However, when the garden gets crowded, and you want more roses, what do you do? Let terraforming take the guesswork out of your plans for your Empire. When you need a resource you don’t have space for, you can terraform other land into whatever you need!
Terraforming can have huge benefits for your Empire, no matter what kind of development you have planned. Both Economic and Militaristic Empires have resources they need, and both often have a limited space for them. This is where terraforming comes into play. Let’s say you need to increase Sand production. Simply look at your resource fields and find ones that you either don’t need, or don’t need now, then terraform them into Deserts to boost Sand production. For those players more focused on the economic side of imperial expansion, focusing production on one or two types of resources will cut the cost of constructing unnecessary buildings, in addition to saving skill points from being wasted on upgrading buildings you don’t really need.
Terraforming gives you a whole selection of land to choose from, including Plains, Deserts, Lakes, Mountains, and Woodland, each with their own available resources and ore.

Freesky Online: Open Beta on Its Way

Freesky Online has been enjoying a very successful Closed Beta. Within just 72 hours 200,000 players from almost 200 different countries help us to make this CB one of our best ever! Today we are also happy to report that the Open Beta will be available on May 22nd EDT (GMT-4).
Although the Closed Beta has been a definite success, that doesn’t mean there haven’t been setbacks. We’ve been busy fixing bugs, adjusting code and improving the overall feel of the game. With 5 servers launched to date, and so many problems resolved, we expect that Freesky has a bright future ahead in Open Beta!
We’re so excited about the Open Beta we have a special event planned for our players to enjoy right off the bat! Our Treasure Box Party is going to be a big hit with players being able to open 80 treasure boxes each day. This means 30 extra boxes containing various resources, gold, and airships for players to enjoy everyday!

Freesky Online is a strategy-oriented web game that challenges players to found and then build up Empire. If players want to stand out in the future, they must have solid goals for development and clear plans about how to achieve these goals. We’ve talked about Economic development before, so today were going to be discussing the details of the other primary development strategy, strong militaristic development.
Money Then Military
Although this is a very common development strategy, the differences here are in the details. The only major drawback is the obviously insufficient military power of your Empire when its in its most crucial growth stage. Selling large amounts of resources is one way to stimulate the development of the economy in the short term, while you prepare to quickly build the military when the time is right. Because you’ll be focused on stockpiling resources to fund a military buildup that hasn’t happened yet, this can be a confusing and sometimes effective way of staying one step ahead of your enemies in the region.
Secret Strike
This means of development takes one part of the previous strategy and moves it front and center. Forget trying to jump start the economy. Forget about the mind games. Just stockpile every military resource and airship you can get your hands on, keep it secret til you’re ready and then launch a pre-emptive (surprise) attack on an enemy of your choice. This method can be devastating, and with good size Armies taking only a day or two to build, very effective. However, because it relies on secrecy and surprise, it usually can’t be used more than a few times before someone pre-emptively attacks you, so as a long term strategy, it’s not quite as useful.
Keep Your (Potential) Enemies Close
This is a very flexible development direction, because how you develop depends on what your Alliance needs. If there are many economic-oriented players in this alliance, then you’re probably going to be the muscle, and quickly developing a strong military is essential in order to protect them from danger. Remember, they got the funds you need to keep the airship production lines humming, and you have the protection they need so they don’t get mugged by a hostile army. Just make sure you let them know that they need you a lot more than you need them.
With certain items, you can take control of a war with ease. If military-oriented players use these kinds of items, enemies might even mistake them for an economy-oriented Empire and make the mistake of picking a fight. Then, you got them right where you want them…

