Methods to 99!
1-10 - Chickens, Goblins
When you first start Strength training go a bit east of Lumbridge castle over the bridge. There you will be at goblins. For chickens, go to goblins and go north pass the cow pen until you see the chickens. It shouldn’t take more than 30-60 minutes.
Loot- Goblins = Coins, different low runes.
Chickens = Feathers
10-20 Men, Cows
Men are good xp for these levels you can find men all across RuneScape but a good spot is at the men house in Edgevill north-west of Lumbrige, directly north of Barbarian Village. Cows are just above the goblins spot (refer to 1-10 methods) in a pen.
Loot - Men = Coins, Lvl 1 Clues, Herbs
Cows = Cowhides
20-30/40 - Al Kharid Warriors
Alkharid Warriors, how do you get here? Walk east of Lumbridge over the brige again then you will come up to a gate you must pay 10 gp or nothing if you’ve done Prince Ali Rescue. Once you pass the gate go south to the palace. Wear good melee protection armor because they will pile on you.
Loot- Al Kharid Warriors = Coins, Clues
40-50 Rock Crabs, Hill Giants
By now you should be a member. Familiar yourself with the area. Great! Now where you want to go is Rellekka. Ok, from the members gate go west over White Wolf Mountain. You should be in Catherby. Now go north-west to Seers Village. Then make your way north just follow the path until you reach Rellekka then keep going north until you see “rocks” walk past them and they will pop up. They’re only level 13! Looks can decieve you they have 50 Hp. If they stop popping up just walk south pass the long building and go back. Hill Giants, these are located just outside of Barbarian Village (north-west of Lumbridge) and north a tad bit.
Once you enter the house (requires Brass Key) walk down the ladder. Right then you should see a room with a number of Hill Giants. Thats where you want to be.
Loot - Rock Crabs = Level 1 Clue Scrolls, gems, Noted Seaweed (these are quite good they sell for 200 each instantly)
Hill Giants = Big Bones
50-60 - Flesh Crawlers, Rock Crabs Hill Giants
Well Rock Crabs and Hill Giants are always good (refer to 40-50). Flesh Crawlers are new though. These are in the Stronghold for Security in Barbarian Village second level you must get through the first level before going to these. These are good xp and cash
Loot - Rock Crabs and Hill Giants refer to 40-50
Flesh Crawlers = Runes, herbs, coins
60-70 - Rock Crabs, Experiments, Ogres
Rock Crabs are still good. You can go to the same spot or to the island which costs 1k to go. Theres a spot where 3 rock crabs will **spawn and you just have to stay put!
Experiments you must get to a certain point in Creature of Fenkenstrain. Ogres are also good xp. They are just east of Castle Wars.
Loot - Rock Crabs refer to 40-50
Experimets = None
Ogres = Big Bones, High level seeds.
70-80 - Ankou, Giant Spiders, Slayer
If you made it this far then well done! Ok, ankous these are one of my personal favorites. These are on the fourth level of the Stronghold for Security. I reccomend going to the Level 75’s because of the other mosters mixed in with the other Ankous. The level 75’s are alone in their own room. Though usually packed if you find a good world you can get good money and Xp. Giant Spiders are located on the third level of the Stronghold for Security. It is single combat but they make a crowd around you and you just sit back and relax. They’re not even that high a level. Once they stop auto-attacking you can go in the next room and do the same thing. Slayer not much to say but use black mask! This brings in good money too and it trains two skills so you get a good total level!
Loot - Ankou = High level runes, mith ore, pure essence, battle staffs gems.
Giant Spiders = None
Slayer = Varies on monster but you can get clues, dark bows, Abyssal whips, and even a Dragonic Visage! But that loot is for higher slayer levels (besides the clues)
80-90 - Ankous, Slayer, Monkey Guards, Bandits, Dags, Dust Devils, DT Skele
Ankous and Slayer refer to 70-80. Monkey Guards are good training xp. They are loccated on Ape Atoll in the temple bring good Str/Pray bonus, D Bxe, and super pots. You go there put on protect from melee and start fighting. When your prayer gets low pray at the altar. If they have you trapped run behind the fire pit and put your greegree on then pray at the altar then take off your greegree and continue. Bandits are locate in the desert south of Al Kharid. One option is the prayer option where you bring a full inventory of P Pots and Prot. Melee in the bar. Second option is using Guthans. go into a little house with 2 or 3 bandits start fighting until you Hp gets low then put on Guthans then get healh up to the green zone and continue fighting.
Third option of bandits is bringing full invent of food, noted food and coins then figthting bandits in a house. When you run out of food sell the noted food to the general and buy it back then repeat. Daggonoths are located under the lighthouse south-west of Rellekka. You must have done Horror From the Deep quest to do this. Have good armor but still have a Strength bonus. They will pile on you so have auto-retaliate on so you can do other things but make sure you keep an eye out on your account. Once they stop attacking you walk up the lader and run to the back of the room then go back. These can get crowded or even a cannoner can come so you might have to take time to get a good world. Dust Devils are located in the well in the desert. They are level 93 and require 65 Slayer. They are not aggressive. Desert Treasure Skeles are in Damis’s Lair. Thay auto attack you so less work for you. There is a general store nearby so you can sell food and buy back.
