Talisman Online is a free 3D fantasy MMORPG with colorful graphics. TO gets its name from powerful items in the game known as Talismans. There are two types of Talismans: Weapon Talismans and Assistant Talismans. A character can have one Weapon Talisman and two Assistant Talismans at the same time. Each of the game’s 5 professions has their own set of Talismans. For example, a Monk has a shovel for a Weapon Talisman while a Wizard has a sword and a Tamer has a Pet Bell for an Assistant Talisman while a Fairy has a Treasure Leaf instead. In addition to the Talismans, this game is bolstered by an auction house that can be found in cities and guilds fighting for control of Stone City and Blood Mountain. To make buying and selling easier for players, this game has an auction house and banking (warehouse) similar to World of Warcraft. In fact, just looking at the screenshots on this page shows that the game bears a strong resemblance to WoW. The upside of this is that Talisman Online incorporates some of WoW’s better ideas to make the game more player-friendly. However, the guild war is a little different from WoW. Instead of just being able to access NPCs like in WoW’s Halaa (which is controlled by a faction instead of a guild), guilds that control Stone City earn tax income from NPCs and can hunt a special area exclusively. With the resemblance to WoW and the aforementioned features, Talisman Online could eventually develop into one of the better free MMORPGs.
Talisman Online, from Chinese developer Miracle Castle, is a fantasy MMORPG inspired by ancient myth. The story concerns an evil force, Master Blood, that was sealed away many years ago, and who may have reemerged. Players can choose one of five classes, each of whom can equip powerful talismans by which to fight with.
Leveling up is fairly straightforward, and common features such as a quest system and mounts are there. You can buy upgrades or Talisman Points (also earned in game) from the item shop, which allow you to upgrade your talismans and advance faster.