With the Freesky Online Closed Beta being released this week, there has been a rush of players into the new Freesky Online servers. With easy-to-complete newbie quests, Freesky Online is a game that players can get started playing very fast. After the newbie period and introductions to all the critical components and functions, you need to choose a direction for your empire to develop. With the might of an Empire weighing on you, many players will choose the safe route and go for strong economic development. This is the safe route because it ensures a stable economy with plenty of money to buy either arms or supplies. So, once you’ve decided to be a business friendly empire, where do you go from there?
Capitalism Gone Wild
This direction is quite extreme, and in later phases, the potential to suddenly explode onto the scene becomes greater and greater. However, this kind of empire has a fatal weakness in that they will often be so busy trading and so focused on profit margins that they forget to build an Army. They will need, and depend on strong military-oriented allies.
Apart from the resources used for constructing and upgrading buildings, the rest will be sold to produce more funds to put back into economic development. After your economy gets rolling, you can either continue developing it or begin developing your military.
A Little Bit of Everything
Development in this way means that you enjoy the best of both worlds, but are no match for the extremes. With an average economy producing average results that must support both the economy and an average military, this way of developing means that you will be able to withstand attacks from average players, but when facing an enemy that has grown beyond you, your moderation will come back to haunt you as you’re overwhelmed. Wild capitalists will be able to use their massive economy and large amounts of resources to quickly build an Army that will crush your Empire, while massively militaristic states will have been writing your eulogy since they launched their first airship. Maintaining a balance can be good, but don’t let it doom your Empire to mediocrity. Those same militaristic states that may threaten to overwhelm you may also be important allies; while with a good economy, you can take advantage of the business friendly capitalists. Choosing friends and allies may make all the difference for this type of economy.
Hidden Development
They say knowledge is power. Knowing something your enemy doesn’t can be very powerful, to be sure. Keeping your development hidden and letting potential friends or enemies know only what they need to know can be very helpful when it comes time to put force to words. However, don’t let your clever plans be your undoing. If your enemies see through you, you may end up falling easy to a well planned attack at just the right time.
Develop your economy for a time, possibly 2 or 3 days or a little longer, and then switch to focus on your military. Attack NPC zones or weaker players to gather resources for your budding military or to trade. Don’t fall into patterns of development; change is your friend and strategy.
With your development going in so many directions, it may buy you enough time to develop into a power in the region, or to find powerful allies.

Many new players have expressed confusion about how to evolve in Freesky Online when they first log into the game. Today the folks at Freesky Online will be giving new players some tips on the best ways to get started in Freesky.
After players finish the 14 newbie quests, they need to choose a development direction. There are 2 directions. One is to become a military empire, the other one is to become a commercial empire.
Commercial Empire
Money makes the world go round and those who have a lot of it are in an enviable position compared to others. Building a powerful trade empire which uses advanced technology in the production of materials and parts means that soon you will have customers lining up to buy from you. A powerful trade empire enables an alliance to develop faster and to build miracles. A commercial empire requires a safe and stable environment which a powerful alliance can provide. After joining an alliance, you can gain the knowledge and support of your allies. Most importantly, a commercial empire needs the protection of an alliance because it doesn’t have many fleets of its own.
Military Empire
If you would like to command huge fleets and engage in intense battles, then build a strong military empire and begin your conquest. A powerful military empire ensures the survival and development of an Alliance. With the help of strong fleets, the alliance can protect their merchants, fight enemies and occupy NPC zones to secure their place in the game world.
However, neither of these development strategies will last long on their own. Form alliances to increase the strength and power of your empire while at the same time assuring your security.

Freesky Online: Closed Beta Quickly Coming

Freesky Online is a real-time strategy game that requires skill and planning. However, one person’s cunning and power is far less than what’s needed to take control of the world in game. Players need powerful Alliances to support their ambitions, and the biggest sources of support for Alliances are Miracle’s. The Miracle is the core of every alliance. Alliance leaders can build the following 4 different types of Miracles depending on their Alliance:
A Light Miracle increases members’ productivity; A Shadow Miracle increases the rate of software and airship production; A Deity Miracle increases the Army’s offensive force; A Devil Miracle increases the army’s defensive force.
To Build Miracles
Requirements
Alliance leaders should reach Level 3, and all members’ levels added together must reach Level 30+, then a Miracle Village can be built. After the Miracle Village is constructed, a Miracle can be built.
Construction Process
First, the resources must be transported to the Miracle (only Level 2+ players who’ve joined the Alliance for 20+ days are qualified to transport them). When there are enough resources, the Miracle can be built.
Second, each Alliance can only own 4 Miracles. To build a 2nd one, a Level 5+ Miracle is required. To build the 3rd one, 2 Level 10+ Miracles are required. To build the 4th one, 3 Level 20 Miracles are required.
To Upgrade Miracles
Level 25 is the maximum limit for each Alliance. Players can attack opposing alliances’ Miracles while they’re being upgraded. If they succeed, they will obtain all the resources gathered for the Miracle upgrade, and the Miracle itself will be demoted 1 level.

