up until you’re 50+ and you got money to spare on crafted items.Â
Don’t s:
-Don’t fall for temptations. Â
Ex. Don’t spend anything until I’ve saved 100k.     Â
-Don’t be stupid.
-Don’t upgrade every single level.  You’re wasting money, and good luck reselling them.  You don’t need the best gear to level up. Â
In any matter thanks
Wonderland how to make Jade Helmet
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|819views
First compound Black Jade+ Black Jade= Red Jade Necklace,Emerald Necklace,Water Necklace and Dragon Wand.( sometimes you get Black Jade back but rarely :[)
When compound Black Jade+ Black Jade we will be lookinig for a Red Jade Necklace we are goin to compound that with other materials to make the Jade Helmet.(Primary and Junior works )
Second would be let see.. Wolf Bracers+ Purple Jade= Titanium(rank 10),Defensive Armor and Dark Helmet ( Try using Junior alchemy for this compound)
Once you compound Wolf Bracers+Purple Jade We will be looking for the Dark Helmet. Okay Good we got one
Now you Go to your house and make some Propellers rank 20(You make it with the Rope Saw) or buy some and  get your dark helmet then you compound it in this Order
Dark Helmet + Propeller = Titanium Sword or Gray Steel Bracers(JUNIOR ALCHEMY)( This pretty much work everytime failed once ever 20-30 compounds i would say but not sure)
Okay if you made your Titanium Sword and have a Red Jade Necklace compound them  in this order.
Titanium Sword + Red Jade Necklace= Jade Helmet( USE JUNIOR ALCHEMY FOR THIS) Honestly it fails quite a bit but if it works you could sell them for 25-30k :)
And thats how you make a Jade Helmet
Ill add more :[ compound once i stop being lazy Also any suggestion on how to make this more easy let me know :)
Wonderland The Best Way to Compound Magnets
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|1,058views
this guide is for everybody who wants to make magnets
u need magnets for making magnet stone
magnet stones are fuel for a UFO
what do u need for this?
-a jalor (for travelling to Inca and South Pole)
-lvl 55+ soo u can fight at South Pole (without breaking eq)
1. first u need to get is wolf tooths
ps u need many stacks
u travel to the South Pole with a jalor (or plane etc)
u will need to fight wolves inside the cave
if u cant fight wolves because of low lvl , just buy them for 25g each
2. second u need to travel to inca
u will get on the black spotÂ
walk the whole black line till u get to the gates of inca
walk straight on till u get to the stairs
go into the weapon shop
next u buy alot of silvery shoes
170 each
here the compounding starts
(use primary alchemy to be sure)
the recipe is
silvery shoe + wolf tooth = magnet
(also cypress wood and gasoline work but i suggest u use wolf tooth)
u will get magnet, white silvery, silvery shoes and common stone
and very rare a silvery ring
if u get white silvery, silvery shoes or silvery ring
re-compound them with wolf tooth till u get magnets
now u can compound ur own magnets for less than 170 gold
normally magnets are around 800 gold each (aries)
so now u can save 630 gold for every magnet
Alchemy Lessons: Level 2 (High Level Equips)
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|581views
High Level Equips
Ok so you read the first lesson and now you know HOW alchemy works. Heck you even know how to make some of your own stuff now. But, After around rank 22 It gets harder. Rank 22 because you can buy rank 18 materials at the 8-12 store. Also, there are those items you find that no matter what you can only get that average rank thats 5 or more lower. And WTH is up with those equips that are like Nylon / (Flower) (Steel)?
Concept:
When you get up into the higher level equipment alchemy is SUPPOSED to get harder. Sometimes scary hard. You sit there thinking, “i don’t wanna use my EQUIPS to make something… what if i fail!?!?!?!?” You are going to. It happens to everyone. Also, for the higher level equips your only choice is to use other equips. Each equips counts as it’s base material at that rank. So, Fly Clothes (Rank 27 Nylon / (Flower)) counts as a rank 27 Nylon in a future compound. Ok you may also be thinking something like, “Evil Gown!!! WTF is Nylon / (Flower)(Grass)(Magic) supposed to mean!?!?!?!” It’s a order series for a more complex compound.
Breakdown:
Ok so now you understand that on the higher compounds you aren’t going to get anything like a rank 25 tiger skin for a leather compound. You have to use another equips that’s leather based. But you look at something like the Evil gown and give up. It’s actually not that hard. You open your compounding screen and you see multiple slots. All you need to do if fill the slots with the correct materials in the order listed. So for the Evil Gown above you would do Nylon (First) + Flower (Second) + Grass (Third) + Magic (fourth). It’s that simple.
Books:
This is an AMAZINGLY essential part of High level compounding. Ok, again say you are compounding the above, Evil Gown (Rank 32), but all you can get for materials average out to rank 27 (-5) no matter what you do. WTH right? From what you’ve learned you can only possibly get a +4. So it’s impossible? No! This is where books come in. They not only increase your chances of success but they increase your high outcome range.