Loot - Ankou/Slayer refer to 70-80
Monkey Guards = None
Bandits = High level herbs and runes.
Daggs = Decent seeds
Dust Devils = Dragon chain, gems
DT Skeles = None
90-99! - Various methods.
If you have made it this far then well done! You have really worked hard! Here is where xp get faster but more xp per level! Slayer, ankous, bandits, daggs, Monkey Guards, DT Skeles and dust devils are still good at this level look back to 80-90 artical. But a good one here for these levels in Pest Control. Although, you must be 100+ and willing to not grow your hp a lot. This is good xp I used to hear stories of getting like 4 levels in 2 or 3 days! A good team will help so look for a 100+ PC Team on the forums it won’t be hard to find trust me!
Loot - Slayer, Ankous, Bandits, Daggs, Monkey Guards, Dust Devils, DT Skeles refer to 80-90
Pest Control = Coins
Congratulations! You are now 99 Strength! Go get that cape! Wear it with pride!
Strength Weapons/Armor Artical!
Armor and weapons are vital when training any combat stat but with strength you also should try boosting you Strength Bonus with armor and weapons.
Some useful Strength Training Weapons:
Dragon Scimitar is a quite common Strength trainer. This use to be the best Strength Trainer in the game until Godswords came. The bonus to this is +66 in Strength
Dragon Long is a good Strength trainer for people with 60 Attack but haven’t done Monkey Madness. Its special attack (’Cleave’) hit relitivly high. The bonus is +73.
Dragon Dagger is a good secondary weapon because of its special attack. Its special attack hits twice and a quite decent hit those two are. I hit 36 pot/pray 32 just pray with Dragon Dagger. Strength bonus is +40
Dragon Halberd is another good secondary weapon. It hits one good hit on a 1-sqaure opponent or 2 good hits on a 2-square (or more) opponent. It is quite slow but can hit over obstacles. +89 Strength Bonus
Dragon Mace is another great secondary weapon. Its special is one hit but very powerful. I like to use it against people with barrows because its that powerful. +55 Strength Bonus
Dragon 2-Hander is a quite decent yet underestimated weapon. It is not used quite often but its special is good for when you are at somewhere like bandits because it hits multi-targeted. The strength bonus is +93
Saradomin Sword, people say trains Strength as fast as a whip would train Attack. Its a two-handed sword with a special that hits twice in one. The strength bonus for this is +82. You need 70 Attack to wield.
Bandos Godsword is another good strength trainer. It is a very powerful 2-hander (like all godswords). Its special does 10% more damage and lowers opponents defense by the amount hit. +132 Strength bonus
Zamorak Godsword is another godsword like Bandos yet it differs. Its special will do normal damage and freezes your opponent for 20 seconds just like Ice Barrage. +132 Strength Bonus
Saradomin Godsword is just another godsword. Its special attack will reheal your Hp by half of the damage done and your prayer by a quarter of the damage done. +132 Strength Bonus
Armadyl Godsword, this godsword is probably the best according to hits. People say its over-priced but yet people disagree. The special does 25% more damage! Strength +132. All godswords require 75 Attack to wield!
Barrelchest Anchor is a 2-Handed weapon recieved from The Great Brain Robbery. The Strength bonus is +100.
Strength Training Armor!
The Dragonfire Shield (Fully Charged) offers the best Defence of any shield in the game, and the best strength bonus, with a strength bonus of +7.
Neitznot/Berzerker Helms are good for strength training. The reason I put them together is because they have the same strength bonus. Neit has a better prayer bonus though. Need to do Fremmy Trial for Zerker (45 Def) and Fremmy Isles for Neit (55 Def). +3 Strength Bonus
Berserker Ring is a basic ring with a Strength bonus of +4.
Fighter Torso is an armor piece that you can obtain from Barbarian Assault. You need 375 points in each role to get and 40 defense to wear. Strength bonus is +4
Rune Defender is a shield obtained from cyclopses in the Warriors Guild (130 Str+Att lvls). Strength bonus is +5.
Strength Amulet is good for its Strength bonus of +10
Glory has other bonuses and a Strength bonus of +6.
Fury is good for its other bonuses along with +8 Strength bonus.
Dragon Boots are good for the Strength bonus of +4 and other defense bonuses. You can get these from spiritual mages in GWD (83 Slayer required)
Barrows Gloves have a good Strength bonus of +12. Must have fully completed Recipe for Disaster
Fire Cape has good bonuses including a Strength Bonus of +4. You must do the full Fight Caves (atleast 75 Range reccomended) which means you must defeat the lvl 702 Tz-Tok-Jad
Bandos Tassets have good defense bonuses along with +2 Strength bonus.