In Freesky Online, the Erl Continent is transforming into a new Continent. The New Continent’s landmass is less than one-third of the size of Erl Continent. Even though it’s sad, Erl is dying away and won’t be seen again we must remember that with change comes opportunity. The New World has experienced numerous changes so far and there are many more to come in the landscape of the sacred empire Noah.
Headed by the Diamond Plains, the other forces, which balance the power in the New Continent, are scattered all around mainland. Through them it is easy to find out about the fighting between the different forces. But the focus of all of this change is the development of the New World. The new continent brings with it a whole new world to explore,divided into five regions according to geography and natural conditions:
Northwest of the continent – The Moon Corner
Tranquility is the main theme of the Moon Corner. With the Old Dynasty gone, the ancient city stands peacefully bathed in the moonlight. The Moon Corner is the coldest region in the New Continent with its northern most island permanently covered by snow. However, the howling gales and the sub zero temperatures have never stopped those who want to escape all of the conflicts from coming here.
Northeast of the continent, Forsaken City
The most desolate place in the continent is in the northeast — the Forsaken City. It has no resources to offer; except for the broken ship moulds and the Shadow Church headquarters of The New World. There is nothing but dank air and oppression hanging over the place. There aren’t even any creatures. However, some believe that there once was an ancient civilization that called it home.
Central Land - Sun Plain
The hot climate, and limited airflow has the tendency to send people here slightly crazy. The Sun Plain is a tough unforgiving place. It is not well populated and is mostly filled with deserts, minefields, mines and prisons.
Southwest of the continent - Diamond Plain
The “Diamond Plain” has the most crystals anywhere in the continent and so it is a very important asset for the empire. It may not be as full of resources as Paradise Island, but it is still a luxurious place. In addition to the empire capital, Victoria Town, and the Knight’s Palace many fabulous loyal mansions are also located here.
Southeast of the continent - Paradise Island
To the southeast of the New Continent is a small idyllic island. It has a very agreeable climate and marvelous scenery. Many creatures have made it their home. The Chain Forests, the empire’s Culture Center, the federal defensive city, Headstand City and the Magic Palace are all located there. So it is definitely worthy of the name “Paradise Island.”

Freesky Online is the soon to be released web game based on the theme of air battles. In the game there are 4 factions: the Divine Hall, the Deity Church, the Cursed Temple, and the Shadow Church. Both the Divine Hall and the Deity Church represent the Empire, and both the Cursed Temple and the Shadow Church represent the opposing side. The Divine Hall controls the Holy Crystal, and the Deity Church controls the crystal. Whilst it is true that for a long time they have coveted each other’s resources, it is also true that this never comes to a head. One main reason for this is that they frequently unite their forces to fight against their enemies; the Cursed Temple and the Shadow Church.

Divine Hall
Divine Hall is the heart of the empire, and the protector of world peace. Divine Hall is also the guardian of the empire and accepts the King’s order only. The 4 Lords who were titled after the war now control the Divine Hall. Each of the 4 Lords has his own HolyCrystalCity with abundant resource which was granted by the empire.
The Cursed Temple
Those who live in the CursedTemple are great warriors who fight for free to protect the rights of the poor. For this reason, the Cursed Temple is also called a rebel alliance. The members in it do a lot of important communication in the different nations.
Deity Church
The Deity Church was named so because the people believe that the Gods can bring brightness and happiness for everyone on Earth. However, the church was betrayed by its alliance, and so now the people in it are collecting lots of wealth to get their revenge.
Shadow Church
The existence of the Shadow Church has always been controversial because the people come from a different power. Especially the people from the Deity Church think that the Shadow Church shouldn’t exist in this world. The Shadow  Church does not control people’s thoughts. The church is praised by the poor people because it provides them with food and shelter. It even built a library for them. However, the people from the Deity Church say that the Shadow Church has cheated them and they plan to eventually fight them.