Book 1 = +1
Book 2 = +2
Book 3 = +3
Book 4 = +4
“Well what does that mean?” It means when you compound your materials for your evil gown and add a book to the end your rank 27 average with a possible +4 will get an addition + possibility. So say you add book 3. you possible outcome is +7 instead of +4. So, now you can do that +5 compound. ;)
FAQ:
Why am i still Failing a lot?
~Well there could be a lot of reasons. i’ll go over fails in Lesson 3.
What alchemy do i use for different compounds?
~well it depends on your alchemy’s levels. Each alchemy has it’s benefits. If you understand the alchemies you will understand better.
Wonderland Alchemy Lessons: Level 1 (The Basics)
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|931views
The Basics
This if for those of you just starting alchemy. You don’t know where to start and you don’t get why when you put a flower from the 8-12 store with a grass you get a certain dress. It just doesn’t make sense. Well guess what. If you don’t learn now you will never be making things on your own. So lets start teaching you why.
Concept:
Each weapon you compound has a basic material make-up. This is why most alchemists will tell you, “You need to know what you are trying to make.” It’s true! You can’t just put two materials together and hope to get something usable. Every equipment has a base material followed by sub material(s). Thats the concept to making a new equipment. you compound something with a base material (first) with it’s sub mat(s) (second).
Example:
22 Golden Coat Leather / (Flower)
Right now don’t worry about the 22 infront of the golden coat. Thats the level and i’ll explain why thats important later. Ok so lets look at the Golden Coat. Lots of new players want this coat so i’d say it’s a good one. As you can see to the right the Gold Coat is a Leather Base material with a Flower material sub mat. I know you are saying, “yes but what does that mean??” Well it means that, theoreticly, if you put leather (first) and compound it with flower (second) you will have a chance at getting a Gold Coat. Thats it! Yes it’s that simple. Now because of the rank you can only use Certain Types of leather and flower.
Rank:
So, why does rank (half the little 22 out in front) matter? Well When you compound two items the game looks at them and takes an average. Say you have two Rank 10 items. If you compound those two items the game will find the average level of those two items (10) and then you have a chance of getting an item up to +4 ranks. So, a Rank 10 + another Rank 10 gives you a possible chance of UP to a rank 14 item! Another example is a rank 12 + a rank 10 has an average rank of 11. So that compounded together gives you a possible chance of UP to a rank 15 item. Now lets Go back to our example>>
Example 2:
22 Golden Coat Leather / (Flower)
Ok so now lets look at that 22. As i said above the rank is HALF of the level requirement. So this item has a rank of 11. All i know is i need a leather + a flower to make this. But now i also know that i can only get a +4. So, i need a leather and a flower that average rank out to 7 to have a chance of getting this. *NOTE: +4 compounds are much harder to get and much less likely. Try sticking with +3 or +2*. So i know i want to find a rank 7-10 Leather and a rank 7-10 Flower. Ok now say i have a red coat (Rank 10 Leather) and a White Rose (Rank 10 Flower). Well i WANT the golden coat. So, if i combine my Red Coat (first) + White Flower (Second) it averages to rank 10 and should get up to a rank 14. The Gold Coat is Rank 11 which is +1 so you have a good chance of making it. Yes it’s as simple as that!
FAQ:
Where did you get this information about what Material’s are in a compound?
~http://wonderlandonline.pbwiki.com/Compounding~ It has easy to use links for you to search and find items you may want, and will give you all the information you need to make it.
Can i find this info in game?
~Yes and no! The rank is freely given. But the materials you need to search for.
Well what about the High level equipment? There isn’t any “Leather” for a Level 50+ Armor!
~Yes there is. When you make a new gear it is usable as a item of it’s base material. The gold coat also counts as a rank 11 Leather. But i’ll explain more of that in lesson 2.
Does It Have To Be Exactly +4? Or Can It Be +3 +2 +1?
~It can be anything from FAIL (reduce to rank 1) Up to +4 above the average rank.
When you lvl your alchemy does that get bigger?
~No! It’s always Fail to +4 possible unless you use a book. This is true for ALL the alchemies at ANY level. The only thing that changes when you level them is your chance of success and how high of level/rank items you can successfully compound.
Wonderland Leveling from 1-91 only with remote
Feb 26, 2009 Wonderland|1,700views
Since too many people begin to addicted to gs training which resulted unbalance lvl with pets and gold(can get much from training),
I like to share my strategy here
My strategy is use at least 2 chars, 1 for supply foods, and another for lvling.
I made 2 chars, and my bro made 2 chars.
My char were Earth Warrior and Fire Mage and my brother’s char were Fire Warrior and Wind Mage.