When you first enter the <Freesky> maybe you have no idea how to develop your city, the following introduction maybe will help you.
Newbie Guide:
1.Make sure follow the newbie quest guide.
2.Please note that don’t build other buildings which the newbie quest did not required.
3.Learn Dominance to build the Branch City.
After entering the game, the fastest way to develop is follow up the newbie quest guide. Please make sure everyone would follow the newbie quest guide, quest has to be finished until step 12(build new castle).
Follow the newbie quest guide, the rewards you will get after finished the quest is far exceed the gold and the construction material you spent while doing the quest. At the mean time it can also finished various base construction which is necessary at the beginning in the fastest way.
Especially after finished quest 12, there is not only new castle you can own, but only can obtain very valuable funds for early days construction, 8000 sand, 4000 gold!
Particular not are:
First, in the quest process, make sure build the building follow the quest guide, don’t build or upgrade which the quest did not required. For fear the shortage of resources and gold, it would be waste of times.
Second, please carefully when you select the address of the second castle. You will have 10 attack aircraft after you finished the newbie quest 9, you can send them to reconnaissance the resources of the villages nearby! Make sure the kind of resources then think about where to build the Branch City. The first Branch City is better to select near the Main City, so you can transport the resources from Main City to Branch City faster.
Third, we suggest you to “Terraforming” after you built the Branch City, rebuild landform means you can transform the resources outside the town into a same resource. However, there is a chance here, and you still need spend resource to transformation (each 500 gold 2000 sand), so don’t blind pursuit the 8 kinds of the same resources at the beginning and madness to change. Fourth, transform one time at most at the beginning, use the Mall Gift Point if you have it (increase the chance of transformation, you still can use Gift Point to transform which you got from system at the beginning!), saving the cost. Fifth, we believe you have some basic concept and also understanding about the operation of the game after you finished the quest 12, you can continue to follow the newbie quest guide then finish all the newbie quests.

First. Keep building the Branch City
The more the Branch City, the more the resources you can obtain every day. So the businessmen should build Branch City as more as possible at the beginning, and doing the terraforming of Branch City as soon as possible, upgrade the resources field outside the city. Third. Learn the interior skill
You can learn skills about production in “Natural Academy”. Your studying can focus on the skill which can improve the resources production at the beginning. However, you’d better select the skill base on your situation. If the main output is metals, then you just need to study the skill to improve the metal production.
If you have profits by process parts, you can learn improve the processing speed and reduce the amount of processing skill. When reduce the processing cost of each part, then you will make profit, the less the cost the more the profits. The less time to processing a part, the more profits you get in units of time.
Fourth. Know how to processing the parts
a)Set up 3 process factory in each city, you can arrange the variety of processing factory according to the variety of the resources. If all the cities are produce metals, you can set up 3 arsenal in each city.
b) Each of the processing factory quest in two. For example, if the iron ore resources of someplace can make 60 missiles, and we have 3 factories, every factory to do 20, and each factory will finish it in two times, that is one quest and every factory do 10, it make the time can be shorten to finished the quest, so that we can sale it in time and obtain the gold.
c) Put a hero with high shadow attributes in processing city, it can also improve the speed of the parts.

A powerful military empire ensures the alliance’s survival and development. With the help of strong fleets, the alliance can protect their merchants, fight enemies and occupy NPC zones to secure a place in the game world.
1.    Fight Alone or Team up with Friends
We believe that two heads are better than one, so in Freesky Online you have the opportunity to join forces with other players. As the commander of a military empire, you can choose to fight alone or join an alliance. Keep in mind that occupying an NPC zone and joining large-scale military actions is difficult work when you’re on your own.
2.    Build Infrastructure
Although it is unnecessary for a military empire to focus all its energy on developing the economy, certain infrastructure is needed to maintain a strong and successful military. A military empire requires sufficient food to support its fleets as well as advanced ship-building and military technology to give rise to a formidable force.
3.    Choose a Fleet and a Shipyard
Small craft, such as Attack Planes and Frigates can be built in a Light Shipyard while large ships such as Battleships and Cruisers can only be built in a Heavy Shipyard. Production of each ship requires a different military science.
Each city can build up to 3 shipyards but you must be wise about which ships you choose to build. As it is difficult to learn all the military sciences at the beginning of the game, you need to build ships in accordance with your main military focus and goals. Also, different ships battle each other so you need to take into account your enemies’ fleet configurations as well.
For example, if you would like to fight with NPCs in the NPC zones you should build Battleships but if your enemies have Attack Planes it would be better to build Frigates.
4.    Level up Your Shipyard and Military Science
After building the required ships, you should level-up military science so that you can improve your ships and build higher-level ships in the future. Upgrading your shipyard helps you to build ships faster and to form an army quicker.
5.    Grow through Battle
Battles enable a military empire to develop quickly. Once you have enough fleets, you should join battles where you can earn Gold and Reputation.
Depending on your situation, you can go to NPC zones and fight NPC fleets or occupy other players’ cities so that you can demand taxes. It is also highly profitable to attack other players’ armies with your alliance members. A military empire can’t develop rapidly unless it engages in as many battles as possible.
6.    Seize a Place in the Alliance
As a powerful military empire, you should protect merchants in your alliance. When they have been occupied, you should command your fleet to save them. When a member of your alliance is attacked, you should help them to conquer their enemies. You should also work hard with your alliance members to attack other alliances or to protect your alliance.
You prove your value to the alliance every time you help an alliance member. If you help them, merchants may give you the required parts and materials to form an army. You may be able to purchase goods at lower prices from the alliance rather than the market. What’s more, a lot of top-quality parts can only be obtained with the help of your alliance.
7.    Guard Alliance Miracles
Constructing Alliance Miracles has many benefits. However, if the miracle is attacked while it is leveling up, the upgrade will fail and all materials used for the upgrade will be taken by the attackers. It is imperative that the military empire protects Alliance Miracles as they are vital to the alliance’s honor and wealth.

Fourth. Select a sector for your airship
The airship you can build at the beginning is attack and frigates.
Advantage of the attack aircraft is fast manufacture, quick speed, low production requirements, but it will lose more when they attack the NPC army.
Advantage of the frigates is it lose less when attack the NPC army, but it required corresponding military technology.
Fifth. Build your first army
Build some light dockyard in your own city, if you want to produce the attack aircraft you can buy the parts directly, and if you want to produce frigates, you need to study thecorresponding skills in “Military Academy’.
Sixth. Kill NPC after you entered the NPC area and gain gold and reputation
When your army reaches a certain number you can enter the NPC area by use “Transition Crystal”! You can obtain “Transition Crystal” by killed the NPC army and you can alsobuy it in “Services List”.
There is level limitation in NPC area, and it also separate into safety, novice levels. Newbie would better enter the safety level of NPC area which is level 1-2, so that theywon’t be attacked by other players.

Seventh. Battle techniques in NPC area
a)Send a spy airship before enter the NPC area. Then you can know the refresh and position of NPC army clearly, and also know the movement of other players.
b)The time you can stay in NPC area is 6 hours at most. Evacuate all your armies if you won’t fight, otherwise you can’t enter there because the time is over 6 hours.
c)Attack NPC which is weaker than you. For example you have a army around 500tons, you can attack the army which only have 200tons, to make sure the success.
d)In NPC area, you can move to a neutral city by click it, but you can’t cancel it after you send the order. So please investigate the situation of target city carefully before move.
e)Attention of the pin down between armies in battle. For example attack aircraft pin down the warship, frigates pin down the attack aircraft. The battle effectiveness will be increased 50% when attack the pin down army.
f)Pay attention to the morale of corps in any time, if the morale drops the battle effectiveness drops. Make sure the food in castle is enough for army at any time.
By kill the NPC army in NPC area at the beginning, you can keep gaining the reputation, skill points and gold, the gold can buy more parts or upgrade the dockyard and various military building. Skill points can help you to keep upgrading the military science, when the military science reaches a certain level you can build warship even more advanced attack aircraft and frigates.
After the army has begun to take shape, you can choose to enter more advanced NPC area. You also can attack other players’ castle at the mean time. By attack other players you not only can gain reputation and gold, but also can get occupation tax by occupy their cities, then get more and more stronger!