Here we go~Â
I suggest group of two, so you’ll not die easily if you sit train (hp12 and sp6 recovered)
From lvl 1-10, go to chix farm to sit training and after lvl 7, better walk training with foods you got until lvl 7 and from boxes at robinson’s island. Don’t forget to use roca as your pet cause when you start first time, she’s very useful. after finished training here, just sell what you got to npc all to gain little money
From lvl 11-20, go to senior beetle, which located at south island. After you go out from subway, and go above little bit. From here, you’ll get many fruits and beetle horns. If you compound fruits + beetle horn, you’ll get many kind of juices. If lack of beetle horn, just compound fruits + fruits. Again, you don’t need extra foods cause you’ll get fruits from beetles.
From lvl 20-45, go to pine forest, and walk training at there with juices you got from beetles. At this lvl, i suggest you to get elin cause for mage, elin is really needed cause they can’t give damage much. Buy def equips from npc(holy) if you don’t have enough money to buy expensive armors. From what you sold when you train at chix farm. I’m sure you’ll run out of foods even you train with pair. if you run out of foods, go back to beetle and walking training there cause you still get exp. And back to the pine. what you got from pine (vine, turpentine, soft grass, vine grasses and cutton) use to make tomato juice. Formula is, put vine grasses to recycle bin, you’ll get harl grass or straw mushroom (more chance to get straw mushroom) and compound straw mushroom with vine or turpentine. Use those tomato juices when you training. Not even lvl, but you’ll lvling your skills too. soft grass, vine and turpentine left (cause ran out of vine grasses), sell to npc to get money. Cutton and harl grass, sell to ppls.
From lvl 45-70 for mage chars and lvl 45-55 for warrior chars, go to oslya, find 2 water raptors spot if you don’t have enough def with your elin (elin must have gun) i choose water raptor cause usually ppls have much def than elin. and elin is water. just sit down training there while get plenty of foods (many kind of meats). Don’t sell those to npc. But while mage chars training there and gaining foods, warrior chars make kitchen range. (i suggest glaze table if you can) After warrior chars make kitchen range or glaze table, back to oslya to sit down training. If you feel your def is high enough and you’ll not die easily, go to 3 raptor (earth, earth, wind) and 1 water pterosaurs. Until this stage, maybe you’ll feel boring cause not much money you earn and it’s quite hard work.
Final stage. lvl 70-91 for mage chars and lvl 55-91 for warrior chars, now, you’ll find exciting here. Training spot until lvl 91 is southpole cause wolves there low atk even bear is quite strong. When your warrior lvl 55, i’m sure your mage char or support food char around lvl 60 if you made glaze table at this stage. Now, we train warrior char faster than mage, cause easy to train because of their atk even without skill. Just remote with walk training at southpole (two warrior chars team up if your con is low). From here, you’ll get wolf tooth (20g), wolf fur (6g), beast bone (6g), beast fur 2g), cod and salmon. Your warrior chars training at southpole while your mage chars gaining foods for you. Warrior chars provide money now cause if you sell what you got there, you’ll get at least 40k per day (20 hours/day). You can buy good equips now. Buy all def equips and your warrior chars and elins wear those. When your warrior lvl low, i’m sure you’ll spend more foods than what you gained. That’s why i said before, warrior chars make glaze table first while mage chars gaining foods at oslya. And if run out of foods, just sit training at south pole while waiting your mage chars gain much foods again. Don’t forget to cook those. If your warrior reach some con, and lvl 80+, you don’t even need much foods. You can store foods cause you get cod and salmon at soutpole too. When you become lvl 91 here, you’ll not get exp from water wolves. exp will drop to 2-3 from around 30. If already like this, change position now! Your warriors go to oslya to gain foods, and mages go to southpole to lvling. At this lvl, even mage can kill wolves and bear in 1 turn with elin. If you’re not fire mage, i suggest you to get elin chip first. When mage training at southpole, it’s much easier than warrior. Because warriors already bought equips for mages, and elin lvls high enough. At least you’ll be lvl 70 when warrior become lvl 91. And this lvling, will end up with your lvl 91 and elin lvl 90 or 91. And you’ll get all good equips now even you didn’t sell anything to ppls.Â
Extra lvling from 91, you can go to kyota and train at troll spot. But i don’t suggest this cause troll has 1.5k hp and high damage too. So from lvl 91, better go for your gs trainingÂ
- Senior Beetle at lvl 10-20
- Pine at lvl 20-45
- 2 water raptors spot, lvling and gaining foods
- 3 raptors spot (earth, earth, wind) and can fight with water or fire pterosaurs too >.<
- Southpole, 2 water wolf spot, but you can walk training here. sit training suggested when you don’t
- kyota, way to go troll cave. but i don’t really suggest this. less exp, lots of food wasted
- This is troll cave and troll comming XD
